I had been curious about Nishiogi 333 (Sasami) since before it opened, but I hesitated to go because it’s located down an alley, and I worried that if I went all the way there and it didn’t feel right, I might regret it. However, seeing "Nishiogi" in the name makes me, as a local, feel happy. After drinking quite a bit at another place, I finally visited with a colleague on a whim. Right when we entered, I felt a sense of relief—the cozy and easygoing atmosphere, along with the welcoming demeanor of the owner, who seemed to be around my age, made me feel at home, like I was visiting a yearly favorite inn. That alone put me in a great mood, but the food was delicious, making me even happier. The spice curry, beef tendon stew, and extremely spicy black mapo tofu were all incredibly good! I’ve heard that the pizza is made from scratch, so I definitely want to try that next time! All the food prices are consistent with “333” numbers, and the highball at 333 yen is a great deal! The owner asked me not to take a picture of his face, so I only took a photo of the lovely apron with the restaurant's logo. The glass for Hartland beer is also stylish with the logo! The location is down the alley next to the Korean restaurant, Onggi. Recently, I visited a restaurant as part of the drinking event "Nomarukurari" held in Nishi-Ogikubo. This event allows you to buy a ticket and enjoy designated drinks for just 300 yen at participating establishments. On that day, I hopped around to 10 different places, but one restaurant left a particularly strong impression on me. Since it was a bar-hopping event, I couldn’t eat much at each place, but I could thoroughly enjoy the atmospheres. Restaurant 333 is located in a bit of an obscure area and is a cozy little spot. The ambiance is really nice, and the friendliness of the staff makes you want to return. I definitely plan to visit again for a proper drink!

I visited a restaurant with a friend for the first time, and the interior was extremely clean and beautiful. They have a wide variety of highballs, but the standout is the "333 Highball," which is only 333 yen—such a great deal! Most other highballs are around 700 yen, so maybe this one is a special offer. I tried the gyoza and coconut curry, and both were incredibly delicious. It has a hidden gem vibe, and the food is excellent with a friendly owner, so I highly recommend it! I will definitely be back!
