I always wanted to try the chanko nabe restaurant, but it was far from my home in Toyonaka and the timing never seemed to work out. The restaurant only offers one type of chanko nabe, but the broth is delicious and the ingredients are large and very tasty. I couldn't drink alcohol because I drove there, but it was the best nabe I've ever had! ✨

I revisited a restaurant that I have been using for a long time with my parents after a long time. It's a good idea to call ahead to check for availability, as there may be a wait depending on the season or time. The menu consists of only one dish, called "Yokozuna Kaneshige Nabe," which is a type of chanko hot pot. The light soup is filled with ingredients such as chicken, octopus, clams, fish balls, vegetables, and udon noodles, all added to the pot by the staff. When eating, you can pour the soup into sesame seeds that you have ground yourself and add lemon juice to taste. I personally like to add a bit more lemon juice. The meal is very filling, but the soup, packed with the flavors of various ingredients, makes the finishing rice porridge (available for an additional charge) incredibly delicious. I highly recommend enjoying it until the end. I will definitely visit again.

On the way back from my Shikoku trip, I had dinner in Osaka. Here are the rules: - Make a reservation 30 minutes before arrival - Menu is only one option: Yokozuna Kansei Nabe (Chanko Nabe) for ¥3,850 - Limited dining time of 60 minutes - Maximum of 2 drinks per person Despite the 60-minute time limit, as soon as we sat down, the hot pot was prepared by the staff. It's recommended to sit at the counter for a speedy experience. We were able to start eating just 6 minutes after sitting down, very efficient! If you want to take a picture of the initial presentation, be quick because the meal progresses fast. The soup was delicious, especially when mixed with sesame and seaweed. You can keep getting more soup poured in, so no need to worry about running out! The mochi at the end was also tasty, I wish they had it in Nagoya too. I would love to visit this entertaining and wonderful restaurant again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

I was taken to a chanko restaurant for the first time in my life and was told to start with the soup. I tried the soup, which was very gentle on the stomach and incredibly delicious, making me feel like I could drink it forever. Despite feeling a bit unwell in my stomach, as I continued to eat, my condition improved, and I ended up even drinking cold sake. The hot pot changed from meat to seafood, vegetables, and finally the finishing dish, each one so different that it was hard to believe they all came from the same soup. The variety and lack of monotony in the dishes made me feel like the meal was truly well thought out. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

I came to a chanko nabe specialty restaurant in Toyonaka! This place serves delicious hot pot with great ingredients and broth. Today, the shrimp and clams were particularly fresh and tasty! I was impressed by the zosui (rice soup) at the end, which I finally managed to try. I always end up too full to try it, but the zosui made with this broth is gentle and delicious. And all of this for under 4000 yen, Osaka is truly amazing!

Osaka Toyonaka [Tatsunami Ichiban] Tabelog 3.70━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Store Information✍️2-1-6 Shonai Higashi-cho, Toyonaka-shi, Osaka06-6334-6227Reservation available (only 30 minutes before arrival)Business hours 16:30-20:30 (LO)Open on SundaysClosed on MondaysAll seats non-smokingCounter seats, tables, total of 36 seatsBudget ¥4,000-¥5,000━━━━━━━━━━━━━━・Yokozuna Kansei Nabe for 2 people (additional)・Matsuyama fried food・Chicken, shrimp, octopus, zosui x2This restaurant only serves chanko-nabe, which is impressive in itself.I made a reservation 30 minutes before arriving, and when I was seated at the counter, a large pot with ingredients was already prepared! There were various ingredients such as back liver and sardine balls, chicken, rice cakes, clams, eggplant, octopus, tofu, enoki mushrooms, aburaage, and Chinese cabbage, among others. I heard there are about 23 types of ingredients...The soup is carefully made from over 10 ingredients and simmered for 5 hours. No wonder it's so delicious! There was a small mortar and sesame seeds for each person at the table. Each person could grind their own sesame seeds to their liking. Then, a plate was provided for each person. The staff carefully prepared the ingredients in a specific order in front of us.First, I tried just the broth. Delicious! The process of making the hot pot consisted of four rounds: meat, seafood, vegetables, udon, and rice cakes. It was fun to see how the taste of the broth changed each time.Matsuyama fried food, which is imported from Ehime, was highly recommended, so I added it midway through. It's so popular that some people come here just for this dish! While udon is commonly thought of as the closing dish, the closing dish here is zosui! It costs ¥495 per person. The zosui was incredibly delicious...Some people might not have enough room in their stomachs to reach the closing dish, but it would be a shame not to eat it!⚠️As a rule of the restaurant, seating is limited to one hour. Reservations are only accepted 30 minutes before (automatic cancellation if even 1 minute late). Alcohol is limited to 2 drinks. There are many rules, but since I eat quickly and don't need alcohol, it's not a problem. Some people may not make it to the closing dish within the time limit, but the deliciousness is top-notch, so I definitely want to visit again! They also offer takeout for the soup, so it might be nice to enjoy it at home. The total bill was about ¥6,000 per person!Thank you for the meal! #GourmetGirls #Tabelog #GourmetInstagram #ConnectWithGourmetLovers #GourmetTour #KansaiGourmet #GourmetTrip #LoveEating #Top100Restaurants #Lunch #HighlyRatedTabelog #ConnectWithFoodLovers #FollowMe #♥ #OsakaGourmet #FamousRestaurant #TatsunamiIchiban #ChankoNabe #ReservationRequired #TabelogRating3.5OrHigher #VerySatisfied #ThankYouForTheMeal # ===========

Chanoko-nabe Tatsunami Ichiban is a famous restaurant known for its delicious chanoko-nabe (hot pot) located in Shonai. It is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Shonai Station. They do not accept reservations in advance, but you can make a reservation on the day of your visit starting 30 minutes before your desired time, which is quite a unique system nowadays. The signature dish is the Yokozuna Kinsei Nabe, priced at 3,850 yen per person. The meal includes octopus and cucumber vinegar as a starter, and for drinks, they offer simple and plain sour cocktails. The ice in the drinks is shaped like a heart, which is a cute touch. When you arrive at the restaurant, the hot pot is already set up with a generous amount of ingredients for four people, including tofu, clams, shrimp, eggplant, chicken meatballs, cabbage, rice cakes, fried tofu, octopus, pumpkin, and more. The staff will cook the hot pot for you, so all you have to do is enjoy the meal. Each person gets a small mortar with green onions and sesame seeds as a dipping sauce. The freshly pounded rice cakes are delicious. The clams produce a flavorful broth, and the udon noodles are included as well. After enjoying the meal, we left within an hour of the hot pot being served. It might be a bit rushed if you try to talk a lot while eating. The restaurant also offers takeout for the hot pot ingredients and soup. It seemed like a popular spot among locals. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience at Tatsunami Ichiban.

I was recommended this restaurant, which is in the top 5000, by a friend and decided to visit. Reservations can be made 30 minutes before the visit! They hold the seats for 30 minutes. The restaurant was full even on this day. It's a one-hour limit, and you can have up to 2 drinks per person! There were three of us, so we ordered three servings of chanko nabe. It was filled with seafood and various ingredients. The staff added ingredients as needed and advised on the best timing for a delicious taste. Sprinkle some green seaweed and sesame, mix it with the soup, and it's the best taste. The one hour passed quickly, and we were too full to have the finishing rice porridge. [Plenty of volume] [Taste of happiness] Thank you for the meal!

I made a reservation 30 minutes ago before visiting. The restaurant was full and lively. The menu had only one option: chanko-nabe! I ordered a draft beer and waited for a while. The staff cooked efficiently. The soup had a gentle flavor with a strong chicken taste. There were plenty of ingredients, including octopus, shrimp, and clams, all of which were large. In particular, the clams were firm and satisfying to eat, very delicious. The staff were efficient and made the experience enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

Visited this restaurant recently, which made it into the top 5000 on Tabelog with an overall rating of 3.70. I ordered two servings of the "Yokozuna Kinsei Nabe" for 3,850 yen each, and also tried the "Zosui" for 495 yen. I was impressed by the fact that this restaurant, specializing in just one dish (chanko nabe), managed to make it into the top 5000 among many noodle shops. The system of making reservations by phone starting 30 minutes before the scheduled visit time was quite unique. The staff informed me that there were two available seats when I called to confirm, so I arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes later. The menu is simple, with only the Yokozuna Kinsei Nabe available. The cooking process was quick, with the ingredients being cooked in four stages - meat, seafood, vegetables, and udon/mochi. The quality of the ingredients, such as shrimp and clams, was impressive. The broth was indeed delicious, as many reviews had mentioned. While I have visited many chanko nabe restaurants based on word of mouth recommendations in the past, this one stood out by far in terms of taste. However, I didn't feel a strong urge to visit repeatedly, as the experience lacked a certain charm. Overall, it was a good dining experience, but with this budget, there are other options I might consider exploring in the future.

In a hurry to Osaka for an errand, I searched nearby for dinner and found this place. When I called, they said they accept reservations starting 30 minutes before arrival. I called at 5 o'clock and reserved a table for 5 people at 5:30. The only menu option was Chanko (around 3,700 yen) with various additional options. Upon arrival, I informed them that one person would be 15 minutes late, but they said they wouldn't start until everyone arrived. While waiting, we enjoyed beer and appetizers, using the mortar and pestle to grind sesame as makeshift plates. The restaurant was clean and had a sumo atmosphere with sumo chants playing in the background. Despite being in a residential area, the clientele seemed relatively sophisticated, with some young and attractive female customers. Once the latecomer arrived, we finally started. A large bowl filled with an abundance of ingredients was served, making for a great photo opportunity. The staff took care of the hot pot, which not only looked good but tasted delicious as well. The clams, fish balls, and chicken all provided rich flavors. They even made porridge for us, making the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. We finished exactly one hour after starting, feeling satisfied in every way. This restaurant truly lived up to its reputation as a local gem. I left feeling content and grateful for the meal. Thank you.

I thought the time limit was only 1 hour, but it's a place where you can be fully satisfied. The ingredients are amazing! The clams and shrimp are huge, and there's even a super rare cut of meat called Segimo. The udon noodles were also delicious. The flavor is salt chanko, and it was so tasty to eat it with plenty of sesame and seaweed. Ritsurouichiban in Toyonaka serves delicious chanko-nabe, a hot pot dish popular among locals and visitors. The restaurant is always busy, with a line of customers waiting to try their hearty chanko-nabe, which is loved in both winter and summer. The dish is filled with a variety of ingredients, including large pieces of chicken and flavorful chicken liver. Other ingredients like shrimp, tender octopus, clams, and plenty of vegetables are also included. The broth is rich and satisfying, especially when topped with plenty of sesame seeds. I look forward to visiting this restaurant regularly in the future.

I heard there was an incredibly delicious chanpon noodle shop, so I flew over to try it out. And it was true (laughs). Taniguchi is truly amazing. The ingredients are exceptionally delicious!! The sourcing is top-notch! Starting with the creamy and sweet pumpkin, and the Matsuyama tempura is unbelievably fluffy and delicious!! The broth also gets better with each bite. And all of this for 3500 yen is amazing! I will definitely be coming back for more.

On my second visit, it had been a while since my last visit so I had forgotten the taste, but as soon as I took a sip of the soup, I remembered the deliciousness of the chanko. Even though my stomach was about to explode from drinking during the day, I am a food logger. I gathered my strength and enjoyed the taste again! The seaweed and sesame in the soup were a nice accent, and the abundant ingredients of meat and seafood were incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal! I would like to visit again!

Invited by a friend, I went here on Saturday night. I made a reservation before getting on the train at Hankyu Umeda Station. The reservation went smoothly. When I entered, chanko broth was prepared for us. Then, a luxurious array of ingredients arrived. I ground white sesame and seaweed and added them to the broth. I took a sip of the broth first. Oh my goodness, this is amazing. As you can see, the ingredients are very luxurious, so I was completely satisfied. It was so delicious.

It is located right near Hankyu Shonai Station East Exit. There are many tables and tatami seats in the back. There were customers who seemed to be former sumo wrestlers. The clams were very large! The shrimp was also big. There were also vegetables included. Only the girls had sour drinks with heart-shaped ice ♡ Cute. In addition to the regular thin fried tofu, we also ordered "Matsuyama fried tofu". The meal was finished with udon and mochi, but we also ordered porridge as an extra. How much are you going to eat!! Even more than a sumo wrestler (laughs) It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It is a spacious restaurant with two table seats, three tatami seats, and ten counter seats. The staff puts an appropriate amount of ingredients in the pot, making it easy to eat. The main ingredients include meatballs, chicken, shrimp, and various types of seafood. The broth is also very delicious. It is a restaurant that I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
