I visited Matsumoto, which is only open on Wednesdays. This is my third visit since last fall. I purchased a ticket for pork bone char siu ramen with rice for 1300 yen. I was seated at the counter without having to wait in line. When asked for my preferences, I requested firm noodles, rich soup, and extra green onions - my recommended style. The ramen I received was a step above their usual quality. The soup had a very smooth and flavorful pork bone taste. The noodles paired well with it, and the tender char siu was delicious. This pork bone ramen is always tasty no matter how many times I have it. Adding plenty of spicy pickled greens to the rice on the table made me feel so happy! It was worth coming all the way here. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited "Kansai Furai-ken Osaka Honten," the highest-rated ramen shop in Sakai at the time of my visit (3.65). I tried the tonkotsu ramen with half-boiled egg (firm noodles) for 1050 yen, with a large serving for an additional 150 yen, and a bottle of beer for 600 yen. In conclusion, as someone who didn't enjoy "Menya Kyokutei" in Ichijoji, Kyoto, I found the ramen here too rich. The first third was enjoyable, but I started to get tired of it, and even trying to change the flavor with spicy pickled vegetables didn't help much. The strong soup became overwhelming like a body blow. The noodles were good, but I think this is purely a matter of personal preference, so take that into consideration.

Noodle firmness: normal, soup richness: light, extra green onions. Tonkotsu chashu ramen for 1100 yen. The green onions are thickly cut, overpowering the noodles. I would prefer them to be finely chopped. The chashu slices are thin and lacking in volume. The soup is light but flavorful. Perhaps I set my expectations too high based on the reviews. I'll stop by a convenience store on the way home.

Lunch on 8/29 at Sakai, Ogosho Street, at Furaiken Osaka Main Store. Furaiken is known for Miyazaki ramen, and the adventurous owner also trained at this shop. Had a half portion of tonkotsu ramen for 650 yen, and a W-soup half ramen with tonkotsu and shoyu for 650 yen. Also had mini fried rice for 400 yen and 5 pieces of gyoza for 280 yen. Shared the ramen circuit bonus of a seasoned egg with a friend. You can choose the firmness of the noodles, richness of the soup, and amount of green onions. The noodles were beautiful, and the soups were both light but flavorful. The fried rice was fluffy and moist. The shop has a convenient parking lot. Next time, I'll try the rich tonkotsu ramen. Great Osaka gourmet lunch spot.

This is definitely related to the reckless ramen shop. The style of the soup and noodles is the same. The difference is the richness after drinking the soup. It's still not quite up to par with the main reckless shop. It's tasty enough, but once you know the main shop, it's not satisfying. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles. The soup is of course tonkotsu, but compared to the main reckless shop, the oiliness is stronger. It's a different ramen shop, so it can't be helped, but I will take the time to go to the main shop. It was delicious, but I won't be a repeat customer.

After the Bon festival, a special treat. A rare treat for a poor salaryman. The reckless uncle who loves adventures also loves this training place ❤️ The taste is consistent as always, but today the saltiness was stronger. It must be because it's summer. I couldn't drink the soup as usual.

Furai-ken is recommending Sakai figure skater Tomono Kazuki, so I visited the restaurant a few times. Since I don't usually come around here on Wednesdays, I decided on Matsumoto's tonkotsu ramen today! I ordered a half portion, but it was still a satisfying amount. The bowl was small, but the broth was rich and delicious! I prefer slightly thicker noodles over the firm thin ones, but I think it would have been tough on my stomach during the summer heat if I had ordered a full portion. I hope the weather becomes more comfortable soon. Thank you for the meal!

The thick, rich soup clung well to the noodles and was extremely delicious. It's similar to Tenka's thick soup, which I personally enjoy. I imagine their fried rice and dumplings would also be delicious. The ramen with a boiled egg costs 1050 yen. I would like to visit again.

I recently left work early so I visited a ramen shop for the first time in a while. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with surprise extra noodles. It was rich and delicious, but today it was a bit too salty. The chashu was thin and the oiliness was a bit overwhelming. It's a shame. I had the tonkotsu shoyu last time and it was delicious, so next time I might order that instead.

It's been a while since I could eat in peace, so I was able to take a picture before digging in. The Kansai-style rich tonkotsu ramen had a strong saltiness that was a bit overwhelming. I'm someone who finishes the soup, so I felt a bit heavy afterwards. As someone who drives, finding a good restaurant with parking in this area is rare. I'll definitely go back again~

I visited this ramen shop to collect stamps for the circuit. I recommend the tonkotsu ramen here. When ordering, I asked for firm noodles, rich soup, and extra green onions. The special circuit reward here is the seasoned egg. I also added red pickled ginger, spicy mustard greens, and garlic soy sauce from the table condiments to customize my ramen. I forgot to add sesame seeds, so I'll sprinkle some later. The soup tonight was also delicious. I earned my 10th stamp here. Thank you for the meal. (2023/07/03 Update) 113 bowls [Tonkotsu: 83, Tsukemen: 25, Others: 5]

Despite having eaten tonkotsu ramen all over Kyushu, I ended up eating tonkotsu ramen again in Sakai City, Osaka. The thick and rich tonkotsu soup here has a nice viscosity, and the slightly thicker curly noodles complement it well. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited a ramen shop today for the third time. I was wondering if I could eat more, but when the ramen arrived and I took a sip of the soup, I was instantly energized! It was incredibly delicious! I was surprised to see that Matsumoto-san, who is usually there on Wednesdays, was there along with the staff and condiments like pickled vegetables. It turns out they were Wind Rakuken's condiments. Both the condiments and pickled vegetables were a perfect match for the delicious spicy pork bone ramen. Needless to say, I finished every last drop of the soup. I'm going to get fat again. LOL

"Tonkotsu ramen" for 900 yen with "extra noodles (2 servings)" for 150 yen. Noodles were firm, broth was rich, and there were plenty of green onions.
[Soup] Thick and creamy pork bone soup with plenty of lard, but no pork smell. The flavor was just right, not too strong.
[Noodles] Firm and chewy medium-thin noodles with less water content, perfect texture.
[Toppings] Rolled pork belly chashu, bamboo shoots, seaweed, and plenty of green onions.
After assembling an IKEA dresser at my daughter's house, I visited this place for the first time in over 3 years. It seems to have a connection with a reckless person. Although not as heavy as the reckless person's style, it was still rich enough. The large serving with 2 extra noodle portions and additional chashu was very satisfying. Enjoyed the long-awaited Furaiken ramen. Thank you for the meal!

I had a long-awaited taste of Miyazaki tonkotsu ramen~ Charge OK!! I tried the tonkotsu ramen with a side of small rice on June 3rd at "Furaiken Osaka Main Store". I purchased a ramen kit (500 yen for participation) and got a free boiled egg as a bonus. I sat at the counter and ordered regular noodles, thick soup, extra green onions, and added a side of small rice for 100 yen. The tonkotsu ramen was 900 yen and came with a delicious soft-boiled egg. The rich soy sauce soup with thick pork bone flavor paired perfectly with the homemade medium-thick noodles and large chashu slices. I also added some spicy pickled mustard greens for an extra kick. After finishing the noodles, I mixed the rice into the remaining soup for a tasty finish. I also couldn't resist buying some chashu slices to enjoy at home. I definitely want to go back again soon! Furaiken Osaka Main Store in Sakai City is a great place to enjoy delicious ramen.

"Osaka branch of Muteppou, known for their reckless training! Tonkotsu ramen with surprise extra noodles, total of ¥1,100.
1st photo: When served
2nd photo: Adding extra noodles
You can enjoy two bowls in one. The rich and creamy tonkotsu soup with medium-thick curly noodles needs no explanation. Spicy takana and red pickled ginger are available on the table for flavor variation. It's the best. Also, on weekends, you can get a free kids' ramen (details unclear). Will definitely come back."

Today is Saturday! Yes, it's my main job (*^◯^*) It seems like we are entering a slightly busy period! But it's much better compared to last year ( *`ω´) In the morning, I finished up quickly in Abeno-ku. Next is Sakai City Kita-ku... had some time before lunch. I thought about having fried chicken... no, wait. I'm in the mood for ramen, and the closest one is Ichiryu, but they don't serve garlic, so no Ichiryu for me (laughs). I haven't been to Fuurakuken yet, so I decided to go there! It's a branch in Osaka where the reckless president trained! It's about a 10-minute drive according to Google Maps (^-^) I'm happy they have free parking. When I entered the store... the interior was clean! Not that I'm saying Ichiryu is dirty \(//∇//)\ I ordered at the ticket machine... ■ Tonkotsu Ramen 900 yen. It's a bit pricey (・Д・) I was seated at the counter, and there were quite a few young staff members. They asked about my preferences. ■ Noodles: Firm ■ Flavor: As strong as possible ■ Green onions: As many as possible While waiting, I added sesame to the spicy pickled mustard greens... yeah, this is the original style (*^◯^*) The tonkotsu ramen arrived! The appearance... no visible pork fat? And the green onions were served separately \(//∇//)\ First, I tried the soup... rich and creamy soup! Slurped the noodles... they were medium-thin and curly, which absorbed the soup well (*^◯^*) Tried the chashu... I like the chashu here! In the end, I gave in to temptation and had two servings of garlic (laughs) and enjoyed a hearty meal. But personally, I prefer Ichiryu (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))♡ Thank you for the meal. Ramen: 14 Udon: 1 Soba: 2 【Total: 17 bowls】

I stopped by this restaurant near Sakai Station because I went there for work. I found out about this place when a figure skater I support was interviewed here. This was my second visit, and I enjoyed the light and refreshing tonkotsu ramen that doesn't cause stomach discomfort. I always leave satisfied and thinking "I want to eat here again."

I came here for work and was thinking about where to have lunch. I've been to Tamon before, so I decided to look for a new place. I was drawn to a place with a dark aura, so I looked up the information and decided to give it a try. I was a bit unsure at the ticket machine since there were no photos, but I went with the regular option. I also ordered a side of small rice with extra green onions, normal broth, and firm noodles. I quickly received my Chukadon. The broth was bold, and the noodles were chewy. I even made my own Chashu rice bowl. I finished all the soup too. It was satisfying, and I felt thirsty afterward, but overall, I was very satisfied.

I visited the Kansai-style restaurant, "Furaiten Osaka Honten," located near the Oimaiji street in Sakai, Osaka. The restaurant is close to the Oimaiji tram stop on the Hankai tram line. As someone who drove there, I found a coin parking lot next to the restaurant, which made parking convenient and safe. The interior of the restaurant was filled with families, businessmen, and students who all seemed to be ramen enthusiasts. I ordered the classic menu item, tonkotsu ramen, where you can choose the firmness of the noodles, richness of the soup, and amount of green onions. The tonkotsu ramen lived up to the expectations of being from a Miyazaki tonkotsu ramen shop, with a rich and flavorful broth that was surprisingly easy to eat. I quickly finished my meal and understood why this place is so popular.
