I felt like eating pasta around Hibarigaoka, so I went to Primo, but they didn't have it, so I ended up at Goemon. I had the classic Genovese with avocado, shrimp, and mozzarella cheese. It was the usual good quality at Goemon, but it was a bit too salty.

The store is located in the suburbs, spacious and clean. I ordered a half-and-half pizza with half seared mentaiko butter and plenty of shrimp and mozzarella cheese in tomato cream. It comes with a soup with a Japanese-style broth. The half-and-half pizza is quite filling, so those with a small appetite may find it too much.

I had shrimp and broccoli with basil Genovese sauce. It was delicious! The pasta was cooked al dente. The olive oil and basil sauce had an Italian taste. The shrimp paired well with it. The broccoli was also good, making me feel like I had my share of green and yellow vegetables. Usually, I choose between carbonara and bolognese for spaghetti, but today I took a little risk and it paid off. I didn't want to waste any of the leftover sauce after finishing the meal. If there was bread, I would have cleaned the plate with it. Satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since my family had a meal together. It was too hot for soup curry nearby, so we crossed the street to come here. We used to eat soup curry often in the city, but this is our first time trying it in the suburbs. Due to the current situation, there were few staff members at the restaurant. Although customers were coming in, it felt like things weren't running smoothly. We looked at the menu and decided to go with the safe option of shrimp and mozzarella cheese in tomato cream sauce, which we had tried before. My family chose mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and pickled mustard greens. The soup was served first, but it didn't seem well mixed. It took almost 15 minutes for the food to arrive. We started eating and found that the shrimp was overcooked. The noodles were cooked just right. The tomato cream sauce was delicious, but the main shrimp was a bit disappointing. The mentaiko and pickled mustard greens looked more appetizing. Maybe we should have ordered pizza instead.

I was curious about Goyemon, a place with a very traditional Japanese name but serving Western-style pasta. I finally decided to try it out. I arrived before 5:00 PM and since there were no other customers, it was quite comfortable. I ordered the Healthy Pasta Set (seared cod roe butter + yogurt drink from Machimura Farm) and Pumpkin Creme Brulee with sweet potato ice cream. The Japanese-style salad was fitting for the name Goyemon, with a light dressing and a good balance of ingredients. The taste was pretty standard. The pasta, my main dish, had a nice buttery flavor and was very creamy and easy to eat. The seared cod roe on top was a bit tough, but when mixed with the noodles, it created a nice combination with the butter. The cod roe butter was really delicious. It would have been helpful if they provided a fork and spoon in addition to chopsticks. The yogurt drink from Machimura Farm was excellent. The creme brulee was also tasty, especially when mixed with the pumpkin for a unique flavor. Based on the checkout area, it seems that major credit cards are accepted here. I didn't see any signs for electronic money. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I will definitely come back when I crave pasta again.

Today's mood is a visit to a pasta restaurant after a long time. This place offers a variety of pasta dishes with a Japanese twist. I couldn't decide on one dish, so I ordered the half & half option where I could try two different pastas. I chose the pasta with avocado and tomato sauce, as well as the pasta with cod roe, shrimp, and shimeji mushrooms with a hint of shiso. Both dishes were delicious, but I wish there was more freedom to choose the combinations for the half & half option. Perhaps having different prices for each pasta would be a good idea.

I had lunch with my wife and son at Goemon, a Japanese-style spaghetti restaurant located along Atsubetsu Chuo-dori in Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo. It was crowded during lunchtime, but we were seated at a table without much of a wait. I ordered the half spaghetti & pie pizza set for myself and my son for 1300 yen. My wife ordered something related to autumn, but I forgot the name. I had the arlio olio with snow crab, shrimp, and karasumi, while my son had the carbonara with camembert cheese and crispy bacon, along with a margherita pizza. The set also came with soup and everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal, we will definitely come back again.

This time, I visited a pasta restaurant in Atsubetsu South 4-chome, near the intersection of National Route 274 and Atsubetsu Chuo-dori. The restaurant is quite crowded, with a shared parking lot for three shops. I parked my car there and entered the restaurant. I was seated at a table for two by a waitress, and I ordered the "Seared Tarako & Tarako Butter" spaghetti from the menu. First, a dashi soup was served, which had a good fish broth flavor but was a bit lacking in quantity. After a few minutes, the spaghetti arrived. The noodles were cooked al dente, and the tarako butter sauce made them easy to eat. However, the seared tarako was a bit difficult to eat, so I had to occasionally nibble on it while enjoying the dish. Despite being the cheapest spaghetti on the menu, the "Seared Tarako & Tarako Butter" was quite expensive, reaching a four-digit price. I hope they introduce a lunch menu with drinks included for less than 1,000 yen including tax.

"Natto spaghetti with mentaiko and spicy takana in Hakata-style butter flavor, featuring two types of natto: minced and small grains. Aglio e olio peperoncino with red snow crab, shrimp, and real karasumi, with a hint of shiso. Each dish comes with soup."
