In August 2022, a summer festival was held in the district where I live. It was a modest event, but the local residents were excited. There was a free raffle draw, and when I tried it, I won two beer vouchers! My two friends also won one beer each. We went to a nearby restaurant and ordered beer and snacks. We were sitting at a table next to a group of lively customers who had won four beer vouchers. One of them didn't drink alcohol and ordered a gyoza set instead. I ordered the basic Kame-chan gyoza with rice set, two glasses of draft beer, cheese wontons, and bitter melon stir-fry. Each dish was carefully prepared, and the bitter melon stir-fry was deliciously cooked to balance the bitterness. After dinner, it was late, so we parted ways. I hope next year's summer festival will be even more exciting. I gave the leftover beer vouchers to my friend who had the gyoza set. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to visit a restaurant recommended by MyReviewer-san (#^.^#). It's a favorite dumpling restaurant of mine. The great value evening drinking set offers 5 different combinations of drinks and snacks to choose from! I had the "Teine Set" which includes beer + sweet potato shochu + Italian spring rolls. In addition, I ordered "garlic dumplings" and "shiso dumplings." The "Italian spring rolls" are wrapped in spring roll skin with a tomato base, minced meat, and cheese, fried to perfection and served hot. It's delicious! The "garlic dumplings" are packed with finely chopped garlic, very garlicky! For garlic lovers, it's irresistible! The "shiso dumplings" have a shiso leaf in each piece, giving a refreshing aroma. I also added a highball because two drinks weren't enough. There are still many more dumplings I want to try, but with prices around 800 yen for 8 pieces, I can only try 2-4 varieties at most. It would be nice if they had a menu for trying out different types of dumplings. I must visit again to try the pickled ginger and lotus root! Thank you, "Kame-chan"!

Welcome.---------- January 2020 ----------In the Yamabana area, next to Gyokei Street, there used to be a Napoli pizza place, if I remember correctly. In the middle of the restaurant, there is a counter surrounded by tables, and a friendly old man. He seems to be a fan of the Nippon-Ham Fighters baseball team, with many uniforms displayed. They used to only be open at night, but now they also serve lunch. The menu includes "Gyoza, Tebasaki Daikon, Zangi," which are also the restaurant's name. The Kame-chan grilled gyoza set is a highlight, with a crispy outer texture and a juicy filling wrapped in a fluffy dumpling. The gyoza sauce already has vinegar in it, so it pairs well with just a bit of chili oil. The gyoza is served with a Japanese-style sesame dressing on fresh greens. The meal includes a flavorful chicken broth soup, and you can get extra rice for free. The meal ends with two types of pickles. I'm curious about the nighttime drinking set and the "Zuripon" dish. The lunch menu is reasonably priced at 750 yen including tax.

I live close by and recently went out for a night of bar hopping with my younger sister to check out some local spots. We started at a place that had a happy hour deal until 6pm. The bar opened at 5pm and we were the only customers there (it was a Monday). We ordered the evening drink set, my sister got the "Soya Rock Set" which included two beers and a choice of appetizer A. We ordered the "Sand Liver Ponzu Pickled" as the appetizer. It was a well-prepared dish with a nice texture. We also ordered the "Small Shrimp Tempura" from the food menu, which was crispy and delicious. The happy hour set was a great deal with the second drink being a highball. We also got the "Cheese Dumplings" which had a cheesy crust and a great aroma. The dumplings themselves were not too flavorful but still tasty. I thought about getting the "White Flag Set" with rice for dinner next time. Overall, it was a great experience with no other customers around. Thank you for the meal! It's interesting when a new restaurant opens nearby, especially if you have been living in the area for a few months. There is a pizza delivery shop next door, with a simple exterior, but one night I noticed a new place called "Showa Oyaji's Gyoza Kitchen - Kame-chan." I hadn't had dinner yet, so I decided to check it out. Inside, there was a woman dining alone at the counter, watching sports on TV. The menu featured the basic Kame-chan Gyoza (8 pieces) for 700 yen, with rice (soup and pickles included) for 200 yen. I ordered the rice as normal, along with a lemon sour and tebasaki daikon. The tebasaki daikon had a flavorful broth and the chicken wings were large and neatly deboned. The gyoza were generously sized, with a deliciously crispy skin and a thick meat filling. The gyoza sauce was customizable, allowing you to adjust the flavor to your liking. The owner seemed capable of preparing a variety of dishes, as evidenced by the lunchtime 1000 yen drinking set menu. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and I would recommend it for both meals and drinks.

In a corner of the 2021.12 Avenue, I am healed by the brightness of the illumination every year. Near there, there is a restaurant called "Showa Oyaji's Gyoza." Today, I ordered some gyoza for takeout! The customer is about 3 people, and the price is 700 yen for one serving, which contains 8 pieces with sauce. "Please eat while it's warm," said the old man. Back at home, I heated them up in a frying pan and we all enjoyed them. The homemade skin is chewy and the filling is delicious. I still prefer eating gyoza at the restaurant. Everyone was satisfied.
