I went on a business trip to Asahikawa Nishi-kundari in the morning and struck out. It was about 1 hour until the nearby restaurants opened, so I killed time at the 24-hour supermarket, Seiyu. I walked around the food floor and bought some eggs, which were in short supply. I remembered my wife saying, "If you see them, buy them," so I made the purchase thinking about the groceries. I only had soba for lunch yesterday and barely ate at night, so I woke up this morning weighing about 800g less. I don't feel very hungry, but I thought I should consume some calories, so I decided to have the "Glico Almond Milk." I initially considered having milk, but this had fewer calories, so I went with it. I sat at the food court and enjoyed my meal. I heard that "Almond Milk" has a good nutritional balance, so I used to drink the one from Costco, but I didn't stick with it for long. Now I don't drink it, but this one tasted slightly sweeter (even though it doesn't contain sugar). Thank you for the meal.

I revisited a store in Kita-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, which is part of the major supermarket chain Seiyu with over 300 stores nationwide. The store is located right at the intersection of Abukuma Chuo-dori and Abukuma-dori. Today, I bought some meat for making cutlets and some snacks. I bought domestic pork meat for the cutlets because Canadian pork was expensive. I also bought some chicken breast meat for a lighter snack. Additionally, I purchased some pressed mackerel sushi, which was delicious with a hint of grain vinegar flavor. Overall, it was a successful shopping trip at the supermarket.

Today is the first day of my three-day weekend~♪ I went solo to explore Seiyu after a long time. Upon arrival, it was crowded as expected for a holiday! Is the state of emergency lifted? Inside, I had a regular ramen at the food court! Then, I headed to the deli section. Oh, the product lineup has changed and looks more stylish. Even the lighting seems different. I bought boneless pork spare ribs for 398 yen + tax, dashimaki tamago tempura for 198 yen + tax, university sweet potato for 198 yen + tax, and an American dog for 98 yen + tax. The total amount was 968 yen including tax. After eating, everything was delicious! The American dog was tasty, but how about the dashimaki tamago tempura? The boneless spare ribs were cheap and delicious. I wonder if the deli menu will change next time. Thank you for the meal~♪

It's lunchtime at Atsubetsu... I parked my car in the parking lot of Seiyu Atsubetsu store and went inside. I walked around the deli section of Seiyu, picked out some items, and purchased the "Mackerel Sushi @228". I will enjoy it along with soba from the food court "Restaurant Sachi". The sushi consists of three pieces, with a moderate acidity and thick mackerel that has a nice firm texture. The vinegared rice is cooked to a firm texture and the sushi is not bad. It's a shame that it's too cold from refrigerated storage. Compared to about ten years ago, Seiyu has significantly improved its product lineup and prices. I will definitely patronize either of them again. Thank you for the meal.
