This is Bokko-shi‼️ It's the first ramen of December‼️ It's lunchtime during work, and it's 12:30 PM‼️ We are in Amerikamura, a young people's town in Osaka‼️ This time⁉️ it's burnt chicken white broth with seaweed‼️ The pure white chicken white broth soup turned pitch black by burning it‼️ The slightly bitter taste from burning complements the rich chicken white broth well and becomes addictive‼️ The medium-thin noodles are delicious as they intertwine with the burnt chicken white broth soup‼️ The kaiware (radish sprouts) and red onion add a nice texture‼️ Wrapping the noodles in seaweed is also delicious‼️ The tender, sous-vide cooked chicken chashu is delicious‼️ The other piece of chicken chashu is slightly crispy and tasty‼️ Adding the garlic they provided, it also goes well and enhances the flavor of this delicious bowl‼️

I had some errands nearby and was looking for a ramen shop, so I decided to trust the reviews on Tabelog and visit this place. The interior was dimly lit and not very clean, and although there was no discrimination, I had a bad feeling as the shop was run by two foreign staff. The result was a taste that was hard to describe. The soup was lukewarm like a potage with noodles in it, which was not to my liking.

Along Dotonbori, there is a rich chicken broth ramen! I've been curious about Bokko-shi for a while now, and this was my first visit! I had a rough idea of the menu beforehand, but when I stood in front of the ticket machine, I couldn't decide. I initially thought of getting the regular chicken broth ramen, but ended up choosing the super rich version... I wanted something intense. After taking a bite, I realized it was indeed intense! However, it went down smoothly. I regretted not getting some white rice or topping it with a boiled egg, but overall, it was delicious!

I visited this restaurant during my sightseeing in Osaka, recommended by a friend. I ordered the burnt chicken white broth and was surprised by its appearance. When I took a bite, the creamy chicken white broth and burnt flavor blended perfectly, and it was very delicious. It was a taste I had never experienced before. I will definitely visit again.

I visited the restaurant around 10 pm on a regular night. The place was about half full. I ordered the charred chicken white broth. The service speed was normal. I heard it was an evolved version of chicken white broth, but I felt it was just okay. I also tried the regular chicken white broth, but it lacked depth of flavor. It might be a matter of personal preference. The smoked chashu was delicious.

I had the burnt chicken white soup for ¥930. It was served in about 3 minutes after being seated. The soup was creamy with a hint of bitterness that was quite addictive. The black color of the soup comes from a secret process involving crushed and seared chicken mince mixed with bamboo charcoal. The noodles were thin and coated well with the black soup. The chashu came in two types, breast and thigh, with the breast being tender and moist from low-temperature cooking, and the thigh having a smoky flavor and a chewy texture. It also had kaiware, purple onion, and white leeks as toppings. They offer garlic for flavor customization, which turned out to be a creamy white garlic paste. Overall, it was my first experience with black ramen, and it was delicious. The restaurant offers 5 types of chicken white soup with 3 topping options. The owner, despite being alone, was lively and provided excellent service. Thank you for the meal!

I am "Noronori", who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. The original source is https://ameblo.jp/norinoribenben20072000/entry-12817362307.html. I've always wanted to try this restaurant. While I should probably eat chicken white broth, lately I've been getting heartburn from it, and if I do, I end up suffering for 3 or 4 days, so I'll pass on the chicken white broth. I chose the tantanmen instead. It was very delicious and had a lot of originality. Thank you for the meal.

#Ramen Circuit Currently Being Held
For lunch on Thursday, July 27th, I went to Bokko-shi in Nishi-Shinsaibashi for their Chicken Paitan Ramen priced at 880 yen. The special bonus was a seasoned egg. The noodles were thin and smooth, and the soup had a pure white, beautiful color with a slightly salty taste. The kitchen was quite hot, causing the cooks to sweat a lot, which may have led to a higher salt concentration in the soup compared to my previous visit when it wasn't as salty. The smoked and rare chicken chashu remained consistently delicious. #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch

I used to watch an anime called "Ramen-loving Koizumi-san" and always wanted to visit this shop. I tried the evolved chicken white broth ramen this time. I ordered it with a burnt soy sauce marinated egg topping! It had a fragrant aroma and a rich chicken white broth aftertaste. Even though I had a non-alcoholic drink that day, I thought it would be nice to have it with a bottled beer. Thank you for the meal.

Creamy Chicken Paitan Ramen Shop in Namba, Osaka
On this day, we visited a ramen shop called "Bokko-shi" near Ame-mura in the evening. The ordering process was done through a ticket machine at the entrance. The ramen of the day was Chicken Paitan for 880 yen, and bottled beer for 550 yen. Please note that the prices on the menu at the table may differ. The beer was served promptly, and we only had to wait for about 10 minutes before the Chicken Paitan arrived.
The Chicken Paitan had a white soup base, with toppings such as chicken ham, chicken thigh, and kaiware. Although it looked rich with oil floating on top, the soup was surprisingly creamy and light, although slightly salty. The medium-thick straight noodles had a smooth and chewy texture that paired well with the soup. The chashu consisted of chicken breast and chicken thigh, both of which were not very thick but had a moist texture for the breast and a smoky flavor for the thigh.
This shop is part of a chain, so I would like to visit other branches as well. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Thank you.

Today, I visited Bokkoshi in Kitahama for some ramen. This time, I went to their branch in Namba for their chicken white broth ramen. It's located just a short walk from Namba Station. I ordered the chicken white broth ramen and it arrived in 8 minutes.
Soup: The soup is a creamy chicken white broth, light and refreshing even for women. It belongs to the chicken paitan style of soup.
Noodles: The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles with a satisfying firm texture. They go well with the soup and are easy to slurp down.
Chashu: The chashu is made from chicken breast, with two types available - low-temperature cooked and smoked. They provide a good chewy texture.
Overall, the chicken white broth ramen was light and easy to eat. Bokkoshi is located near America-mura and is open late, making it a great option for a post-drinks meal. The staff, consisting only of foreigners, were friendly and worked hard to provide good service. With table seating available, it's a convenient choice for groups.

I wanted to visit this restaurant. I ordered the classic chicken white broth ramen for 880 yen. The soup was amazing. The noodles had a bit of chewiness to them, which made them blend really well with the soup. I felt like I could finish it in no time, so I added an extra serving of noodles. The extra noodles were also delicious! They absorbed the soup well and didn't lose their flavor. I could probably go for another serving haha. Even though it's a ramen shop, it had a pasta-like quality that made it even more enjoyable. I definitely want to come back.

I visited the popular ramen shop, Bokko Shi, in Shinsaibashi with a rating of 3.65 on Tabelog. The exterior may be hard to spot, but there is usually a line. The unique feature of this place is its distinctive noodles and creamy rich soup. I ordered the normal and burnt chicken broth ramen, and the normal one was incredibly creamy, almost like carbonara. The burnt one had a flavor that was hard to describe, with a hint of bitterness and a scent of dried fish. It might be a taste that some people love and others dislike. The noodles were also quite unique, closer to pasta than traditional ramen. Overall, it's a mysterious and intriguing ramen that you should try if you're curious.

Around 9:30 on Sunday night, I visited the restaurant and although it was busy, I was able to get a seat without waiting as some customers left while I was buying my meal ticket. It seemed like they no longer offer the complimentary pickled plums or any other extras on the table, which made me a little sad as it was a routine that used to raise my expectations before the meal. This time, I chose the regular ramen. The soup here is delicious, so I think sticking to the regular toppings is the best choice. I had the plain ramen for my first bowl and added black pepper for the second bowl after getting a refill. The rich flavor of the chicken in the soup here is really tasty. Even though I usually don't finish my soup, this time I drank it all up until the last drop.

I waited for about 15 minutes around 9 pm on Friday as there was a small line. The soup was creamy but not too rich, more on the light side. The noodles were straight and not too thin, more like pasta. They were slightly firm and delicious.

I saw the reviews and decided to check it out since it was nearby. I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance because it was set back, but I eventually made it. I ordered the ramen with boiled egg, regular ramen, and chicken rice. The soup was very light yet rich, almost like eating carbonara! I found that adding black pepper halfway through gave it an extra kick, and I personally preferred it with black pepper.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. I arrived around 11:45 am and was seated right away. I ordered the rich chicken broth ramen using a food ticket. There was a slight delay in serving my order, possibly due to a mix-up with a foreign customer's order. The rich ramen takes a bit longer to prepare, but it was worth the wait. The soup was delicious and I ended up ordering an extra serving of noodles. I definitely want to go back again.

It was really rich. The last sip was too heavy. I think it would have been better with regular chicken broth. Chicken potage, chicken carbonara, chicken paste. I think that's the right way to describe it. But you really feel like you're eating chicken. Even though the noodles are thin straight noodles, they were still very rich. The smoked chashu was delicious. The seasoned egg didn't have much flavor. I want to try it again when I'm hungry. Extra meat 300, seaweed 150, seasoned egg 150, rich chicken broth ramen 1050.

Burnt chicken white broth with boiled egg. There is a counter and table seating available. Visited during weekday lunchtime. By 12:15, it was almost full. The staff lacked energy. The soup was creamy and the noodles were smooth. The flavored egg was firm. The burnt chicken white broth is the most popular. It was mentioned to have bitterness, but it wasn't too noticeable. The burnt flavor adds a unique touch to the chicken white broth.

At night, my family went to Bokko-shi in Shinsaibashi to eat ramen. There are counter seats right by the entrance, and table seats towards the back. Table seats are quite convenient for families with children! The walls were also cute. The ramen had a creamy chicken broth that was light and easy to eat! The kids loved it and gobbled it all up. We also ordered the burnt ramen, which had a flavor that might divide opinions. Personally, I prefer the regular chicken broth. The kids unexpectedly ate a lot, so we will definitely be coming back for more.

"Bokko-shi" My favorite chicken white broth dish in Osaka... *Chicken White Broth ¥780 (tax included) I've been coming here for about 7 years. I've tried other popular places, but this is still my favorite. It's not as crowded as it used to be, and I also love that they give you crispy plum slices. ------------------------------- Bokko-shi Osaka, Osaka City, Chuo-ku, Nishi-Shinsaibashi 2-6-10 06-6213-8570 ⌚️11:30-14:30 ⌚️18:00-23:30 Closed on Wednesdays Cash only on Tabelog 3.65 / Google 4.0 ------------------------------- #KansaiGourmet #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch #Namba #NambaLunch #NambaGourmet #LunchTour #Ramen #Lunch #RamenLovers #RamenInstagrammer #ChickenWhiteBroth #Bokko-shi #OsakaTravel #OsakaSightseeing #osaka #trip #foodporn #f4f
