Once you try eating it this way, you won't want to just remove the string anymore! Some people say it's a waste, but peeling all the skin off makes it taste completely different and delicious... When you go to Hokkaido, be sure to buy Royce Potato Chip Chocolate! I also tried Royce soft serve ice cream at Chitose Airport, but Royce! I love it so much. It was a hassle to eat the globefish, but it was chewable and tasty, with a slightly salty taste. It was a good meal, even though my wife wasn't home to cook.

I bought a 200g bag of coffee beans from Ooyuki Coffee, which doesn't have a physical store. The package indicates the acidity and bitterness levels, and it lived up to my expectations. They have single-serve drip packs in about 20 varieties, featuring Hokkaido-themed animals and landscapes on the packaging. They are a bit pricey, but quite lovely. In addition to coffee beans, they also offer various flavored teas and small snacks.
