A sushi izakaya that opened last August in Kuromon Market offers fresh sushi and seafood bowls. Honestly, I thought it would mainly cater to inbound tourists, but that was not the case at all! The freshness is excellent, the portions are generous, and it's all very reasonably priced ( >ω<). The dish I ordered, the "Seafood Yukke Bowl," was piled high with marinated tuna and yellowtail. The bowl was deeper than it looked, and it was packed full of rice, making it very satisfying to eat. Lunch comes with red miso soup. They have a wide variety of rice bowl options, and they are open from 10 AM, making it very convenient!

Kuromon Market has many restaurants that offer seafood donburi. The reason I chose this particular place is that it’s a new store and, quite frankly, it was the cheapest among them. Honestly, I generally think that the quality and quantity of seafood donburi in markets like this are typically not very good. Therefore, I thought, even if it’s not great, it's fine since it’s the cheapest option. Plus, I believed a new store would put in extra effort compared to others. I ordered the "Tsukimi Tororo Don," which is a type of negitoro donburi I had never heard of before. It was incredibly delicious. In the center, there was a raw egg, negitoro, and tororo, allowing me to enjoy various flavors. More places should offer this dish. It also came with miso soup and potato salad, which should definitely be listed on the menu. The portion was satisfying; it felt like a reverse rip-off. Three women were working there, and the youngest-looking part-timer arrived late but only received a gentle reminder, making it seem like a friendly workplace. Additionally, the restroom was clean, and the indoor environment was very comfortable. I hope they continue to get along well in the future.
