I had Zangi + Ramen + Small Rice, haha. What? The lunch set has been increased by 930 yen. I've been here a few times and the price and portion size are good, and it's delicious. But now there's a price increase. It's a shame, even though it's just 50 yen, haha. As always, the ramen has a light yet flavorful taste, and the extra-large Zangi is irresistibly delicious, haha. However, the batter is not crispy, it's hard and crunchy, which can be tough on the jaw, haha. The stir-fried bean sprouts are also good, haha. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.

On the way back from Otaru, I suddenly craved fried rice and looked it up. I found this shop in Nishino, where the friendly owner offers a delicious lunch set even on Sundays. The set includes soy sauce ramen and fried rice for 930 yen, which is quite affordable. The ramen portion is normal size and the fried rice is about 80% of a full portion, which is quite satisfying. The ramen has an old-fashioned chicken-like flavor with a bit more oil, and the noodles are chewy and medium-thick. The fried rice is very tasty, with a good balance of flavors and a nice texture. The shop is run by a couple, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. If there was a shop like this nearby, I would want to come every day.

I had miso ramen. I arrived in the evening, so it took 30 minutes to get my order, and the atmosphere was terrible as there were no other customers. The ramen soup was too strong with artificial seasoning, lacking in flavor, and the flat noodles were interesting but too soft. The chashu was also quite tough. It made me realize that there are many different kinds of restaurants out there.

Today for lunch, I decided to try a new restaurant near my parents' house. From the outside, I thought it looked like a sketchy Chinese restaurant commonly found in the Kanto and western regions, but I was wrong. I arrived at the restaurant a little after 12 pm, which was only a 10-minute walk away. The humidity inside was high, causing my glasses to fog up, so I took them off when I sat down. There were no other customers at the time. I ordered the vegetable stir-fry set with soy sauce ramen, which cost 880 yen including tax. The set included soy sauce ramen, vegetable stir-fry, and a small portion of rice. While waiting for my order, my glasses cleared up and I noticed a noren hanging above the counter that read "Akahira Nishi High School 50th Anniversary Reunion." I asked the owner about it and learned that they graduated from Akahira Nishi High School in 1975, which was a few years before I graduated from the nearby Teine Higashi Junior High School. The owner and I chatted for a bit until my order was ready. The restaurant seemed to have a lot of takeout orders, so my food was prepared in between handling those orders. The presentation was simple. The soy sauce ramen had a traditional Chinese soup base, and the pork didn't look very tender, but it had a unique flavor. The rice was a small portion, and the vegetable stir-fry included Chinese cabbage. The ramen was delicious, with a flavorful soup that had just the right amount of saltiness. The noodles had a good texture and paired well with the soup. I tried the pork, which had a nice chewy texture, almost like rare char siu. Despite its unassuming appearance, the food was surprisingly tasty. I finished the ramen and moved on to the vegetable stir-fry, which was also well-seasoned and delicious. The rice was a bit lacking in quantity, but overall, the meal was satisfying. I drank the remaining soup as I finished my meal. This ramen had a classic flavor and the pork was delicious, making it a great dish. I look forward to trying their char siu ramen next time.

Today's lunch was at Nishi Aji-san. I had been curious about this place since I stopped by Nishi Police Station for license renewal. It has more of an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant vibe rather than a ramen shop. The interior is brightly lit, and the menu is typical of a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the Mini Mapo Tofu Donburi Set (with soy sauce ramen) from the affordable lunch menu. It arrived in about 10 minutes. As rumored, the "mini" portion of the lunch set was almost a full serving of Mapo Tofu Donburi. First, I tried the soy sauce ramen. The soup had a very gentle flavor, with a slightly sweet taste reminiscent of old-fashioned soy sauce ramen. It was really good. The Mapo Tofu Donburi was a bit overwhelming in terms of portion size, but after the first bite, I was impressed. It was delicious! I fell in love with it in just one bite. The Mapo Tofu had a great flavor, with just the right amount of spiciness and a focus on umami. It's rare to find Mapo Tofu like this nowadays, so it was somewhat of a revelation. I wanted to try the Mapo Tofu Ramen after tasting the Mapo Tofu, but unfortunately, it wasn't on the menu. I alternated between the ramen and the donburi, enjoying each bite slowly. It's been a while since I've savored a bowl of donburi like this!

I went to the police station to register my bicycle for security purposes, and on my way back, I stopped by this restaurant. It is located right in front of the police station, so it is frequented by police officers. I hadn't eaten anything since morning, so I ordered the lunch set with fried rice and ramen. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is like an old-fashioned ramen shop, and the chef in the kitchen seems like a quiet and stoic person who would suit a cigarette in his mouth. The fried rice set arrived a few minutes after ordering. I thought the ramen would be a small size since the main dish was fried rice, but it turned out to be a huge serving of ramen. I couldn't finish it all because I was so hungry, but I was relieved inside. The fried rice had a homely taste, more like a stir-fried rice, and the ramen tasted like the ones I used to order for delivery when I was a kid. Regardless of the taste, I was very satisfied with the price of 880 yen for this amount of food. If I get too hungry again, I would definitely want to come back here.

In the same neighborhood, there are places or shops that we haven't had a chance to visit, right? One of those for me was Nishiaji. I had some errands to run outside and decided to stop by on my way back. The parking lot in front of the shop only fits about two cars, so timing is crucial. I arrived around 11:30 and luckily there were no other customers. My main goal here was the "Zangi Lunch Set" as I love Zangi. The set came with miso ramen as well. The presentation was satisfying, with freshly fried Zangi and stir-fried bean sprouts on the side. The miso ramen was okay, a bit salty for my taste, but the Zangi was delicious! The chicken, marinated in soy sauce, was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The set also came with a small portion of rice, pickles, and a side dish. The value for money was excellent at 880 yen. Next time, I might try a different ramen with another lunch set. I found a cheap and delicious restaurant! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I finished work early in the morning on January 23, 2020, so I decided to visit a restaurant in Nishi Ward. I didn't know much about it, so I just walked in. It was around 11:30 am and there were no other customers. I sat at the counter and looked at the menu, where I noticed they had a variety of set meals. I was intrigued by the "Fried Rice Set for 880 yen." I ordered soy sauce ramen, which was light and easy to eat. The fried rice was a full portion, not a half portion, and it was fluffy and delicious. The portion size was quite generous for the price of 880 yen. After me, more customers started coming in. I could see why - it felt like the kind of place I would visit regularly if it were in my neighborhood. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

In front of Sapporo Nishi Police Station. I came here after work ended late because they are open until 10 pm. At 8:30 pm, there were no customers. The traffic was also low, and the atmosphere was quiet due to the time. I tried the recommended chicken salt ramen and fried rice. The ramen was delicious, but the fried rice was the highlight with its perfect taste! This place seems to have a good atmosphere for dishes other than ramen. Next time, I want to try something other than ramen from the menu.

It's been almost 4 years since I went to eat there, and I want to go back to confirm. The name of the restaurant is "Nishi-san," which may be because it's located in Nishi ward, or maybe it's named after someone from Nishino who I used to know. The set includes fried rice and ramen, each serving for one person, giving a feeling like two protagonists appearing at the same time. The cost performance is fantastic! The volume is satisfying and reasonable, making it an irresistible place for locals. The ramen and chashu were basic and typical, with a salt ramen that had a simple combination of chashu, chopped green onions, and bamboo shoots. The noodles felt like the standard Sapporo ramen type. The fried rice was moist and had a nice texture, with ingredients like green onions and egg mixed in, making it quite delicious. The atmosphere didn't leave a good impression on me. I won't go into details, but that also affected my taste evaluation. Restaurant Information: Nishi Aji, 3-4-11-32 Nishino 3-jo, Nishi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido.

5-star Chicken Rice for 650 yen I came here looking for Chicken Rice ε=(ノ・∀・)ツ When I was a child..... in my hometown, there were no specialty shops, and most places were like Chinese restaurants. In those places, alongside fried rice, there was always "Chicken Rice" on the menu. But now, it's rare to see it ( ´-ω-) I searched for a place that makes Chicken Rice made in a wok with strong heat! But I couldn't find it anywhere. So, I had to check each menu image one by one until I found it (lol) I'm persistent v( ̄Д ̄)v Near a famous discount supermarket, there were cars parked in the parking lot before 7 pm on weekends, but there were no customers. The inside was cleaner than the exterior w They didn't have beer..... too bad (;´Д⊂) The Chicken Rice had a lot of chicken, and it was very filling! The burnt onions added a nice touch♪ It wasn't too mushy, just the right amount of moistness. The pickled ginger didn't really go well with it (lol) It's okay to have it, but it's also okay not to have it. The soup doesn't show well in the picture, but it's actually served in a small bowl w It's salty and delicious♡ During my visit, no customers came in, but the phone for delivery orders rang frequently. Thank you for the meal (^ω^)

I visited a Chinese restaurant located in front of Nishi-Ku Nishi Police Station for lunch on a certain weekend. There is parking space for about 3 cars in front of the restaurant. The interior consists of a counter and 2 tables. Background music is playing from an FM radio somewhere. Despite being attracted to several lunch sets on the menu that day, I couldn't resist the "Original" option, so I ordered the "Charlou Donburi (800 yen)." After a while, the dish finally arrived. I took a bite and indeed, this might be my first time trying this dish! The meat (pork?) was coated and deep-fried to a crispy texture on the outside, with a juicy oiliness inside, complemented by a soy-based sauce that went well with the rice. Other ingredients included Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts, green peppers, onions, and pickled ginger, which added a nice contrast to the flavors. The rice portion was quite generous, so I was glad I didn't order ramen as well. Finally, I finished with a seaweed soup with added sesame oil for flavor. Overall, the menu was convenient for locals and the meal was satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

I have been following a low-carb diet for about a week now, but yesterday and today I ended up eating ramen, soba noodles, rice, and pasta. Oh well, once in a while is okay, right? Let me introduce the miso ramen I had for lunch yesterday from Nishimiya. In short, it's a delicious Sapporo-style miso ramen that has been around for a long time. As you can see in the photo, it's quite simple, but you can tell they have confidence in the taste. It was nostalgic and tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Welcome.---------- March 2016 ----------Along Yamate-dori, there are two doors next to each other at Sanmeet Kimura, but the one with a curtain is the entrance. Yuugachon: "Welcome~♪" The white-coated To-san exudes a relaxed atmosphere, similar to the owner. The wife is like a motherly figure at home, helping To-san. There was another person, but at that time, the couple was managing the place. Everyone exudes a calm aura. There are 6 counter seats and 3 tables. The tables and chairs show signs of wear and tear. It doesn't feel like a typical ramen shop. The lunch set options have expanded, from ramen to Chinese dishes and set meals. After ordering, the irresistible miso flavor and Chinese influences come through. The sizzling sounds of stir-frying are either not audible or drowned out by other noises. "Your lunch set is ready~♪" The owner brings it over. I chose the miso ramen set, which comes with less toppings. The broth is light with an old-fashioned chicken flavor. The miso adds a gentle richness. The chashu is tender and flavorful. The menma, green onions, and firm wavy noodles complement each other well. The "mini mapo tofu curry" caught my eye, but it turned out to be a mini tofu curry. The dish looks different from the typical curry. The taste is unique and mysterious. Before I could ponder further, the culprit of the sizzling sounds was the tender zangi. Coated in thick starch, it's rich in flavor. It felt like a "mini zangi curry." Did the owner mishear me? Despite the delightful mistake, the curry sauce has an ethnic flavor without a strong spice profile. The owners were also enjoying it during their break. If this is the restaurant's signature taste, I'd prefer curry dishes over Chinese ones. Thank you for the meal.

In March 2015, Ramen Shoumi is a local ramen shop that also serves omurice and various rice bowl dishes. I visited for lunch with my usual companion for the first time. The shop is located in Sapporo's Nishi Ward, along Yamanote Street, across from the Sapporo Nishi Police Station. The exact location can be confirmed on Tabelog. We visited around 1 pm on a weekday and parked in the shop's parking space. The interior of the shop, while showing its age, is quite clean. There are two 4-person tables, one 2-person table, and a counter with about 6 seats. There were no customers when we arrived, but two customers came in later. I ordered the "Chicken Rice Set" with miso ramen from the lunch menu, while my companion chose the "Seafood Cantonese Men." The shop is run by a family of three, with the husband and wife managing the shop and their son handling deliveries. Despite no customers before us, it took about 15 minutes for our ramen to arrive. The Chicken Rice Set had a nostalgic tomato ketchup flavor with chicken and onions, and the Seafood Cantonese Men had a salt-based soup with a good variety of seafood and vegetables. The Chicken Rice was a comforting taste from the past, and the seafood in the Cantonese Men was of good quality. The miso ramen, however, lacked in ingredients. Overall, it was a rare find of a local ramen shop that also offers delivery service. I look forward to trying the "Chicken Rice Set" with soy sauce next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

It is located across from Nishi Police Station along Yamanote Street. I pass by almost every day on weekdays, so I was always curious about it. However, this store front has elements of taking a chance. There is a possibility of it being a very common, old-fashioned, rushed establishment. Well, rather than thinking, the conclusion is already set, so the man silently enters. There are several parking spaces in front of the store. Upon entering, the interior of the store feels nostalgic. Just as I passed by a staff member carrying okamochi, I, who have no fond memories of delivery service, felt a little uneasy. The set menu is extensive. I ordered the fried rice and salt ramen set for 830 yen. There are a few table seats and only counter seats. From the certificates displayed in the store, I learned that the store is called "Nishiaji" and pronounced "Shoumi". It arrived in about 10 minutes. Both portions are decent. The ramen is a universal Sapporo style, but the garlic and pepper are slightly strong. The noodles are Kaneshin, according to the curtain. They are medium-thick curly noodles. The chashu is delicious. It is thickly sliced and tender, not like a melt-in-your-mouth braised pork, but with a chewy texture. The menma is ordinary. The fried rice is delicious. I felt that the stir-fried ingredients were somewhat unique, but I finished eating before I could fully taste them, so I'll try them next time. The ramen portion is slightly small, but when combined with the fried rice, it's enough for about 1.5 people, so even those with a big appetite will be satisfied. The ramen lunch sets are all 830 yen, and besides fried rice, there are various other options like stir-fried vegetables, zangi, and gyoza. Smoking is allowed. In the end, I thought it was a good store that is demanded by the local community enough to do delivery. Since there were quite a few Chinese-style menu items, I will visit again.

Shoumi Ramen Shoumi Sapporo, Nishi-ku, Nishino Sanjo 4-11-32 Previously located next to Sanpachi Ramen on Kitaichijo Street, but now seems to have moved in front of Nishi Police Station on Yamanote Street. From the outside, it's hard to tell if it's open, making it a bit intimidating to enter. Inside, it has an old-fashioned diner atmosphere. When asking for recommendations, they said they didn't have any, so I decided to order the Negi Ramen (750 yen). The flavor seemed to be soy sauce-based, although I wished they had specified between miso, salt, or soy sauce. The soup arrived with charred leeks on top, giving it a nostalgic soy sauce flavor with a strong saltiness. The medium-thick curly noodles were chewy, and the sautéed leeks had a slightly acidic, oily taste. It felt more like a Chinese diner, and I imagine it would go well with other rice dishes like fried rice. They also offer delivery, so maybe that's their main focus.

I have been a big fan of this place for about 10 years. The staff are nice and the taste is perfect. They moved to a location that was unpopular in the area as a "tenant that always goes out of business when they move there," and I was very worried that they might go out of business, but it was needless worry. They also offer delivery. Since I am a regular, they know my name and location just by mentioning it, and when I order a specific ramen, they make it to my liking (strong flavor, firm noodles) without me having to say anything. The only problem is that the parking lot is small and hard to park in. It's a space where you can fit about two cars. Please try it once. It's delicious.

"The ramen shop that serves delicious fried rice is a great place," a friend said. This shop is just like that. Nowadays, many ramen shops don't offer rice dishes, but Nishimiya-san has a wide variety of rice dishes on the menu. In fact, the menu is quite extensive. One recommended dish is the Charro Don. It's said to be an original menu item here. Thinly sliced pork and vegetables stir-fried in a sweet and savory sauce on top of hot rice - it's irresistible. It comes with soup and costs either 750 yen or 800 yen. It's located near my workplace, so I use it occasionally."
