Yoshiyasu in Kushiro. I knew about it from my business trip and always thought their meat looked delicious. However, the journey from Kushiro to Sapporo is too far, so I couldn't buy it. But then, I found it in a supermarket in Sapporo! Yoshiyasu Hamburg, frozen. I bought it immediately! Let's defrost and cook it. It was just as I expected! The meat is so tender and sweet! This Hamburg is a must-try. Delicious Hamburg, the meat is just so tasty. Thank you for the meal. I have bought more and it's waiting in the freezer.

I bought a Char Siu Bao and a Double Cheese Bao. It's convenient to eat them in the microwave. They have more volume than typical Chinese buns. They are full of ingredients and have a satisfying taste. I might try to conquer all varieties someday, haha. I crave them occasionally. They were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I tried the Marimo Man from the meat workshop Yoshiasu in Kushiro. The filling inside is made with 100% Akanko venison meat, which is very meaty. The sauce, similar to demi-glace, is very fragrant and delicious!! The skin is kneaded with bamboo grass to create the vivid green color of the marimo. It was a delicious meat bun with a strong flavor.

The Genghis Khan here is delicious. My wife also said, "Buy it again!" It's in Kushiro, and I'm alone. I'm following a memo but I've been rejected by two places. There's no point in trying to make up for it, but since I was rejected by a bento shop, should I try to make up for it? I told my wife, who is working today, "I'm going to Kushiro," and she said, "So you're going to buy various things?" I'm being relied on, so when I arrived, I thought, "Huh? This isn't a bento shop, it's a butcher shop." I was planning to stop by the butcher shop last, but I guess I was wrong. Oh well, I'll cancel the bento shop visit and skip the butcher shop that I was planning to visit last. When I went in, there were various meats lined up in a not-so-wide space. So what should I buy? I hesitated and ended up choosing Genghis Khan. It's just a normal frozen Genghis Khan, but what caught my attention is the part that most people would avoid, which is the fatty part. The staff took a while to come out when I was hesitating, and when I was still undecided, they went back inside. The back is actually a factory. They are very dedicated to their work. So, I cooked the Genghis Khan in a pot. I didn't have high expectations, as it's just a frozen Genghis Khan in a bag, but this kind of Genghis Khan usually tastes salty to me, but this one isn't salty. The meat is tender. The sauce is delicious. The meat is tender and has just the right amount of fat. I really liked it and will definitely buy it again.

I came to Kushiro on a casual night. Finally, it seems that spring has arrived in Kushiro, as it is not as cold and shivery at night as before (although the cherry blossoms have not bloomed yet). In this atmosphere, I happened to stumble upon a place that caught my interest, so I decided to check it out. The location is along Aikoku Kitazono Street, a fairly busy street, a few intersections north of the CVS Seikoma Bunen store, and after passing a couple of signalized intersections, you will see it on your right shortly. There is parking space for about 4 cars in front of the store. This area is not usually visited by people other than local residents, so it was surprisingly a residential area. It was 6:20 PM when I arrived, and there was one customer already inside. There was a sign at the front of the store advertising a renewal sale for pork buns. Upon entering, a friendly female staff warmly greeted me. This place was originally a butcher shop. They offer Hokkaido-produced beef, as well as "Kaiso Pork" raised in the nearby area, but it's not just a plain glass case with meat like a traditional butcher shop. The central space of the store is filled with various frozen pork buns with eye-catching packaging labeling them as a new specialty of Kushiro. The variety has expanded from the classic pork buns, and I couldn't immediately grasp how many types there were. From Marimo buns made with 100% Ezo deer meat from Akanko, to cheese pork buns from a collaboration with a local cheese shop, to ANI-ON! collaboration buns with a Hokkaido FM station Air-G, it's quite impressive. I was curious about many of them, but I ended up purchasing three types of pork buns on sale (I don't like red bean buns). At the checkout, the staff kindly explained how to heat up the pork buns (Thank you). I heated them up at home right away. The basic method is to microwave them for 3 minutes, and when you hear a "pshh" sound as the air escapes, let them sit for about 10 seconds, and they're ready. I started with the pork bun... delicious! It's packed with Kaiso Pork and the Genghis Khan sauce-based seasoning is a perfect match. This flavor should appeal to everyone. Next was the spicy pork bun with beef. The package described it as spicy as a pizza, but I hardly felt any spiciness. It contained both pork and beef. Lastly, I tried the highly anticipated Char Siu pork bun. I expected the Char Siu, slow-cooked overnight, to be more prominent, but it was disappointingly minimal. It was tender, but lacked juiciness. The first pork bun was great, so I had high expectations for the others, but at this price range, it was just okay. However, it seems they are constantly improving, with updates like new dough, so if they continue to evolve, it might truly become a new specialty that Kushiro can be proud of. Dreams are not meant to be dreamt alone. Thank you for the meal. *They also have an online shop, so you can order their products online. Please give it a try.

◆June 2015◆ I was looking for delicious Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) in Kushiro and decided to visit this place. It is located near the Bunen Seven Eleven. It seems like they relocated from another place, as the exterior and interior are clean and nice. They seem to specialize in a brand of pork called "Seaweed Pork". They sell fresh meat by weight, but their main focus seems to be on selling packaged frozen products. The menu includes Seaweed Pork Genghis Khan, Hormone, Kushiro Seaweed Pork Bun, and more. [Items purchased] - Seasoned lamb Genghis Khan: The sauce is miso-based and has a nostalgic taste. Despite being frozen, it was reasonably priced and delicious. - Kushiro Seaweed Beef and Pork Bun: A bun with beef and pork, with a slightly spicy taste reminiscent of Chinese cuisine. It's full of meat, just like a butcher shop. - Yoshisuke Hamburg: A meaty hamburger that really tastes like meat. I remember seeing Seaweed Pork Bun and Genghis Khan being sold at the Yokocho in Kitami before. I would like to go check it out next time and try the Seaweed Pork as well.

The Zangi bento for 550 yen has an incredible volume! It comes with a sweet and sour, thick sauce drizzled on top. The crispy texture of the Zangi is irresistible! This place is a butcher shop, so they also have various types of meat and frozen pork buns. I would love to have a BBQ using their meat.

I received a frozen pork bun as a gift and tried it. I apologize for the half-eaten picture, I forgot to take a photo because it was so delicious and I devoured it. I microwaved it in the bag for about 3 minutes until the bag fully inflated, then it was ready to eat! The pork was plentiful and tender, with a sweet and rich sauce soaked in. It's delicious. The base sauce is said to be similar to Genghis Khan sauce. I love meat buns and sweet buns, and I often eat them from convenience stores to restaurants. I live within walking distance of Chinatown, so I often buy meat buns and sweet buns for takeout or to eat on the go, but so far, I think this pork bun is the most delicious. Plenty of meat! The flavor is strong! It's not greasy, and the skin, even though microwaved in the bag, remains firm and has a thick, fluffy texture. I checked the website to see if I could order more despite the shipping cost, and it's only 270 yen! The quality is high, but the price is low. If you want a firm skin and a quality bun, you usually have to go to a specialty store or Chinatown, where they cost around 400-500 yen. I prefer the meat and sauce flavor of this bun over others. It's a different kind of sweetness compared to the sweetness of 551's meat buns. I recommend it as a gift or treat for someone.

I happened to find "Yoshiyasu" curry at a souvenir shop in August 2021, so I decided to buy it. Yoshiyasu is known for its meat buns and cheese buns, but I didn't know they had curry. I ate it at home right away, and it was a chicken curry with a big chicken leg in it. When I took a bite, it was sweet. It was so sweet, I wonder why they made it so sweet. Behind the sweetness, there is another layer of sweetness. It's like a romantic curry from Betsukai, they are neck and neck. No, the romantic curry won. Well, maybe it lost in terms of sweetness. I'm a bit confused now. I'm not a fan of spicy curry, but I realized I'm not a fan of sweet curry either. I didn't expect this kind of curry to exist. No, it's delicious, really delicious. The chicken is tender and well-cooked. I wish they had written "mild curry" on it though. Thank you for the meal.

I tried to buy shabu-shabu meat for dinner, but it seems like it will take 15-20 minutes if I don't reserve in advance. I gave up on the meat and bought some frozen pork buns. I don't usually buy these kinds of things, so I'm a little excited. I bought them for breakfast. The cooking instructions for steaming and using the microwave are written on the back. I tried heating them up one by one in the microwave. They are very hot. Be careful not to burn yourself. But the insides are piping hot and delicious! The simple pork bun is juicy and filling, while the pizza-style double cheese bun has a spicy aroma and the meat and cheese mix well, making it very good. The kombu pork bun has quite a bit of thin kombu inside, and surprisingly, it's a perfect match! The cheese bun is hot, gooey, and stretchy! The cheese flavor is not overpowering, and you even get honey on the side, although I haven't tried it yet, haha. I recommend eating these pork buns while they're hot. If they cool down, the skin becomes tough. It might be good for those who like a crispy texture. Next time, I'll try grilling the meat on a BBQ.

I found something interesting at the Ramen Festival in Kushiro called "Ramen Man" and decided to try it out. It looks like a meat bun, and in the middle, there is something that looks like ramen. When I took a bite, it really tasted like ramen mixed with the meat bun. It was actually quite enjoyable and not bad at all. It might be a fun novelty item to try again at future events. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Received two types of pork buns in August 2018 - Char siu butaman & Yoshiyasu butaman. Didn't have a chance to eat them for a while, so stored them in the freezer. These pork buns can be microwaved, but I was afraid they might get tough, so I steamed them instead. I wanted to enjoy them as a snack, so I cut them into pieces. Both buns were packed with filling. They had a satisfying chewiness and were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Visited Ushino's house on 23/9/17 and had yakiniku with plenty of Premium Malts beer. Then went to Marui-san's Hokkaido Taste Market at Marui-san and tried the "Tiger Tail" from Hokuno Kashi. I was intrigued by the meat buns here, so I bought one. Since the event was ending soon, I went down to B2F and sat on a bench to eat it. The meat bun was big and filled with plenty of meat, making it THE meat bun and very delicious! It's a taste that makes you want it to come to Sapporo as well, not just in Kushiro!

I bought it at an event before. The character of the pig was cute, so I tried it... (laughs) *Yoshiyasu's Butaman had a strong flavor that I really liked and it was delicious!! It was big and had a satisfying texture. I don't remember the price, but it didn't give me the impression of being too expensive. *I also bought Yoshiyasu's Toriman because the Butaman was so delicious, but I only remember that the meat bun was tastier (*´з`) laughs. I thought it was very convenient that you could just put it in the microwave in the bag. The Butaman was incredibly delicious! I want to eat it again...!!
