At first glance, it's hard to tell if it's good or not. Last time I breathed fire with the Keema curry, so this time I chose a non-spicy tomato curry. The staff suggested a half and half option, but I declined, and regretted it a minute later. The curry had a decent amount, but the flavor wasn't that strong, and I got tired of it after eating about half. I should have listened to the advice of others. Next time, I'll order the half and half option.

The restaurant has a somewhat old-fashioned appearance, which might make it a bit intimidating to enter without prior knowledge. However, the curry menu offers a clear and reasonable pricing system, with options for single dishes or half-and-half combinations at half the price each. The spiciness levels are also clearly indicated, making it easy to choose. I ordered a level 3 spicy chicken curry and a mild tomato-based lal curry. The rice and curry are served separately, allowing you to customize your meal. The portion size is generous, and you can request a medium serving at no extra cost. The lal curry was mild with a hint of tomato acidity, while the chicken curry was flavorful with just the right level of spiciness. Even as someone who is not good with spicy food, I found the heat level to be manageable and was able to enjoy the flavors until the end. Including a set of iced chai for 120 yen, the total bill came to 960 yen.

I went to a curry restaurant with amazing cost performance. Surprisingly, you can get 3 types of curry for only 1000 yen (800 yen for a single dish! That's also cheap). There are 4 types of curry: Keema (spicy level 5), Chicken Curry (spicy level 3), Laal Curry (tomato curry, spicy level 1), and Hara Curry (spinach and tofu curry, spicy level 4). I wanted to try all 4 types, but the maximum is 3, so I ordered all except for the Hara Curry. The triple curry is not for Instagram, it's all about practicality! The presentation may look plain, like school lunches from the past, but it's actually quite refreshing. Despite the basic appearance, the taste is great! The spiciest is the Keema (level 5), but it's still manageable for most people. The contrast between the sweet Laal Curry and the spicy Keema is interesting. All the curries are very authentic Indian curry with richness, flavor, and spice. It was a great moment experiencing the essence of a longstanding curry establishment on a hot summer day.

I visited a curry restaurant that I had been curious about for the first time! As it was my first visit, I tried the triple curry to enjoy three different flavors. Personally, I thought the keema curry was incredibly delicious. I also added a lassi at the end, making it a relaxing lunch break.

After a long time, I visited Annapurna on a holiday around 12:00 pm. There was only one group of customers at the time, but later on, what seemed like regular customers started coming in. I ordered the usual chicken curry for 840 yen and a chai for 120 yen. Since I came earlier than usual that day, I noticed that the curry sauce was still quite thick and had a strong tomato taste. The chai was also delicious and had a generous serving.

I came to a restaurant near Osaka Tenmangu Shrine that serves authentic spicy curry. They offer a service called "triple ai-gake," which is very convenient. Today, I tried a combination of three types: keema, chicken, and hara. Each one had a distinct flavor - the keema was rich and flavorful, the chicken was packed with chicken essence, and the hara was incredibly spicy. It was a simple yet delicious meal. Thank you for the feast!

I went to "Annapurna" at Osaka Tenmangu Shrine at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. It's a pretty old-fashioned place. It's run by a man alone. These kinds of places always have delicious food. I ordered the "Half & Half" with "Keema Curry (800 yen)" and "Chicken Curry (840 yen)". It arrived in 8 minutes. I took a bite of the "Keema Curry". Delicious. It's a Keema Curry with plenty of minced meat. It's spicy and makes your mouth tingle. This seems to be the spiciest curry at this restaurant. I took a bite of the "Chicken Curry". Delicious. The chicken is simmered to perfection. It has a hint of sweetness from the tomatoes and a good level of spiciness. It's labeled as medium spicy but it's quite spicy. It's an original Indian curry that's not like typical spice curry or Western-style curry. Despite their strong commitment to quality, the prices are very reasonable. I'm hooked. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Keema curry set for 800 yen, chai for 120 yen. Located right near Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. Initially planned to go to a different curry restaurant, but it was closed so ended up at this place. The keema curry is quite spicy but has a rich flavor and is delicious. It's a bit oily though. The chai is quite sweet and served in a pot, which feels like a good deal. The owner is also a nice person.

I visited the long-established curry restaurant, Annapurna, in Minamisono-cho. The exterior looks quite old, but once inside, I was surprised by the cleanliness and neatness. I ordered a half-and-half of Keema curry and Lal curry. The Keema had a rich minced meat texture and a strong spiciness that kicks in later. The Lal curry had a wonderful balance of tomato acidity and chicken umami. The rice portion was quite generous, cooked slightly soft. The curry sauce was plentiful, creating a nice balance. I look forward to trying something different next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Half Keema and half Hara. Both had the chili mark, and by the time I finished eating, I was sweating. Keema (chili level 4) had a lot of meat visible, so it felt like a meaty dish. Hara (chili level 3) had spinach and tofu. I couldn't really taste the spinach, but the tofu was gentle, and it seemed a bit bland to me. Maybe it's because I've been eating a lot of spicy curries lately?

I ordered the Triple menu which allows you to choose 3 types of curry for 1,000 yen (tax included). The options were: Harakaree (spinach and tofu, spicy), Keema curry (beef and pork mince, extra spicy), and Chicken curry (bone-in chicken, medium spicy). I also had a cup of chai for 120 yen (tax included) which was a great deal. Thank you for the delicious meal, Annapurna-san!

I was too eager and failed to adjust the timing properly... I arrived around 11:05 and found that the restaurant was already open at 11:00. I sat at the counter seat with no other customers around. I hesitated a bit but the minced meat curry looked delicious, so I ordered a half and half of Keema curry and Hara curry, with a lassi as a backup. The food was served in about 2 minutes... The Keema curry was spicy! It was so spicy that I couldn't taste the minced meat at all... The Hara curry was a bit milder but still too spicy, and I couldn't really taste the spinach or tofu. The lassi was average and didn't really help to neutralize the spiciness. I tried mixing the curry with the rice but it was no use, it was too spicy to finish. I paid 920 yen in cash and left most of the food uneaten... Time to head south.

There is a curry restaurant located in the area between Temma Station and Osaka Tenmangu Station. The exterior has an old-fashioned feel to it. They offer four types of curry: Keema Curry, Chicken Curry, Laal Curry, and Hara Curry. I ordered a half & half of Keema Curry and Chicken Curry. The curry is served on a stainless steel plate with pickled carrots and cucumbers on the side. Both curries have a rich flavor with a good balance of sweetness and spices. The Chicken Curry has bone-in chicken which adds to the flavor. The Keema Curry has a strong meaty flavor, although it can be a bit greasy. Overall, the curries are delicious and authentic. The prices are reasonable, the service is fast, and you can easily enjoy authentic Japanese spiced curry. Highly recommended!

Annapurna is the collective name for a group of 7000m high mountains in Nepal, with the highest peak being considered the most dangerous mountain in the world. It is known as the Killer Mountain, as 30% of climbers lose their lives attempting to summit it, compared to only 3% for Everest. The owner of the restaurant, which takes its name from this treacherous mountain, has a cool and seasoned vibe, reflected in the restaurant's appearance and atmosphere. Osaka Spice, which has been in business for 20 years, is a top-notch establishment. The Chicken and Keema combo for 760 yen is served within a minute of ordering. A top-ranking restaurant like this must excel not only in taste but in all aspects, making it a cool choice. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at the restaurant around 12:30 for lunch. Despite the light rain, the restaurant was about 70% full, so I was able to enter without waiting. There were two staff members, a friendly-looking manager(?) and a young female server, who seemed busy. I ordered the Chicken Curry & Spinach and Tofu Curry for 740 yen, with an extra large portion for 100 yen, and a lassi for 100 yen, for a total of 940 yen. The rice was generously served in a large portion, which was very reasonable. As for the taste, it was delicious! The chicken curry had bone-in chicken wings that were tender. The spinach and tofu curry had a medium level of spiciness, which was just right and easy to eat. I would definitely want to visit again when I'm in the area.

I arrived at the restaurant at 12:20 after having curry at a different place for the first stop. The restaurant was crowded, but I found a seat at the counter. I ordered the Keema curry with less rice. The curry arrived in about 2 minutes. It was marked as the spiciest on the menu, but I didn't feel the depth of the spices much, probably because I had spicy curry at the previous place. It was definitely spicy though! There was a notice about a price increase starting in May when I paid. I would like to try the Aigake curry next time. Thank you for reading until the end! If you liked it, saved it, or followed me, it would be a great encouragement for me. Thank you!

In the vicinity of Minamison Machi, I felt like eating curry and since the restaurant I was aiming for was full, I decided to visit here. "Annapurna" is a collective term for a range of mountains in the central part of the Himalayas, about 50 km east to west, belonging to the Himalayan mountain range in Nepal. The name of the restaurant, "Annapurna," doesn't really give away much from the outside, with only a yellow roof visible. The entrance had a retro feel, and I hesitated a bit before entering. Inside, the restaurant was quaint and small. The layout had a retro Chinese restaurant vibe to it. The staff, an older man and woman, were managing the place. The decorations gave off a somewhat Indian vibe. The basic menu consisted of 4 options: - Keema Curry (minced meat curry) for 740 yen - Chicken Curry (bone-in chicken curry) for 780 yen - Laal Curry (tomato-based chicken curry) for 780 yen - Hara Curry (spinach and tofu curry) for 740 yen They also offer options like Half & Half (half price + half price) and Triple (1000 yen). While spice curries have become a bit pricey lately, the prices here were reasonable and down-to-earth. They offered a free upgrade to a medium serving of rice, and a large serving for an additional 100 yen. I tried the Half Keema and Chicken Curry with a medium serving of rice. The curry that arrived was served on a single plate, with the curry and rice separated, giving it a simple feel. The Chicken Curry was mild, while the Keema was a bit spicy and flavorful. The spiciness gradually crept up, giving it a well-cooked, slightly spicy curry taste. It's not quite the trendy spicy curry, but more of a traditional, spiced curry. Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered an additional chai. While it's priced at 300 yen when ordered alone, they served it in a pot for just 100 yen when added to the curry. It was heartwarming and delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness. I hope they continue with this kind of service in the future. Thank you for the meal.

In the competitive curry district of Minamimorimachi in Osaka, there is a hidden gem of a curry shop called "Annapurna." The storefront shade is worn out and patched up, but inside, it has a rustic mountain hut vibe. The name Annapurna means "goddess of abundance" in Sanskrit. The curry is rich and flavorful, with a thick texture and a deep taste of vegetables. The rice is cooked firm and delicious. They offer options like Hara Curry (spinach and tofu) for 740 yen and Lal Curry (chicken in tomato base) for 780 yen. You can also get a half-and-half combination for under 1000 yen, which is very reasonable. The curry may not look fancy, but it is delicious and perfect for those who just want a good meal. The homemade pickles and silverware add to the authentic experience. While Japanese rice may be a better match for the curry, it would be even better with Basmati rice. Overall, the hot and hearty curry at Annapurna is a must-try for curry lovers.

I have been wanting to try the curry here for a while now. It was my first time and I was a bit unsure, so I chose the Keema curry and the Triple option where you can choose from 3 types of curry. The server said, "Keema, Chicken curry, Laal, right?" We asked about the Harra and were told it was sold out. It was a unique experience. After a while, the 3 curries were placed in front of us without any explanation. It would have been nice to have a brief description, especially for first-timers.
- Laal Curry: A tomato-based chicken curry. It was mildly spicy, flavorful, and delicious. Not for those who like spicy food, but I would recommend it the most out of the 3.
- Keema Curry: It gradually gets spicier. The minced meat has a unique flavor, with a faint aroma similar to mutton. The smell and aftertaste were a bit off-putting.
- Chicken Curry: As the name suggests, it mainly consists of bone-in chicken. The chicken was tender and well-flavored. It had a different level of spiciness compared to the Keema.
- Rice: The portion was quite generous, maybe because it was a Triple option. The rice was surprisingly soft. The pickles were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

For the second curry lunch spot on a regular day, I went to Annapurna near Osaka Tenmangu Shrine. Last time, I had a triple of Keema Curry, Chicken Curry, and Laru Curry, so this time I opted for a triple of Keema Curry, Hara Curry, and Laru Curry! It was like trading Chicken Curry for Laru Curry this time (laughs). The triple curry arrived in about 5 minutes. Pickles also came in a small dish (o^^o). The Keema Curry had the usual meaty texture and a nice level of spiciness ♥️ Hara Curry, at first, seemed mild with tofu but the spiciness gradually crept up! And the Laru, a first for me, had a mild curry flavor with just the right amount of tomato acidity, and eating it alternately with Keema and Hara really enhanced the taste (*´༥`*)♡ This triple set cost exactly 1000 yen, maintaining its great value as always. I didn't order it this time, but if you order it with curry, Chai or Lassi is only 100 yen, and Mango Lassi is 120 yen, which is a super deal, so I definitely want to try it next time if I have the chance to revisit (о´∀`о) Thank you for the meal m(_牛_)m
