I've been to various sushi places, but I still like this one the most. The sushi pieces are large and substantial, and the freshness is top-notch. They also have a wide range of side dishes to choose from, and they have a decent selection of my favorite sake. The only downside is that the restaurant is oddly long and narrow, which makes getting to the restroom a bit tricky. Haha!

When I want to eat sushi, I come here. My best friend from the Kanto region was visiting, so we decided to stop by together. The head chef is very friendly and remembers the faces and names of the customers, which I really appreciate. The sushi is delicious and reasonably priced, and once again, we left with full stomachs.

This restaurant has relocated to a street with a lot of inbound tourists, and it seems that 90% of the customers, aside from myself, are from overseas. It's common to see a long line outside, so I recommend making a reservation. The seat configuration is a bit awkward, with the chair height not matching the counter height, and the footrest area not aligning well with the chairs, which made it uncomfortable. I ordered a large beer and sushi, focusing mainly on tuna, along with the deep-fried tuna belly. The staff seemed inexperienced and there were quite a few order mistakes, but the head chef was clearly managing everything and I was impressed by how he interacted with customers despite being busy. The quality of the sushi, especially the tuna, is outstanding considering the price. The deep-fried tuna belly might be polarizing, as it has a blood-like aroma reminiscent of whale meat, but I personally enjoyed the flavor. Although the prices are affordable, the location and atmosphere seem more tailored for inbound tourists, which might make it a bit intimidating for Japanese customers to enter.

The five kinds of tuna nigiri, grilled saury with saikyo miso, and red shrimp are all incredibly delicious. The impact of the five kinds of tuna exceeded my expectations. Honestly, the level of satisfaction was much higher than the restaurant's Tabelog score. The giant shrimp and sea urchin did not disappoint. The saikyo miso grilled fish is also a great side dish. There were many foreign guests. This is a place where both Japanese and international visitors can be fully satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I always enjoy visiting this place! The bone crackers and the other daily special menu items are a must-try; you’d be missing out if you don’t have them. The owner is very friendly, and many international tourists come here, so there’s hardly ever a long wait. Even so, it's definitely worth lining up for this sushi restaurant!

The tuna is, of course, fantastic, but the eel is also flavorful and has a nice roast, while the egg has a gentle seasoning that makes it very tasty. I visited Maguro Ittetsu at Sennichimedia for the first time in a while. Previous visits were mostly for late-night snacks, so I don't remember much, but I do recall it being pretty affordable when I came with three people. This time, I came for lunch, but I didn't find the lunch pricing to be very good. Even with lunch, there was a cover charge and a one-drink requirement, making the total for sushi, an appetizer, and Oolong tea come to 2,563 yen (tax included). If you're looking for a better deal for lunch, the area around Ura-Namba is a better option. However, at night, they offer various sets that include rare cuts of tuna, making it an interesting place to visit.

I underestimated it. The cheap sushi restaurant in Osaka. After going down a confusingly narrow path in Sennichimae, I emerged into the even narrower alley leading to the shop. The shocking price of 50 yen per piece had me suspicious—it's a price point I usually only associate with the "Great Deals" at Don Quijote. But it was incredibly delicious. I totally underestimated it. I will come back. Oh, and you absolutely must try the chawanmushi. It's basically just dashi—solid food for drinking dashi!

On this day, I decided to have sushi and headed south to a spot just a bit past the famous okonomiyaki restaurants in the Sennichimae shopping street toward the Saito Bridge shopping street. The interior of the restaurant has a row of counter seats, which feels a bit cramped. The customers varied from inbound tourists to solo diners and those visiting for sightseeing. It's no surprise that this place has good cost performance and is easy to visit! I’m also one of those diners, after all! ★ Draft Beer ¥500 ★ Appetizer (Macaroni Salad) - I forgot the price... ★ Karasumi Tomato ¥380 I ordered this as it seemed like a great side dish. The bright red tomato slices were generously sprinkled with karasumi powder, looking delicious! Once I tried it, the karasumi really enhanced the tomato's flavor—so tasty! The tomato was nicely chilled too, which was a pleasant surprise! ★ Fried Tuna ¥580 I had heard that they take pride in their tuna, so I ordered the fried tuna! Drizzling some lemon on top made it incredibly delicious! I found myself thinking that fried tuna might just be perfect! Now that I've enjoyed a few dishes, it's time for the sushi! ★ Hon-Tuna Sampler ¥880 Featuring "Akami," "Chutoro," and "Otoro," the three tuna brothers are presented boldly! I was surprised at the price for such quality hon-tuna. I had the "Akami" and "Otoro." The "Akami" was light yet flavorful, while the "Otoro" melted in my mouth—such a delightful experience! ★ White Fish Sampler ¥500 With "Tai," "Hirame," and "Hamachi Belly," I couldn't believe it was only 500 yen! I ordered "Tai" and "Hamachi Belly," and they were both incredibly delicious! The tai had a fantastic texture, and the hamachi belly was firm and rich in flavor! ★ Aburi Sampler ¥500 With "Tai," "Salmon," and "Shime Saba," the grilled and lightly salted flavors were perfectly balanced. I enjoyed the classic "Salmon," and it was exquisite! ★ Grilled Scallop (1 piece) ¥250 Having tasted the delicious grilled items, I opted for my favorite scallop! A lightly grilled, thick scallop brought out its natural sweetness, and it was outstanding! ★ Marinated Tuna ¥110 (probably...) I love marinated dishes! The tuna looked mouthwatering, and one bite... it was delicious! The soft tuna had the perfect marination. ★ Tsun Tsun Maki ¥480 Wondering what "Tsun Tsun Maki" was, I guessed it might be "Tears Maki." When I asked, it turned out to be a roll with wasabi and cucumber! I debated between that and "Tekka Maki" but went with "Tsun Tsun Maki." The flavor was milder than I expected, making it a perfect end to my meal! My friend ordered "Geso" as nigiri and seemed to really enjoy it, priced at just 50 yen! Yes, I’ll repeat that: "Geso" for 50 yen! It’s unbelievably cheap! There are so many other dishes I want to try here, so I definitely need to come back! The service was attentive, and all the staff were friendly. With such reasonable prices, it’s no wonder this place is popular! I’ll be returning soon! *Note: All prices exclude tax. In the Namba and Dotonbori area, there's a popular and affordable restaurant called "Tachi Sushi Maguro Itteki Sennichimae," which had a line even before it opened. We joined the queue behind others. It opens at noon, prioritizing reservations, so we were glad we had booked ahead! It advertised fresh seafood delivered directly from the wholesale market in Kitakyushu. Just last week, I visited Kitakyushu and enjoyed some fresh sushi, so I was excited! The restaurant features only 26 counter seats. I assumed it would be a standing sushi bar, but there were chairs available. Without further ado, my friend and I toasted with a drink! ★ Draft Beer: 500 yen It was a bit hot, so the beer went down nicely. ★ Appetizer (Macaroni Salad) ★ Fried Tuna: 580 yen It was crispy and well-seasoned. Since tuna is the specialty of the restaurant, we definitely had to order some. We shared it with a friend. ★ Squid Legs: 55 yen (left) Surprisingly fresh and thick, this was incredibly delicious for just 55 yen. ★ Hon Maguro Sampler: 880 yen This included "Akami," "Chutoro," and "Otoro." The chutoro was sweet and refreshing—very delicious. The otoro was rich and fatty, with its own sweetness. ★ White Fish Sampler: 500 yen This included "Tai," "Hirame," and "Hamachi Belly." I tried the Hirame, which was a perfect sushi ingredient, light, and elegant in taste. ★ Seared Fish Sampler: 500 yen This included "Tai," "Salmon," and "Shime Saba." The shime saba was thick with flavor—absolutely tasty. ★ Tsun Tsun Roll: 480 yen This was a thin roll with wasabi and cucumber. There are various ways to enjoy sushi! The wasabi wasn’t overly intense, and the crunchiness of the cucumber was pleasantly delicious. ★ H sword Sake: 600 yen They opened the lid and heated the sake to evaporate the alcohol, allowing us to savor the aroma. The resulting drink was very fragrant and easy to go down. I was very satisfied. Thank you very much! The restaurant was bustling with foreign visitors, businessmen, and women, all enjoying the counter-only seating. With such affordability and taste, I definitely want to return to this restaurant. This is my second visit this month, and the taste is consistently excellent! I’m hooked on sushi every weekend. Thanks to the influx of tourists, there are also many foreigners. During the Golden Week, I visited the restaurant for dinner during the prime time when it was packed with customers. It just so happened to be "Tuna Day," so I enjoyed sushi starting from the fatty part of the tuna. I ate to my heart's content and was completely satisfied tonight. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

This restaurant is just a 4-minute walk from Nihonbashi, and I heard you can enjoy sushi at a reasonable price while sitting at the counter, so I decided to check it out! ✌︎('ω')✌︎ The interior has a long counter, and on the day I visited, almost all the customers were from overseas! I thought it was standing sushi since it said "tachizushi," but thankfully, you can sit down to eat. Here’s what I ordered: - Grilled tuna hormone: 680 yen - Negitoro salt yukke: 680 yen - Tempura assortment (three types): 480 yen - Honmaguro (bluefin tuna) platter: 880 yen - Salmon platter: 450 yen - Aburi (seared) platter: 500 yen As I heard, all the sushi is affordable! And it’s delicious too! The grilled tuna hormone was also very tasty, and the Korean person at the next table asked me what it was and ended up ordering the same dish! (*´꒳`*) This place is a great find for overseas tourists as it offers good food at a reasonable price. Overall, I had a wonderful meal! Thank you very much!

Hidden away in a back alley of Dotonbori, there’s a quaint sushi restaurant! It features a long counter, and it fills up quickly. We started with the Miyakojima wild seaweed vinegar, which was slippery and crunchy with great texture! Then we enjoyed an assortment of sashimi: the amberjack was fragrant and tender, the medium fatty tuna was rich and soft, the live octopus was fresh and springy, and the yellowtail had just the right amount of bite—it was all delicious! The dried mullet roe on tomato added a nice salty touch, and to our surprise, the leftover pieces of sea bream were packed with flavor, soaking into the radish! We also tried the sliced squid, which was chewy and sweet. The premium sushi platter came with ten pieces of various fresh sushi, including shrimp, sea urchin, salmon roe, scallops, fatty tuna, salmon, flounder, eel, and yellowtail—it was both gorgeous and luxurious! The seared tuna brain sashimi, from a rare part of the tuna, is not something you find everywhere, and it’s highly recommended at this place! It was incredibly tasty, served with a refreshing ponzu sauce. The tempura platter was crispy and delicious, offering a generous portion. The chawanmushi (savory egg custard) was luxurious with eel inside! Everything was delicious, the value for money was great, and I left very satisfied! I can’t wait to come back for more of that rare tuna! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I visited a restaurant I’ll be returning to at the end of the year. I casually stopped by alone, and the sushi was delicious. I had a drink called "Gari-chu." The pieces of fish were large, and the prices were reasonable. It seems like this will become my go-to place when I crave sushi. It's a must-visit place for sashimi lovers, featuring fresh tuna delivered directly from Katsuura and rare cuts from Shizuoka. There were quite a few customers waiting outside the restaurant, especially foreigners, so making a reservation beforehand might be a wise choice. The restaurant has a long counter seating only. Sushi starts at 50 yen per piece, and even for tuna, it's reasonably priced starting from 88 yen. You can enjoy a variety of sushi and creative dishes centered around tuna. Here’s what my friends and I ordered: - Beer (Super Dry, large bottle) 600 yen - Tuna platter 1,500 yen - Fried tuna 580 yen - Large sardine 580 yen - Simmered tuna with radish 480 yen - Firefly squid with vinegar miso 480 yen - Amberjack sashimi 580 yen - **Sushi** - Eel 250 yen - Crab miso roll 150 yen - Whelk 150 yen - Bluefin tuna belly 200 yen - Eel appetizer 680 yen We started with a toast over a cold beer.
