The price of a single plate is generally slightly higher than famous chain stores, but the quality of the sushi rice is excellent and the fish portions are larger and delicious compared to other places. In a time where many sushi restaurants use machines to make sushi, this conveyor belt sushi restaurant still handcrafts some of their sushi right in front of you, providing a slightly old-fashioned experience.

Rotating sushi restaurants are very popular, and they are always crowded on weekends, but this place has a moderate number of people. The shrimp trio (726 yen) allows you to compare the flavors of different types of sweet shrimp. The Aomori salmon (407 yen) has a moderate amount of fat and a firm texture. Maybe you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you compared it to salmon from Iwate - haha. The white pulp salted lemon (294 yen) is refreshing and has a crispy texture, delicious! The large fatty sardine (294 yen) is recommended, truly a local specialty! Fresh, no fishy smell, and very soft! The hole cucumber roll (294 yen) comes in a set of three... that's the impression. The grilled shrimp with salted lemon (294 yen) is tasty with salted lemon. The grilled fatty mackerel with miso (217 yen) has a sweet miso flavor with a crispy grilled mackerel, excellent! The shrimp miso soup (217 yen) only has green onions as ingredients, but it is satisfying with a shrimp flavor. It's nice that you can choose a smaller size of rice. The white pulp salted lemon and the large fatty sardine are great, but there is no outstanding flashy or selling point. Despite many competitors, this place continues to thrive, which is one of the seven wonders of personal rotating sushi restaurants, a unique place like that!

I went to Uoman in Obihiro. I used to go to this place when it had a different name, but it was my first time visiting since it changed to its current name. I had a variety of dishes including shellfish, seared salmon with mayo, salmon, eel, tuna, minced tuna with green onions, sea urchin, surf clam, marinated mackerel, sweet shrimp, hamburger, fried chicken, pumpkin dumplings, soy sauce ramen, chawanmushi, and potato. I especially love the seared salmon with mayo, which has remained delicious just like before. At first, there was only one sushi chef so the dishes took a while to arrive, and I ended up ordering too much and couldn't finish everything.

My usual partner and I went to dinner together. We often pass by this place but have never had the courage to enter until today. As soon as we entered, we were seated at the counter. There were about 15 seats in total, with 5 tables in the back. All 5 tables were filled when we entered. The conveyor belt was not moving, so we had to write our orders on paper. The menu was extensive, with regular items as well as daily specials, and options for 3 or 5 servings of shrimp. We ordered a shrimp boat platter. It looked good and tasted great, and we immediately fell in love with this place. The shrimp tempura soba was delicious. We also had a platter with 5 different types of fish. The recommended item of the day was blackthroat seaperch. We tried a variety of other dishes as well. The fish was cut in a similar way to regular sushi restaurants, and the freshness and size of the fish were impressive. We ended the meal with some soft serve ice cream, which was very firm but melted slowly, allowing us to enjoy it leisurely after the meal. I would like to revisit this restaurant soon. Thank you for the meal.

Fish sushi set for 1160 yen with miso soup and chawanmushi. Includes Minami maguro, salmon, hamachi, shimesaba, aburi saba, tai, hotate, amaebi, tobiko gunkan, and ikura gunkan. The sushi pieces are small but delicious, made by skilled chefs.

I visited the revolving sushi restaurant "Uomaru" for the first time! It is a sister restaurant to the Sea King inside Dream Town Shirakaba. I didn't have many opportunities to visit before, but today is during Golden Week and a work day, so I decided to enjoy some sushi. I arrived at 11:30 and it seemed like I was the first customer. I chose a seat at my favorite spot after some hesitation. The conveyor belt wasn't moving yet, and most of the orders are made after you request them. I ordered the 5-piece shellfish set and the 3-piece crab set. The shellfish set had a variety of shellfish and was quite enjoyable. I accidentally ordered oysters which I couldn't eat, but I left them aside. The rice and the toppings were a bit small, but the variety of shellfish was delicious. The crab set included Taraba, Zuwai, and miso crab, which were all tasty. I was satisfied with just that, but ended up ordering a few more plates. Everything was delicious. Normally, I would go for ramen or udon, but today I stuck to sushi. They usually have affordable lunch sets on weekdays, but with the addition of tax, the bill ended up a bit over 2,000 yen. Overall, Uomaru, thank you for the meal!

Today, I went to a soba restaurant but it was closed. So I went to a nearby sushi restaurant called Uomaru instead. I ordered the Uomaru Nigiri Set lunch for 1,160 yen (excluding tax). It included 10 pieces of nigiri sushi with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, grunt, sardine, mackerel, mackerel, sweet shrimp, flying fish roe, and salmon roe. The rice was a bit thin and small, but the fish was fresh and delicious. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was light and tasty, and the miso soup with shrimp was rich and flavorful. I was very satisfied with this meal for 1,160 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The rotating sushi industry in Obihiro is quite crowded. When I first came to Obihiro, a rotating sushi restaurant called "Marine Boy" was popular, but it has since closed down. The industry is dominated by price-based chains like "Uobei," "Sushiro," and "Hamazushi," as well as taste-based restaurants like "Nagoyakatei," "Matsuriya," and "Hagoromo." Among them is "Uomaru," a restaurant that competes more on taste. It used to be my favorite sister restaurant of "Seeking," but I stopped going there after the chef changed. I decided to give Uomaru a try to see if it can survive in the competitive Obihiro rotating sushi industry. When I visited for the first time, the restaurant was empty, which was surprising. The menu offered good deals like the 3-piece set and a special 5-piece set. I ordered the sushi set lunch for 850 yen with a 50 yen discount coupon. The setting was simple, and the sushi was decent in size, but the rice could have been better. The miso soup, chawanmushi, and salad that came with the set were a nice touch. The staff even offered free coffee after the meal. Overall, Uomaru offers a good balance of cost and quality, but there is room for improvement in the sushi preparation.

I was originally a fan of Sushiro, but since moving I started going to Maru-san for the first time. The size and freshness of the sushi are both excellent. Being able to choose a small portion of rice is a great feature. My personal recommendations are the shime-saba, which perfectly balances the flavor of fresh mackerel, the pickled salmon which I order at least three times in one meal, and the nasu-miso nigiri for a slightly sweet and savory finish. The tamagoyaki is well-made, and the soups are all delicious. The desserts, while limited in variety, are all good. I may have a sweeter tooth than others, but I think Maru-san holds up well compared to other conveyor belt sushi restaurants. It's a reliable place to take friends from out of town. The atmosphere of the restaurant largely depends on the staff - if the staff lacks energy, it can be a bit dull, but with lively staff, it's a great experience. Both styles are delicious, so it's all good. I'll definitely be going back again!

I visited before 6:00 PM. The place is a new building located about 3-4 minutes west of Ito Yokado Inada store by car. There are ○Shiro and ○Bei nearby, but I wasn't satisfied with their sushi with sabi-nuki and wasabi soy sauce, so I chose this place today. The sushi rice was decent and the toppings were fresh and crunchy, typical of conveyor belt sushi. The dishes served were not bad at all. The shiny fish and white fish were delicious. However, I found it hard to get used to the menu not being displayed with prices, and there was a tendency for the order to take a relatively long time to be served, which was a bit disappointing.

I was driving around in the evening and got hungry, so I decided to visit this restaurant. It was New Year's, but I couldn't wait until dinner, so I had some sushi and a draft beer. The restaurant was empty, probably because it was the holiday season. Many items on the menu were sold out, but that was understandable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was not great, lacking the liveliness you would expect from a sushi restaurant. Despite being empty, the service was slow, which made me think that not many people visit this place. On my way back, I noticed that the nearby Sushiro was full.

I go to this revolving sushi restaurant near the hospital I visit often. It's usually not too crowded, which is nice! It's part of the Sushiro chain. I tried their ramen, which is like sushi restaurant-style ramen, and it was pretty good with its Japanese-style broth. They even had a limited-time special with hormone ramen. And I tried a unique dish - a long stick of sweet potato that was crispy on the outside and chewy inside, it was delicious! They also had a salmon cheese dish with melted cheese on top - so interesting! I'll definitely be stopping by again during lunchtime. Thank you for the meal!

I had lunch alone at Kaitenzushi Uomaru, which used to be called Kaitenzushi Shichifukujin. Even though it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the sushi doesn't actually go around, so you have to order using paper. Since I was dining alone, I ended up sharing a table number with the person next to me. I ordered a popular 5-piece sushi set (tuna, salmon, sweet shrimp, squid, and shrimp tail) for 410 yen, a 3-piece shiny fish set (sardine, Pacific saury, and mackerel) for 230 yen, Hokkaido greenling for 230 yen, and shrimp soup for 180 yen, totaling 10 pieces of sushi and soup for a tax-included price of 1134 yen. The taste was decent for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but the square-shaped sushi was a bit odd. The 3-piece sets are great for those who want to try different types of sushi but can't eat two pieces of each. The sushi is made after you order, so the rice is just right and not too cold. Among the dishes I tried, the Hokkaido greenling stood out with its perfect balance of fat and chewy texture. The shrimp soup had a rich broth with three shrimp heads in one bowl. If you're in a hurry or want to control your portion size (if you have self-control), conveyor belt sushi is convenient. Although I've already posted a review of Kaitenzushi Seeking in Shirakaba Street Dream Town, since this is not a nationwide chain, I wanted to introduce and support this restaurant with this review. Thank you for the meal.

Last week, I visited Seeking and thought it looked pretty good, so I visited this second store, Uomaru. I was the first customer. When I entered, I felt like the atmosphere was a bit gloomy...I had a bad feeling. At this point, I didn't take any photos and didn't post anything. The dishes all lacked aroma and it just turned into a meal to fill my stomach. I stayed for about 30 minutes. The staff seemed to be treating me like "just one customer," making me feel really disappointed. What bothered me the most was the lack of aroma in the dishes. Each dish lacked the satisfaction of "I ate ○○." It was unsatisfying. Goodbye.

Shortages are likely due in part to Russia's influence. It is said that sea urchin and crab may become scarce in the future. Imported salmon from Norway and other white fish and bluefin tuna sourced from Europe may also become more expensive. The dish here is served folded in half vertically, making it easy to take home as a souvenir. It was delicious.
