In November 2024, I visited a Western-style izakaya right by Keio Line Yahata-yama Station on a rainy autumn day. It was an interesting space that felt both American and Japanese. I enjoyed a draft beer with chorizo and potato fries, and a white wine with Bismarck pizza.

The restaurant has a veteran chef and offers a wide variety of dishes, seemingly able to prepare just about anything. The lotus root stuffed and deep-fried comes with lemon on the side, and the sauce is rich in flavor. The carbonara has just the right amount of heat in the sauce, achieving a rich taste without being overly heavy.

I first visited over five years ago, and I've been going regularly since then. The "Tomato and Tuna Pasta" and "Margherita Pizza" are absolutely delicious, and I always make sure to order them. The variety of pizzas and pastas is plentiful. Additionally, everything I've ordered, from salads to fried dishes, has been really tasty. The owner is friendly, and the calm atmosphere of the restaurant allows for a relaxed dining experience. The service is excellent, and the cost performance is great. I find myself wanting to eat there regularly, and I've always left satisfied. Before I knew it, it became the restaurant I’ve been visiting the longest. Personally, it's my number one favorite place.

The kindness of the owner was reflected in the food. The Mont Blanc dessert was also delicious. The pizza is tasty too, so I hope you try it!
