I had a duck meat salad pasta lunch. It was filled with fresh salad and cold pasta! I forgot to take a picture, but the soup appetizer was also delicious with plenty of onions. I chose a sesame dressing, which turned out to be a great choice. It had a lighter sweetness than I expected, and there was more duck meat than I thought, making it very satisfying. I was very happy with my meal!

Here’s the lunch pasta set! It featured pasta with lobster, along with a salad, coffee, and a choice of dessert—either cake or mini shaved ice. Since it’s a special occasion, I decided to go with the mini shaved ice. Being a specialty shop, the pasta was delicious, with the lobster sauce perfectly coating the clams and shrimp. And then there was the mini shaved ice! I actually asked, “Is this really mini?” because it seemed much larger than what I expected. Regular shaved ice is usually twice this size. Shaved ice in winter is also a delightful experience! I chose matcha milk flavor, and as expected from a specialty shop, it was fluffy and delicious!

While walking towards a hotel in Minami-Senju, I stumbled upon this lovely shop and decided to go in. The place was beautifully decorated for Halloween, and I ordered the limited-time Shining Grape. The shaved ice had grape syrup made from the whole grape, including the skin, so I could enjoy the crunchy texture and subtle bitterness of the skin. It was a really delicious shaved ice treat. The "strawberry shaved ice" here is incredibly delicious! Now, let's try the pasta. ★ Eggplant Arrabbiata / 1,200 yen with a drink included. According to the menu, it's the chef's recommendation for pasta. However, the flavor is weak, with sharp acidity and no sweetness. The saltiness also feels off to me. It's a taste that's difficult for me to appreciate.

On my way back from lunch, I saw a shop at the Namida Bridge intersection and decided to go in. It was a place I occasionally passed by, but I had never noticed it before. I learned they offer natural ice. I thought I'd just order the plain milk ice, and when it arrived, I realized it was quite cheap (laughs). Sometimes, I think a simple ice treat is nice, but actually, the ice itself didn't have any flavor; it was just plain. Since it was hot outside, munching on the ice alone was quite enjoyable. When I added the milk, it turned sweet and I finished it quickly. When I entered, there were no other customers, but by the time I left, the shop was quite busy, with everyone enjoying flashy ice creations (laughs). I wondered if I should have ordered something like that too. Well, I came in to beat the heat, so a simple ice treat was enough for me, I guess (laughs). Oh, and I had thought a few days ago that this would be my last ice of the year, but when it's hot, you just crave it, don’t you? (laughs)

I visited on Saturday at 3 PM. I had made a reservation in advance for a peach sparkling drink. It was topped with peach slices, and the espuma, flavored with milk and Calpis, had a gentle taste that didn't make my head hurt, allowing me to enjoy it until the end. Unlike many other shaved ice shops that pressure you to eat quickly, this place felt welcoming, offering warm tea and a comfortable space to enjoy your treat. 【Taste】Although it was still hot, the dish perfectly matched the early autumn vibe of September. The shaved ice contained some yogurt, adding to the volume. The ice itself was fluffy, allowing me to finish it without getting a headache.

There’s a rare shaved ice shop that is open until midnight! I've been curious about it every time I passed by before it opened, and I finally got to visit. It was just before 10 PM on a Sunday, and the place was lively, with about 3 to 4 groups inside at all times. Even after one group left, another came in, so it seems there's a steady demand. I tried the homemade strawberry sauce with fresh strawberries for 1800 yen and the matcha milk sauce for 1600 yen. The strawberry sauce was sweet and allowed me to really taste the strawberries. There was also strawberry sauce inside, so every bite was flavorful. The matcha milk was refreshing, and the red bean paste that came out from inside provided a nice contrast to the cold dessert, allowing me to enjoy it slowly until the end. I had initially thought about asking to remove the red bean paste since I wanted something not too sweet, but it turned out to be a nice addition. I highly recommend it. I usually go to a famous shop in Umejima, but they close by 4 PM, so when I want shaved ice as a dessert after dinner, this place is a great option. They also have a variety of snacks like pasta and sausages, so it's nice that you can complete a meal with drinks and dessert all in one place. The only downside was that we ordered two shaved ices for two people, but my order arrived significantly before my husband’s. Since it was shaved ice, we couldn't wait to start eating, and his arrived only after I had eaten about half of mine. There were two shaved ice machines, so it seemed they could prepare two orders at once, but it appeared that my husband’s order and another table’s were served simultaneously. I wish they could think a bit more about the operation. It would have been better if they had served both orders together at our table, even if it meant a longer wait. I’m looking forward to trying the pasta next time, so I will definitely visit again.

I ventured to Minamisenju and stopped by Kakigori Honpo once again. This time, I decided to try something other than the strawberry flavor I had last time and went for the burnt caramel melon. It came with a delicious fluffy whipped cream and had plenty of juicy melon pieces mixed in, making it a rich treat. The yuzu yogurt also looked delicious!

On a hot summer day, I wanted to enjoy some delicious shaved ice, so I went to Kakigori Honpo in Minamisenju and had the strawberry shaved ice. It came with homemade strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries, whipped cream espuma, and condensed milk. Since it was quite hefty, I ordered a soft drink, and we decided to share it between the two of us. There were plenty of strawberries inside, and it was very tasty!

(I ordered) Night Cocktail Ice - Piña Colada for 1500 yen and Homemade Strawberry Sauce for 2000 yen. This was my first visit. Since it was summer, the restaurant was nicely cool, which was perfect. The shaved ice was delicious, and the alcoholic shaved ice was particularly refreshing since it was my first time trying it. It's only about a 7-minute straight walk from Minamisenju Station, so the access is good!

I went to check it out around 4 PM, but except for the counter seats, it was fully booked. Since they serve pasta and other dishes, I imagine it gets even busier during lunch and dinner hours. The abundance of counter seating gives off a welcoming vibe for solo diners, and surprisingly, they have quite a variety of drinks, making it a good option for visiting as a bar at night. I'm grateful that it has opened up close to my home.

The caramelized melon with perfectly ripe melon and caramel sauce was an outstanding combination that kept me enjoying it until the end! I started feeling cold halfway through, but the shop served warm hojicha tea with the shaved ice, and it was great that I could refill it as much as I wanted! Truly impressive!

I discovered a new shaved ice shop and made the effort to walk from Asakusa to visit it. You might also be able to reach it by taking a bus to Minami-Senju. The shaved ice has become quite popular recently and is a bit on the pricier side, but it was very delicious. The flavors were excellent. It seems that they also operate as a bar in the evenings. The shop appeared to be bustling with inbound customers and families. Thank you for the lovely experience!

I was feeling lost because a place that used to serve authentic kakigori (shaved ice) in Nippori and Minami-Senju stopped offering it. Then I discovered this shop, and I’m so glad I did! The kakigori here is fantastic, made with finely shaved ice, fresh cream, various flavored espuma, and fresh fruits. The hojicha (roasted green tea) served cold, with unlimited refills, was excellent too. Not only do they offer kakigori, but they also have a great selection of pasta and alcohol. Being open until midnight is just the icing on the cake! It’s a wonderful place without any downsides. I will definitely go again!

There wasn't a standout menu item; it was just an ordinary shaved ice shop. The flavors were consistently good. They also served pasta, but it wasn’t fresh pasta—just regular pasta. The taste wasn’t exceptional, more like something you’d make at home if you really tried. Thank you for the meal!

There was no wait, and I was smoothly guided to my seat. I ordered the Earl Grey mango and the pine and hydrangea flavors. The service was prompt, and both desserts included pieces of fruit, toppings, and syrup, which kept the flavors rich and enjoyable until the end. I also appreciated that the staff brought over the tea, even though it was labeled as self-service. I felt it was a nice touch. It’s a place I would like to visit again casually.
