I was looking for a place where I could use my V points, and I ended up at Hakkaien. I ordered large raw fish, a Hoppy set, upper rib meat, horumon (offal), sausage with spicy kimchi, large pickled白菜 kimchi (Chinese cabbage), and rice. Although they don't offer all-you-can-drink for one person, being able to use points made it a highly rated experience.

I wanted to eat raw meat, so I ordered hatsu sashimi, but what I got was completely different from the photo. The green onions were just minced white onions (the photo showed Kyoto green onions or green onions), and the meat was fully cooked. It was also unpleasant in taste. If it had come with garlic or ginger, it might have been more bearable. I was really disappointed that everything was different from the photo.

I stopped by for dinner, craving some grilled meat. The restaurant is conveniently located right in front of the station. I went up to the second floor, where the atmosphere was lively. After being seated, I placed my order through a touchscreen. I ordered a platter of five types of offals, a three-piece set of wagyu beef, and a large bowl of rice. The platter of offals arrived first. Although the portions weren't overwhelmingly large, each piece was delicious. Next came the three-piece wagyu platter. The fat in the short rib was a bit too much for me, but that’s a matter of personal preference; all of it was tasty. The heart meat, in particular, was rich in flavor and paired well with the rice. In the end, I ordered the large rice bowl twice more, totaling three bowls. I left feeling full and satisfied.

I entered the restaurant because of the all-you-can-drink sign. The kimchi was kind of... the meat was also not great, but the sausages were reliable. The soup was good as long as it didn't have meat in it. The restaurant was empty, probably because it was a weekday or late at night. Thank you for the meal!

This review is for a yakiniku izakaya called Hakkai-en located right near Ayase Station, on the second floor above Sukiya. I made a same-day reservation and visited with my daughter. We arrived a bit early, but a staff member who seemed to be Korean kindly welcomed us and showed us to our seats. The all-you-can-drink option for 60 minutes at 680 yen is very reasonable! The sashimi platter with three types is also a great value at 880 yen. The sesame oil flavor is lovely, and there’s plenty of green onion, making it really delicious. The lamb meat for 580 yen is tender and has no off-putting smell. The thickly sliced beef tongue (2 pieces) for 1580 yen is also tasty and satisfying. The crunchy cartilage has a cute shape. The cold noodles have the authentic taste of Korea. I used 570 points from Tabelog. Thank you for the meal!

I heard about a new restaurant in Ayase called Hakkaien that recently opened, so I decided to check it out. I enjoyed a solo yakiniku meal, feeling free to indulge in whatever I wanted. I ordered the tongue salt, a three-piece assortment of wagyu beef, salt-cucumber salad, a three-piece assortment of mixed hormone, and two medium-sized rice bowls. I also had a couple of large beers, one soda with Daiyame, and one soda with Kokushimura. Sitting at a table enjoying charcoal-grilled meat, beer, and sweet potato shochu was perfectly balanced for me!

I made a reservation for a 2-hour all-you-can-drink deal for 1500 yen, which is very affordable. There are many types of offal, and I wanted to try a variety, so I ordered the 5-piece offal platter with salt for 980 yen, which felt like a great deal. For two people, we spent just under 10,000 yen on food and drinks and we were very satisfied. Other items we tried included crab marinated in a jar, sesame-flavored sirloin, premium salted tongue, tomato salad, crunchy cartilage, seasoned pig's feet (which was just okay), and chocolate ice cream (which was good).

I really wanted to enjoy grilled meat and beer, so I went to Hakkaien for a solo drink. The clean atmosphere is still great. The mega-sized mug is the best! However, during my previous visit, I was able to do an all-you-can-drink by myself, but this time I couldn't. I sipped modestly while having my meat grilled gently.

I recently visited a newly opened yakiniku restaurant on a Tuesday around 8:30 PM, and there were no other customers at that time. It seems there are both table and tatami seating options, but the table seats were a bit cramped and the benches were shallow, making them somewhat uncomfortable for a longer stay. I ordered a three-piece selection of wagyu and sakura yukke. The meat was very tender, with just the right amount of fat, and it was delicious. It appears that they also offer an affordable all-you-can-drink option, making it easy to enjoy yakiniku casually.

I visited a newly opened offal grill restaurant by myself. The all-you-can-drink option without draft beer was about 700 yen for one hour, but since I believe that draft beer is a must with grilled meat, I chose the two-hour all-you-can-drink deal for about 1500 yen. The clean interior and the chilled sauces (like lemon juice and spicy sauce) taken from the fridge made me feel reassured about hygiene. I ordered one serving each of wagyu beef ribs, beef offal, kimchi, low-temperature cooked beef tongue sashimi, pork belly with sesame, cold noodles, rice, and sausage. The wagyu beef ribs were a bit fatty, but they were worth the price. My top recommendation would be the beef offal. I was also pleased with how quickly they served the beer.
