The gift I received was a freshly baked cheese tart, although when you order online it is delivered frozen. They promote the concept that it can still be delicious even when cold. They also suggest a way to enjoy it chilled. It's hard to differentiate from other stores, like BAKE's cheese tart, which looks similar. I didn't know that the founder of BAKE is actually a relative of Kinotoya. The cheese tart has a shelf life of 4 days, making it ideal for consumption. It's delicious. Thank you for the treat.

I had been to Daimaru several times but always hesitated to buy it, but if I was so curious, why not give it a try! I bought the Shine Muscat omelette cake instead of the shortcake. It cost 756 yen. The Shine Muscat was of course plump, sweet, and delicious. The omelette cake was fluffy and refreshing, maybe even more so than a shortcake. As for the Mont Blanc, it was definitely chestnut, haha. Mont Blanc is also not my preference, but my partner seemed to enjoy it and devoured it. Even cakes that are not my personal preference can be deliciously enjoyed, which is the mark of Kinotoya's quality.

It's quite heavy, but the taste is very rich and well-balanced, like a variation of Mont Blanc. I think choosing Mont Blanc was a good idea because it goes well with the omelette batter. It's quite interesting, like eating a fluffy pancake folded in half, like a camellia sandwich. I recommend it as a souvenir for those who love sweets.

"Frege Maison" is a cake shaped like a house with three strawberries lined up inside, looking very cute. It's difficult to cut the strawberries so neatly to show the beautiful cross-section.
