The lantern light shines brightly, making it stand out as I headed towards Penny Lane. After a live performance, I decided to stop by around 10:30 pm, just before the last order at 10 pm. I ordered a "Premium Malt" beer for 605 yen, served in a thin glass with a delicious taste. The "otōshi" appetizer for 308 yen was grated daikon radish with yuzu ponzu sauce. I also tried the "shishitō" peppers for 198 yen, which were fresh and perfectly cooked with miso paste. The "pork belly shiso roll" for 330 yen was a bit pricey for one piece, but it was large and tasty. The "cheese peppers" for 385 yen were stuffed with cheese and wrapped in pork belly, very filling and delicious. The "pekoro" for 308 yen was well-cooked with a sweet onion flavor. I also had a refill of "kaku highball" for 495 yen. Overall, the grilled dishes were all delicious with perfect cooking. I enjoyed the Cheese Peppers and would like to try more side dishes next time. Thank you, Chidori-an!

It's been a while since I had a dinner meeting in Sapporo. It was also a long time since I drank in Koto-ni. For the first place, we went to a restaurant near Koto-ni subway station. We sat at a table with a sunken hearth and ordered a variety of skewers. You can order just one skewer at a time, so you can choose only what you want to eat. The skewers were all large, so be careful not to order too many. The seating was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was busy and the kitchen seemed to be working hard, but the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Subway Kinshicho 5th exit, 30 seconds walk, a charcoal grill skewer restaurant with lanterns lining up outside, anyone can easily enter. The exterior of the restaurant is inviting, but the interior is a calm space with jazz music playing. They serve a good-smelling Premium Malt beer for 550 yen, with a special thin glass. The appetizer is daikon with ponzu sauce for 280 yen. The skewers are simple yet delicious. I ordered 4 skewers to start with to see the quality and freshness. The chicken skewers were grilled seriously by the skilled chef through the glass, showing great potential. The chicken tenderloin with wasabi for 280 yen was tender and flavorful, with a perfect saltiness and a hint of wasabi. The asparagus wrapped in pork for 280 yen was juicy and sweet, with a nice crunch. The gizzard for 150 yen had a good texture. The cheese and green pea pod for 330 yen was innovative and delicious, with a generous amount of cheese inside the green pea pod, creating a perfect combination of bitterness, saltiness, and sweetness. The skewers were really tasty, and other dishes seemed promising. However, there were no other guests present, and the waitstaff, with long nails and nail polish, made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. The service itself was fine. Thank you for the meal.

Cheese-filled meat and green pepper skewers, known as "Cheese-P," are a great value at 330 yen. Despite rising prices, this dish is packed with cheese and has a satisfying amount of food. The skewers are lined up along the snow-covered path, adorned with colorful lantern decorations. This yakitori izakaya offers a wide variety of options, and the cozy counter seating is quite nice. It's commendable that they are able to stay open with such a well-prepared setup in these challenging times. The sharp-eyed owner and the numerous young staff provide attentive service. Enjoy a cold beer and delicious skewers like the tomato bacon skewers, flavorful heart skewers, and juicy pork skewers. The harmony of flavors in dishes like the asparagus rolls and the chicken skewers with leeks is irresistible. The perfectly grilled chicken breast skewers and the refreshing shiso flavor make you crave another beer. The meal includes a spicy grated radish appetizer, followed by a variety of skewers such as pork, chicken, and vegetables. The seasonal motsunabe hot pot menu is also tempting. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for the feast.

I think the yakitori restaurant "Koto Nise" is the most delicious. My companion ordered chicken rice, which I secretly thought was a strange choice. However, when I tried a bite, it was exquisite! As a fan of chicken hearts, the ones at this restaurant are the best. Oh, the photo of the hearts is halfway eaten, but actually there are four skewers!

It's a few minutes' walk from Kotoni Station. This was our second stop of the night. We ate way too much at the first place and were feeling pretty uncomfortable, but someone wanted to drink sake, so we came here. It was a Sunday and we were having trouble finding a place that served sake. There was no all-you-can-drink option, so we ordered individual drinks. They didn't have the fruity sake I like, so I tried something more girly - a peach plum wine called "Mizore". I couldn't even bring myself to drink beer because I was so full. It was like drinking alcohol sherbet - I ate it slowly as it melted. To be polite, we ordered a few more drinks and some delicious skewers. You can order them one by one. The prices were a bit high, but since we didn't eat much, if we ever drink in Kotoni again, we'd consider coming back to this place for our first stop. The interior was clean and we felt safe dining here even during these times. It was all about the alcohol - we had two drinks each and some light food, and it came to a little over 8000 yen for three people.

- Chicken skin with yuzu ponzu, 480 yen (excluding tax) Thick and crispy skin, very delicious! Goes well with grated daikon radish! A bit too much for one person though. - Celery pickles, 380 yen (excluding tax) No bitterness in the celery... might be good for those who don't like it, but a bit lacking in flavor! - White liver with salt (limited quantity), 350 yen (excluding tax) Tasty, but is wasabi really necessary? It's a limited item, but declaring its own quality seems disappointing. Also, even if wasabi is needed, it should be a bit less... the spiciness of the wasabi is too strong. - Chicken heart, 190 yen (excluding tax) Lacks flavor... doesn't taste like anything. Maybe an issue with the salt sprinkling? - Chicken tail, 150 yen (excluding tax) Decently fatty and delicious! - Chicken tenderloin, 240 yen (excluding tax) The mysterious miso green onion is not tasty. If this miso was spicy miso, it might be different, but the sweet miso with sesame is lacking, and it's not clear if it's chicken tenderloin or something else! - Stewed giblets (limited from October to April), 530 yen (excluding tax) Relatively clean stew with few giblets, doesn't feel worth the price. - Potato with salted fish roe, 450 yen (excluding tax) The potatoes are hard (insufficient cooking), and the amount of salted fish roe is slightly lacking, disappointing. - Chicken breast (plum and shiso), 280 yen (excluding tax) The inside is rare chicken breast, plum and shiso is the right choice! Light and delicious! This is where it beats ○ Tori! - Chicken rice in a pot, 730 yen (excluding tax) Comes with chicken bone soup. Overall sweet seasoning, losing to ○ Tori! The taste is monotonous, so some condiments are needed! Thank you for the meal.

I was drawn to the delicious negima and went early in the evening. There were counter seats and raised tatami seating. There were also private rooms in the back. We ordered heart, negima, white liver, and chicken wings first. The seasoning was very meticulous. The chicken was tender and delicious. The liver had a refined taste without any unpleasant odor. We switched to wine halfway through and enjoyed cheese and peas. I found a great restaurant. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go again.

It's similar to a shamisen... I was planning to visit "Shakotan", but even though it was during business hours, the shop was not open. I wandered around nearby and returned, but it still seemed to be preparing. Next door, I decided to go to "Charcoal Grilled Skewers Chidori-an" instead. I saw on Tabelog that the owner was highly praised. It was past 5:30 PM when I arrived. There was one group of two customers already there, and one customer arrived after me. I sat in the corner of the counter. I realized after entering that the interior was the same as the previous shop. I started with the "Yuzu Pon" skewer, which was refreshing and tasty. I wanted more, so I ordered a beer (Premium Malt) for now. The condition was decent. I tried the skewers recommended by the owner: Negima @250, Liver (with sansho pepper) @200, Tanuki (stuffed shiitake mushroom) @280, Pork skewer @290. Each skewer was served one by one in small dishes as they were grilled. The Negima was large and had a substantial amount of chicken thigh meat with a firm texture. The liver (with sansho pepper) was tender and the seasoning was not too sweet or too spicy, but the sansho pepper might be a matter of personal preference. I had never heard of Tanuki (stuffed shiitake mushroom) before, but it was easy to eat with no off-flavors and a light saltiness. The Pork skewer was intense and a must-try for those from Muroran, known for pork skewers. The size was large with a firm texture. When asked if I wanted mustard, I couldn't pass up the service of a "Corn skewer". It didn't have a special taste, but it was a dish that required effort. I had a second serving of "Katana" sake @620, from Hanabusa Shuzo in Shizuoka Prefecture. It was my first time trying it, and although the label said "super dry", it was only slightly spicy (+2). It had no off-flavors, a refreshing taste, and was easy to drink with a slightly fruity mouthfeel. I would recommend it to those who want to learn about sake, but there is little information online, and I wonder about the source of procurement. Is it purchased directly from the brewery? The price for one cup was a good deal, but can this establishment become established in the down-to-earth area of Konoe? The skewers were all of high quality with meticulous work, but in a place like Konoe, where you can find reasonably good shops for half the price, it may be challenging to establish this kind of establishment. The bill came to around 2,500 yen for 4 skewers and 2 drinks. It might work in Susukino, but whether it can become established in the very down-to-earth area of Kotoni is the real test. Thank you for the meal.

Counter seats with a variety of skewered dishes, I was surprised by the freshness and volume of the meat! The perfect balance of charred from the charcoal grill. Among them, the Negima was outstanding! The meat was juicy and the leeks were sweet. It was fantastic! It was crowded on a Friday night and we were told we could only stay for 2 hours, but with the delicious food and drinks, we ended up staying for 2.5 hours. The owner even served us more, but I wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely want to visit again.

The meal service is slow. It seems like they are serving food that has been prepared a while ago. Many dishes are overcooked and it's hard to believe they use fresh ingredients. The chicken liver was smelly and unappetizing. There are other restaurants that offer tastier food at a more affordable price. Overall, it feels like they lack attention to detail in their cooking. Maybe it was just a bad day when I visited, but I won't be going back. I wonder if they will make improvements in their food preparation and seasoning.

A clean and beautiful interior with a glass counter displaying skewers of chicken... Looks delicious. The sake selection is also extensive, making it a favorite spot for me. The skewers and sake were delicious, and I definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant twice, once on a Saturday evening before a long holiday weekend (18-20h) and once on a weekday night in mid-May (21-22h). When I called to make a reservation for two on Saturday, I asked what kind of seats were available, and was told there was either a counter or a table in a sunken kotatsu style. I chose the counter and sat there with an old friend. In front of us, there was a glass case with neatly arranged skewers like at a sushi restaurant, already prepped and ready to eat. We ordered items like white liver, pork skewers, chicken skewers, and heart skewers. The young female staff member who served us was very polite and I appreciated her service. Each skewer was cooked to perfection, with the meat's deliciousness shining through, making me feel like this place was on a different level compared to a regular yakitori restaurant. Despite this, the prices were not too high, and all the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming to women, with about 80% of the customers being female on Saturday nights and an equal split between men and women on weekday nights. The private room in the back was lively with 5-6 women. I thought this place would be great for spending time with loved ones, whether with a significant other or with family. I am happy that a restaurant like this has opened in Kotoni, but at the same time, I hope it doesn't become too popular.

This is a review of a yakitori restaurant in Kinneicho that I think is the most delicious right now. Two drinking sisters came with me. They don't eat much, but they drink about three times more alcohol than normal people, so the bill ends up being higher than usual (laughs). First, we cheers with beer and highball. We order items like salted white liver and soft bone, which are really delicious yakitori. The texture and cooking of the yakitori are great. The yakitori goes well with the alcohol. We shift to wine later, with a Cabernet Sauvignon that is very easy to drink. We enjoy it. We might have gone a bit overboard with the alcohol, so we'll have to moderate it (laughs). We'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
