Since it's my birthday month, I decided to enjoy a slightly lavish holiday lunch and made a reservation here for one. I was seated at a window table filled with openness and light. I started by ordering my first drink: hot Japanese black tea. Shortly after, a seasonal soup — tomato cream soup — was brought to me, featuring what seemed to be shrimp among the ingredients. Soon after, an afternoon tea set arrived, elegantly presented in two tiers. I began with a roast beef salad, which was tender and delicious, enhanced by the kick of whole peppercorns. I savored various items such as temari sushi, cheese baumkuchen, sesame tofu, and salmon salad, all beautifully arranged in small bowls and plates. I enjoyed tasting each one while having fun with the presentation. The small dishes I interpreted as dessert were also beautiful, with each item offering different flavors. Beneath the mini parfait made with Shine Muscat grapes was a custard-flavored mousse, among other treats. For my second drink, I ordered mango juice, which was rich, thick, and delicious. The final dessert on the menu was a tart, lightly dusted with matcha powder, with chewy cubes of kuromitsu (black syrup) inside. I thoroughly enjoyed a wide variety of flavors!

It is located on the 9th floor of Marui. I visited on Sunday at 12:30 and found three groups ahead of me. After writing my name and waiting, I was called in less than 10 minutes. The interior is bright and spacious, with a view of the city of Kanto from the windows. The staff is well-trained and very pleasant. I ordered the obanzai set, which was delicious and enjoyable.

In addition to the main dish, there are many side dishes, allowing you to enjoy a variety of flavors. The interior is spacious, so even during the weekend lunch rush, I was able to get in without waiting too long. The snacks also looked delicious, so I would like to visit during café time next time.

The restaurant area in LUMINE Kitasenju was crowded, but the dining area in Marui seemed less busy, possibly due to the higher price range. As for the food, it was elegant, allowing me to taste a little of various dishes, and it was incredibly delicious. There were many types of dishes, all looking appetizing, so I definitely want to come back for lunch again.

I made a reservation for September 15, 2024, at 6:30 PM, but I did not reserve a private room. However, I was guided to a private room. I ordered the Sagano course, which includes the following items: - Today's six varieties of obanzai (traditional Japanese side dishes) - Today's sashimi platter - Homemade yuba (tofu skin) with aan sauce - Grilled chicken thigh with saikyo miso - Aji (horse mackerel) fry with colorful vegetables and grated daikon radish marinade - White rice - Vegetable-rich white miso soup - Soy milk pudding with black syrup and kinako (roasted soybean flour) The sashimi platter included two pieces of salmon, two pieces of sea bream, and one piece of tuna. From the name of the restaurant, I imagined a "Kyoto style," but I didn't strongly sense the Kyoto influence; it felt more like general Japanese cuisine. The service was attentive, and they paid careful attention to the progress of the dishes and their presentation. Thank you for the meal!

On this day, I went for lunch with a high school friend to the restaurant area on the 9th floor of Marui. There were so many different places to choose from, I was a bit overwhelmed! We decided on this restaurant, which opened at 11 AM, and when we arrived around that time, there were already many customers ahead of us! The restaurant itself had a deep layout, and we were seated near the entrance, so I couldn’t really see the ambiance further inside, but it seemed like a nice space to relax. We ordered the salmon and mushroom tofu with yuba sauce set, and the black-haired wagyu beef tendon with yuzu miso sauce set. As for the food, it was pretty average, I would say. The six small side dishes were just right and nice! We both chose dishes with sauce, and we thought it would have been better if there were a bit more main ingredients. But in the end, I was satisfied because I could enjoy a leisurely meal with my friend! Thank you for the meal!

I was glad to have the option of a private room if available. I chose this place for a lunch gathering with friends from various locations. It was conveniently located near the station in a commercial facility. The restaurant was clean and comfortable to spend time in. The menu was fixed, so the timing of the food service didn't bother me, but perhaps because it was lunch hour, I had to remind them about refilling the tea and collecting the dishes, which they seemed to forget. Although there was a 90-minute limit, the service was fairly slow, allowing us to chat a lot. All the dishes were delicious, and everyone enjoyed the small portions of various items and the an-kake yuba (silken tofu with a thick sauce). Thank you very much! The restaurant has a layout focused on alcohol, but it also offers set meals, making it suitable for solo dining. When you choose a main dish for the set meal, you get seasonal side dishes, rice, salad, and miso soup included. Although it wasn't listed on the menu, you can get free refills on rice! The taste is fairly typical of a Japanese-style family restaurant, but the staff was friendly and efficient, which was a nice touch.

I had been curious about the place since it opened in May, and I finally had the chance to visit. I enjoyed a six-item daily obanzai platter, a sashimi assortment, roast beef, and a raw beef dish, paired with a glass of wine and sake. During my visit, a foreign customer walked in alone, but unfortunately, none of the staff seemed to speak any English, which was a bit disappointing.

In front of me are my all-time favorite restaurant for agedashi tofu and a beloved tempura chain. However, this place offers great cost performance and convenience. I will definitely visit again. Non-alcoholic beer is 550 yen, grilled eggplant with broth is 528 yen, shrimp mapo tofu is 858 yen, and fried mackerel is 748 yen. There's no cover charge, the service is good, and I feel like this place will become a regular spot for me. Thank you for the meal!

I was incredibly tired on my way back and wanted to replenish my energy, so I decided to stop by a newly opened restaurant. I arrived about 30 minutes before last orders, I think? I was looking at the menu at the entrance, but no one came to greet me, and I started to wonder if they were already closed. It wasn't until a customer came to the register to pay that I was noticed, haha. There wasn't any greeting from the staff either, and when I asked if they were closing, I was told it was still okay to come in. I was there for some nutritional replenishment! The menu had so many options, and I was quite overwhelmed. I wanted to try a little bit of everything, which I know many women love. Since I'm a sucker for salmon and avocado, I ordered the dish you see in the picture. I placed my order through a tablet, as there were no other customers, so my food arrived quickly. The flavors were gentle and it was quite good. It would have been even better if they offered not just white rice but also mixed grain rice or brown rice. The salad was called "salad to eat with a spoon," so I diligently tried to eat it with a spoon. The combination of flavors was reliable and delicious! The side dishes were all things I liked. Since there are many dishes I'd like to try, I'm thinking about visiting again when there are more customers. I expect the service to be thoughtful and attentive then.

I visited around 4 PM on a holiday, so there weren't many customers, but it took some time to be seated, and none of the tables had been cleared yet. However, the food was served smoothly, and the seating was quite spacious, which was very nice. The green onion namul from the side dishes and the main dish of beef tendon were delicious.

A newly opened Japanese restaurant with a great atmosphere and a wide variety of à la carte dishes—my expectations were high. The fried horse mackerel had a crispy coating and a fluffy interior that was irresistible. I enjoyed it very much (╹◡╹) and plan to visit again soon! The fried horse mackerel with colorful vegetables and grated daikon was 748 yen, and the daily sashimi set was 2,178 yen. The set included six kinds of side dishes, four types of sashimi, salad, rice, and miso soup. The flavors were well-balanced, but it lacked a bit of impact. Seeking delicious ramen, I visited Nijo Saryo in Kyoto, which opened on May 13, 2024. Congratulations on the grand opening! This restaurant offers Japanese cuisine that utilizes seasonal ingredients, providing rich flavors reminiscent of Kyoto in a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s a casual space that makes it easy for anyone to drop by, making it feel friendly and approachable. ✨ I tried the Shrimp Miso Soy Milk Ramen for ¥1,078. The shrimp aroma was irresistible! The collaboration of soy milk and miso created a smooth and creamy soup. There’s also a “Demon Dried Sardine Soy Milk Ramen” on the menu that I’m curious about! ☺️ Even just after their opening, the service was attentive and pleasant—it’s impressive as expected from GANKO. ☝️

The atmosphere in the restaurant was bright and the food was delicious. However, the salmon sashimi was too fatty. There were many people waiting, and it was crowded, so even after finishing my meal, the next dish didn't come out. I ordered tea through the terminal, but it didn't arrive, so I eventually had to call a staff member to request it. It was disappointing that the last rice and miso soup didn't come with pickles. The coffee and dessert at the end were also tasty. I appreciated that after my meal, I wasn't rushed to leave and was allowed to stay for a while longer.

The taste was average for the price.

The private room was nice, and the food was delicious, but the course service might be a bit slow. I would like to use this place again.
