In the rural station of Kibetsu, there is a place called "Kimo Betsu" where you can enjoy a leisurely nap while waiting for the train. During the 30 minutes of free time, you can also enjoy some daytime drinking, which is a win-win situation. You can purchase food tickets from the vending machine or order directly at the shop. The large beer in a plastic cup costs 600 yen, and it seems that not many people order it, as the server was not connected at first. One of the menu items is the "Seriously in Love with Umami Salted Zangi" for 600 yen. It is quickly served from pre-made batches in a warm bag, which is convenient for takeout. The crispy and non-greasy coating made with rice flour maintains its texture even when cold. There is no overpowering meat smell, and the saltiness is just right. It was called a moving kitchen, but it was not a kitchen car. It was a self-service restaurant in the food court. I had curry with zangi. The taste was average (I'm sorry), but there are few dining options in this area. I'm glad I could eat here! They also sold soft serve ice cream. The ramen shop next to the food court was closed. The receipt said "Hokudai Mae Shokudo CIERVO".

The restaurant "mouving kitchen CIERVO" in Kimobetsu's "Satation of the Village, Hottokimobetsu" was previously located in front of Hokkaido University, but closed in 2021. It later opened a branch in the food court of Ito Yokado in Fukuju, but that also closed after a few months. There were rumors of opening a new branch near Shin-Kotoni 1st Street, but this is unconfirmed at the moment. The new branch offers a menu featuring their popular "delicious salted chicken" and "fatty meat curry," as well as udon, tonkatsu, and trendy items like "Maritozzo." They also serve alcohol such as highball, draft beer, and lemon sour. New seafood dishes have been added to the menu, but except for "salmon roe salmon bowl" and "salmon roe bowl," everything else is sold out according to the ticket vending machine. On the day of the visit, only a "soft serve ice cream @390" was ordered. The soft serve had a smooth and creamy texture with a hint of milk flavor, most likely made using an Italian Carpigiani machine. I was a little hungry, so I decided to buy something here. I chose the "Kimomeshi" takeout menu (500 yen), which is a set with fried chicken, sausages, and onigiri. I bought a food ticket from the vending machine that only accepts 1000 yen bills, and handed it to the counter. They said, "Today we don't have onigiri, is that okay?" Well, I already bought the ticket, so it's fine. The pack was small with a little mixed rice, one piece of fried chicken, and two red sausages. The mixed rice had a good flavor from the broth and was delicious. The fried chicken was well-seasoned and crispy, but the portion was a bit small.
