Mocha MiLk Tea
I want to eat delicious Napolitan. It's a little before 2:30 pm on a weekday. I see the OPEN sign, so I decide to go in, thinking it should be fine since it's almost the last order. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with sunken kotatsu and table seats. Overall, it looks clean. The owner is at the back. No response. Although he was on the phone, he doesn't acknowledge my presence. Even after he finishes the call, there is no response, which is a bit awkward. Napolitan with salad for 850 yen. Coffee for 100 yen for meal customers, so I pay in advance. However, during payment, it turns out to be 150 yen more, which I notice later on the menu that ice is an additional 50 yen. The owner, who seemed friendly, was the opposite, and I wonder if he was upset because it was close to the last order. However, I find comfort in the introduction from his son. The food arrives quickly, and the Napolitan is served hot on a hot plate. It contains sausage, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, which is a nice surprise. The salad is simple with cabbage and lettuce, but fresh and crunchy. The pasta is slightly thicker, which goes well with the Napolitan. The taste is amazing, with a perfect balance of ketchup, sweetness, and the flavors of the ingredients. The sausage is delicious on its own, but it complements the dish well. The portion of ingredients and noodles is just right. It's incredibly delicious. I try it with Parmesan cheese, Tabasco, and without anything added, and it tastes best without any additional toppings. The hot plate maintains the perfect heat, without burning the food. It's unbelievably delicious. The chef's 40 years of experience at Mitsukoshi really shows. The daily special menu includes various genres with miso soup and rice for 800 yen. Although the hamburg steak and gratin are recommended, the Napolitan that I chose was unexpectedly delicious. The prices are reasonable, and I had a great meal. The service might not be the best, but according to the owner's son, he's just shy. If the food is this delicious and cost-effective, it's not a big deal (laughs). It was a delicious meal at an authentic Western-style restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
