Menya Fukuhara Group's third store (opened on April 22, 2021). This is my favorite menu in this series, so I come here the most. Finally, the fifth store (intense tonkotsu broth!) has been announced! I ordered the "Chashu Lightly Salted Shoyu Ramen" - the soup overflowing with the umami of simmered dried fish and the perfect amount of salt. The slurping of the noodles was excellent! I also had the "Charred Soy Sauce Pork Rice Bowl" for a meaty feast. I was completely satisfied with everything!

The shop is just a short walk from Shuntoku Road! The menu has a lot of options, and I had a hard time deciding, but I chose the salt ramen. The clear soup had a strong flavor of dried fish. The saltiness was just right and tasty. Compared to other ramen shops, the portion size seemed a bit small, so I thought it would be better to order rice or extra noodles.

Today, I visited Shuntokudo as a train enthusiast. I remember coming here before when the curry shop was still here. I decided to try the ramen and Chinese soba at Fukuhara. There were two people waiting in front of the shop, and it was a good thing I arrived at 11:50, as the line started to form soon after. I had visited their main shop in Imazato before and had the soy sauce ramen with extra noodles and boiled egg. This time, I opted for the dipping noodles. I ordered the rich dried fish dipping noodles for 980 yen with a medium serving of noodles (300g). The young manager and his assistant were working efficiently. The noodles were served promptly. The thick noodles looked delicious. The soup was very hot, so I couldn't really taste the seafood flavor at first. But once I mixed in the soup, it was really tasty. The aroma was also quite strong when I added the soup. I ended up finishing the soup as well. It was a great meal. Thank you!

The soup had a strong seafood flavor, but the noodles were delicious above all. The ingredients were simple, but the presentation with the neatly arranged noodles was visually appealing. Personally, I think adding a bit more black pepper would balance the flavors. The seafood was a little too fishy, so a palate cleanser is needed after eating. My companion ordered the tsukemen, which they said was the best they've ever had, so I'll try that next time.

Around 12:10 on Sunday, there were 5 people waiting outside. The chairs for waiting outside remained full for a while. By 1:00, there were no more people waiting outside. I ordered the Shio Ramen with light dried fish broth for ¥930. The first sip of the soup had a strong aroma and taste of dried fish oil. The clear soup had a low concentration as expected, with a subtle taste of anchovy. As the soup cooled down towards the end, I could taste a hint of sweetness after rinsing my mouth with water. The composition of the soup was standard and universal, but it fell a bit short of my high expectations. The noodles were medium-thin round noodles, resembling dry noodles in appearance. They were not the firm type but rather flexible. The noodles were tasty but standard in shape. The toppings included seaweed, onions, and a large piece of char siu. The char siu was tender with a slightly firm texture, retaining some meatiness. As a shio ramen, it lacked the usual sweetness, making it feel somewhat monotonous. I believe adding more sweetness in the toppings would make it even more captivating.

- Chuka Soba Fukuhara - Cold Inaniwa Udon from Shodoshima. ¥770. Arrived 10 minutes before opening. Was the 3rd in line. Ordered the Cold Inaniwa Udon, of course. The noodles are beautifully thin. No additional toppings. Quite bold. The soy sauce base with the flavor of Inaniwa is irresistible. The noodles are firm and have a great texture and mouthfeel. During lunch break at work, I visited the restaurant around 1 pm. It was full, so I had to wait in line for about 5 minutes before being seated. I ordered the special light soy sauce ramen in large size. The noodles were excellent, very smooth and easy to swallow. The soup was good, although I wished it had a bit more punch from the bonito flavor. The chashu pork slices were a bit thinner than I expected. The staff were great, especially the kitchen staff who were energetic and thanked us warmly. I had a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

This is my second visit, and if you ever feel like eating a dried fish-based Chinese ramen, you absolutely cannot miss this place!! Or rather, you shouldn't miss it!! I arrived around 11:30 am after the Bon holidays and there was a huge line in the scorching heat. I had to give up and go back, so this time I arrived at 1:15 pm and was able to be seated immediately with no wait. This time I ordered the Char Siu Shoyu Ramen with an additional seasoned egg topping. It cost around 1,350 yen. The clear soup, smooth noodles, and the four slices of Char Siu with a strong presence were excellent. There were two types of Char Siu, belly and shoulder, and they were so big that they almost covered the noodles, making a great visual impact. As soon as I tasted the soup, the elegant aroma of dried fish exploded in my mouth. I was captivated from that moment on. Then I slurped the noodles. The noodles seemed to be flat and smooth, and they matched perfectly with the light yet flavorful soup with dried fish oil. The noodles were smooth, moist, and irresistible. The Char Siu slices I sandwiched in between were tender and not too greasy, making it easy to eat as many slices as I wanted. I alternated between the soup and the Char Siu. The seasoned egg was also perfectly cooked with a runny yolk that absorbed the broth. It was not too strong or too light, just perfect. I kept eating with complete focus, or rather, I kept facing this bowl of ramen, and within less than 5 minutes, I finished it. I laughed and felt the need to revisit to experience the happiness of dried fish-based Chinese ramen again.

I want to eat delicious ramen noodles. My favorite nearby restaurants are Boya Tetsu's Chinese-style soy sauce ramen, Seiryu's cold Chinese noodles, and Fukuhara's cold noodles. When I arrived at Fukuhara, there were no customers waiting outside the restaurant. I hurriedly parked my car and walked quickly towards the restaurant. Upon arrival, there were four people waiting outside, who arrived at the same time as a group of three. Unfortunately, I don't like waiting in line, but since I had already parked my car in the parking lot, I reluctantly joined the line outside, becoming the 8th person in line. 8 minutes later, two elderly men arrived behind me, followed by two young men 10 minutes later. It was a busy restaurant indeed. When there is a wait, the system is to purchase a meal ticket first and then line up outside. While waiting outside, the staff collects the meal tickets and begins preparing the food before customers enter the restaurant. After 13 minutes, the group of four was seated, followed by the group of three after another 15 minutes. I waited for another 13 minutes while observing the inside of the restaurant. Finally, after a total of 13 minutes, the group of four left, and the preparations were complete. I entered the restaurant after waiting in the scorching sun. The cold water tasted delicious after waiting outside. Inside the restaurant, two of the three people in the group hadn't eaten anything. The noodles I ordered, "Shodoshima Iriko Cold Noodles," arrived after 12 minutes. It cost 770 yen, with an additional 100 yen for a large serving. The noodles were beautifully arranged, with only noodles and soup as ingredients, showing the confidence of the restaurant. First, I tasted the soup, which had a mild soy sauce flavor with the unique taste of iriko (dried baby sardines) as an accent. The iriko flavor was sharp and satisfying, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. Unlike cold udon noodles, this dish combined the umami of animal-based ingredients with a simple yet deep flavor. The noodles had an excellent texture and were refreshing without being too cold, allowing the flavor and aroma to be fully enjoyed. I savored the noodles and soup, finishing the meal in less than 5 minutes. Since I wanted to savor the lingering taste, I left without drinking water after the meal. It was a satisfying experience to enjoy delicious noodles and soup after a long time. I look forward to visiting again, perhaps to try the soy sauce ramen that I haven't had since my first visit. Thank you for the delicious ramen. As a final note, I was the only one allowed to enter the restaurant after the group of four left, while the two people who tried to enter after me were stopped and asked to wait outside. I wonder what the reason was for this. The two customers after me, two men around 70 years old, had to wait outside for about 9 minutes even though there were empty seats inside. Please let them enter when there are available seats and the cleanup is done. It's a small thing, but I felt sorry for them. Thank you for the delicious ramen.

Today, I visited "Menya Fukuhara" in Higashi Osaka, a place I had been curious about. I ordered the "Special Rich Fish Broth Tonkotsu Tsukemen" that looked delicious on social media. It took about 20 minutes to be ready, even though the place wasn't crowded, so I had to wait a bit. The rich soup was tasty at first, but it became too salty halfway through. I had some business in Takaida, so I stopped by on my way back. I think I ordered the special fish tsukemen. There are no good tsukemen shops near my house, so I always wish there was a place as delicious as Fukuhara. Every time I visit, I think about how high quality their ramen is. I visited the Chinese soba noodle restaurant Fukuhara near Shuntokumichi Station with my boss and female supervisor during our lunch break. We arrived right after the restaurant opened at 11am and managed to secure a seat in the air-conditioned interior. I ordered the Shio (salt) ramen with light fish broth, which was delicious. The seating is limited to counter seats only, and it quickly filled up.

I went on a little expedition! Following yesterday, I'm in ramen mode again. It was just recently opened, but it was already full in no time with only 3 people when I entered, and there was even a line forming outside! It's so popular! When the noodles arrived, they were chewy and delicious. The fish and pork bone soup was rich and satisfying. They had a pot of broth on the side, which was a nice touch, but maybe because it cooled down, mixing it with the soup was a bit off. However, I really liked the taste and presentation. I love noodles, so next time I'll come for the Chinese soba.

I wanted to eat the cold noodles I had last year so badly. I used to eat them during the scorching daytime, which made the coldness really penetrate my stomach, but I wondered how it would be at night. So this time, I visited the restaurant in the evening. The soup was just the right temperature, not too cold or lukewarm. The noodles had a good texture, smooth and chewy, with the flavor of the cold soup infused in them. The soup had no fishy smell, only a rich umami taste. Some might think that cold noodles without toppings are lacking, but this is the ultimate version. If you feel the need for toppings like chashu, you can add them too. The salted pork rice also went perfectly with the noodles. Drizzling some soup over it was also amazing. Fukuhara Chinese Soba @ Shuntoku-dori / Ajitama Tonkotsu Seafood Tsukemen Today is a day off from work, which is unusual for me, as I usually work on Tuesdays. I decided to go out and have some ramen to pass the time. I thought about exploring a different area that I don't usually visit, so I took the Kintetsu train from Uehommachi to Shuntoku-dori. I had been to Shuntoku-dori once before, but only to transfer to the JR line, so this time I wanted to explore the area. I originally planned to visit a different restaurant, but it was closed, so I ended up at Fukuhara. The restaurant is conveniently located right in front of the station, and luckily there was no line when I arrived. I purchased a ticket from the machine at the entrance, and while the specialty seemed to be the boiled fish, I decided to try the Ajitama Tonkotsu Seafood Tsukemen, considering the owner's background. I wanted to get the large portion, but considering my plans after the meal, I opted for the regular size. The Tsukemen took about 15 minutes to be served, but I wasn't in a hurry. The visual presentation was typical of a Tsukemen dish, with a thick and rich broth topped with fish powder. The soup was a rich and thick pork bone broth with a strong seafood flavor, although it was slightly on the salty side. The noodles were medium thickness and cooked slightly softer, which added a unique texture to the dish. The chashu was tender and had a tuna-like taste, which I enjoyed. The seasoned egg was also flavorful. Overall, I found the Ajitama Tonkotsu Seafood Tsukemen to be good, but not as amazing as some reviews had suggested. It was a solid bowl of Tsukemen, and I might try the recommended boiled fish version next time.

Arrived about 5 minutes late aiming for the Sunday opening, no waiting, ordered the Chashu pork bone and seafood tsukemen. The owner? politely informed each person that the tsukemen takes about 20 minutes due to cooking time, and then took our orders. No problem at all, as we came to eat delicious food. About 20 minutes later, the bowl arrived. The noodles were clean but not firm, with a loose texture similar to boiled udon. The soup was neither good nor bad. The hot noodles were disappointing, making it hard to come up with much of an opinion.
