Today I bought sesame dumplings at Kitano Sweets. I was torn between soy sauce and kinako, but ended up choosing sesame. The dumplings were bigger than I expected. The taste was quite ordinary. It cost ¥450 including tax. Maybe I should have gotten them soft instead.

I went to K.L.I.M in Kiyota the day before, and today I went to K.L.I.M in Chitose. I chose Kitano SWEETS this time. The waffles here are highly recommended. I had the Nutella Strawberry waffle, which was thick, soft, and creamy. Even though I had just eaten, I surprisingly found room for it and devoured it. It was so delicious that I might want to try all the waffles they offer eventually.

The visual impact alone is impressive, and with plenty of Nutella and bananas, it's a delicious treat that appeals to young people! I chose this because I like black sesame. It costs 486 yen and has a chewy and crunchy texture. It's nice to be able to taste various sweets one after another. It's convenient because it's in Ion. It's easy to repeat. Now soft serve ice cream, close to 500 yen.

I bought the Waffle Cone that I was curious about. I chose the Chocolate Almond flavor. They gave me a mini soft serve as a gift ( ◠‿◠ ) The cone was crispy and delicious, even the half size was satisfying. I want to try a different flavor next time!

This is my first time trying the waffle cone sweets at Waffle Cone. There were about three people ahead of me, but the operation seemed a bit slow, so I ended up waiting for a while. This time, I shared the waffle cone with two other people, and it was not as sweet as I expected, so I finished it quickly. I would like to try the half size all by myself next time!

Looking for a dessert after a meal, I headed to "Kitano SWEETS"! They have products from Crim and Davide Donuts, which I have used before, and you can also purchase products from various places at Aeon in Chitose without having to visit the actual store. It's a convenient option for those living in Chitose and Eniwa! I was considering buying scones made by Crim, but this time I was looking for the newly opened "Waffle Khan" at the same store! Waffle Khan is a waffle specialty store that operates 190 stores in Korea. They use a waffle batter made from 5 different grains and low-calorie whipped cream. I saw it on Instagram and was curious, but as a dessert, it was beyond my expectations in terms of volume! When I arrived, it was sold out, but they were in the process of baking the batter, so I had to wait for about 10 minutes for it to be available again. After the restart, there was a line! Everyone, like me, loves new things. They also had options like "Nutella Strawberry" and "Nutella Banana" with fruits, but I felt that to truly appreciate the essence of the waffle batter, I should skip the fruits, so I ordered the "Custard R (¥780)". I could have gone for the half size, but I wanted to experience the full volume of the waffle, so I ordered the large size! Even though I'm concerned about my weight, it's a contradiction! The order was ready in about 5 minutes. When I received the product, it felt heavy on my wrist! The depth of the photo is not clear due to my lack of photography skills, but trust me, it's huge! If I were to compare it to ice cream, it's more than three times the size of a jumbo monaka! To put it more simply, it's the size of two fists! The reason I mentioned the jumbo monaka is that the first photo attached reminded me of it... Am I the only one who thought of the jumbo monaka? (laughs) Anyway, it's not just thick, but it's also 21cm long, so the mass is no joke. The batter is slightly warm, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside, making it surprisingly light and easy to eat! I'm not a fan of soggy waffles that stick to your teeth, so this texture was perfect for me. However, despite being easy to eat, the thickness of the waffle makes it almost impossible to take a bite from the top to the bottom in one go! I thought my jaw was going to dislocate because I'm not used to taking big bites! The whipped cream is made light considering the volume. The subtle sweetness prevents any guilty feelings, which is one of the factors that captivates influencers! The custard, with its rich egg yolk flavor, harmonizes well with the light whipped cream without overpowering it. Since both creams are generously stuffed inside the waffle, it's inevitable that the cream will spill out while you eat! Remember to eat it carefully! The batter, despite its mass, is light and easy to eat, while the whipped cream, although low in calories, is plentiful, resulting in a full stomach! Even the next morning, my stomach was not settled, and I struggled more than usual to return to my normal weight! However, indulging in a dessert with a generous portion can also be a good thing (even though I tend to overeat), and eating such a large waffle was a great experience! In 2023, when I thought K.L.I.M Kinji Store had closed, they actually relocated to Chitose inside the 1st floor of Aeon. It's a cute pink store that used to be a goat milk shop. They offer original parfaits like plain and milk for takeout at 648 yen for a small size. Today, I tried a simple white parfait with a different texture - not too soft but with a crunchy feel and a balanced sweetness. It had two white balls of mochi and a sponge cake at the bottom. Besides K.L.I.M, there are other select shops like Davide Donuts and Tuncaron with changing seasonal products to look forward to. There is no seating for eating in, but you can use the counter. Today, I tried the small size strawberry parfait. I used a LINE friend addition coupon to get a free hot coffee. The parfait looked slightly different from the photo, but it was smooth and delicious. I would like to try a different one next time, but ¥648 is expensive, right?

I gave up yesterday because there was a long line, but when I went today, it was quite empty so I bought a Soft Mix Regular Cup and a plain donut. Donuts are expensive. The soft serve is a mix of sesame and milk. They gave me a 5% discount for following them on Instagram. If they have a nice eat-in area, I might come back to relax.

This time, I also chose the recommended chocolate almond half. I brought it home and ate it. It was delicious (^｡^)

When I visited Kitano Sweets, I found Maruyama Melon's melon bread. My daughter likes strawberry, so I bought that, and I chose chocolate for myself. It was a bit pricey at 380 yen per piece, but it was delicious.
