I had been wanting to visit this place for a while after hearing so much about it from the manager and players of the Nippon-Ham Fighters team saying "delicious." Finally, I got to visit. The diner-like atmosphere, with lots of photos of the Nippon-Ham Fighters players, is really nice. Yes. And then, the curry. When I opened the menu, the special menu item that caught my eye was the Long Sausage Curry, so I decided to go for it. I chose the hard level of spiciness and a regular amount of rice. The sausage had a great impact. I was also happy to see that lassi came with it. I'll skip describing how delicious the curry was because there's no other way to put it. It was a satisfying curry lunch. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in Asahikawa. Thank you for the meal.

~Samurais Beyond Admiration~ Still basking in the afterglow of the WBC, I wanted to touch upon something related to Shohei Ohtani. As I visited the store, it was filled with memorabilia from the Nippon-Ham Fighters, with Ohtani's signature displayed. After all the buzz about Ohtani, I decided not to order the Ohtani Curry and instead went for the Chicken Cheese Omelette Curry with medium spiciness. The gooey cheese and omelette were a great match, and the curry base, with onions and a hint of tomato, was delicious. Maybe I should have gone for the large serving!

Visit on 5/5/2023! Omu-Mayo Cheese Shrimp Curry for 1,040 yen and Blueberry Lassi for 400 yen. There was a line forming around 11 AM, before the 11:30 AM opening, showing how popular it is. The inside of the restaurant is filled with baseball goods. I chose the regular spiciness for the curry, but even the extra spicy option was manageable.

On the final day of the trip to Asahikawa, I visited this restaurant upon a recommendation from Yuran. I arrived 15 minutes before opening and was the first in line. The parking lot is located below the restaurant and on the side, with the side being more suitable for larger cars. When the restaurant opened, there were already more than 10 people in line. I was considering getting the Triple Cheese Omu Curry like Ohtani and adding shrimp mayo, but decided to go with the Half-Cooked Omu Cheese Curry with a topping of long Shauessen that is not commonly found. My companions ordered the Omu Mayo Ebi Curry with Shauessen topping (2 orders), and the Tofu and Natto Omu Curry with Shauessen topping. Everyone opted for the Shauessen topping. The rice used is freshly milled Nanatsuboshi, and the onions are sautéed with vegetables and fruits to thicken the curry. The anticipation grew as I read various things about the restaurant. However, the interior of the restaurant was like a ballpark, with photos of Nippon Ham players and items they used displayed everywhere. Ohtani, Kuriyama (the coach), BIG BOSS, Sugitani, Kiyomiya, and others, familiar faces even at Yuran. I remember seeing flowers from BIG BOSS displayed in this shop that was opened at Escon Field. Seems like it's a favorite spot. Despite being the first in line, the order took a while to arrive, around 20 minutes. The Ebi Mayo Curry had 3-4 shrimp on top of the Omu with plenty of mayonnaise, and it seemed to be the most popular dish. The Half-Cooked Omu Cheese Curry at Yuran has cheese between the rice and egg, stretching when scooped with a spoon. On top of the egg is a homemade tomato sauce. The curry, although I ordered it normal, was not too spicy with a strong sweetness from onions and fruits. The hard-boiled long Shauessen was a perfect choice, crispy and juicy. When buying at the supermarket, it's always Shauessen at Yuran. At the checkout, I noticed a uniform of Ohtani, which surprised me when I saw the height of the waist. I couldn't help but line up and take a photo (see photo). Yuran is 168.5 cm tall, quite tall for a woman. Ohtani-san, Ashinagasugiru YO!

If you are a Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters fan, you must visit (you probably already have) Crazy Spice. It seems to be a highly recommended restaurant by manager Shinjo for having the best curry in Japan. The menu also offers dishes inspired by players. The chicken and vegetable curry for 930 yen is popular for its normal level of spiciness. I visited just in time before they ran out of curry, so I opted for a quick option. The curry had a mild and smooth spiciness that gradually spread in the mouth, giving a gentle impression. It was easy to eat and satisfying. Maybe adding extra spiciness would be good. I wonder if it would be different with an omelette. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I saw this place on TV and thought it looked delicious, so I decided to visit. I ordered the same dish as BIGBOSS, which was a curry with half-cooked egg, cheese, and black wagyu beef. The half-cooked egg and cheese felt a bit cheap, so maybe getting the regular curry without them would be better. The black wagyu beef came in chunks of about 3 slices, and it was tender and tasty. The curry sauce was medium spicy with a complex flavor that I enjoyed. However, adding extra options can make the price go up. They had Fighters' player uniforms and Ohtani's uniform displayed, which was cool to see and take photos of. In that sense, it's worth a visit. Thank you for the meal!

Located right near Asahikawa Takasu Interchange, close to Asahikawa Nishi Aeon. It seems like a holy place for Nippon-Ham Fighters fans or baseball fans. This curry restaurant is beloved by Nippon-Ham's new manager Shinya Miyamoto! I've had about 5 opportunities to visit, but it was always closed until finally I could visit. I usually avoid places with such circumstances, but since it's on the way back to Sapporo, I've been curious every month and finally cleared it. I visited early this time so I could eat, but they usually sell out by 2 pm. It was perfect for a quick lunch! It's fruity and recommended for those with a sweet tooth! I was cautious about the spiciness due to the restaurant's name, but it's actually quite sweet, so spicy food lovers might want to increase the spiciness. There's also a sweetness from the egg. It's a place baseball fans should visit at least once. Next time, I'll have to go for a spicier option!

The recommended menu at the recommended restaurant by Manager Niigata is delicious. It's a shop filled with Nippon Ham items. Personally, I thought it was great that they used the back of flyers for the receipts. A must-visit shop for Nippon Ham fans. The only downside is that the parking lot is too small.

This curry restaurant is associated with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and is always popular, often selling out by evening, so I visited right when they opened. The store is on the second floor, filled with memorabilia of players like Shinjo and Ohtani, all in Nippon-Ham Fighters colors. I sat at the counter and ordered the popular No.1 dish, the "Omumayo Cheese Shrimp Curry (medium spicy) for 940 yen," while my companion ordered the "Half-Juku Om Cheese Black Wagyu Curry (sweet) for 1,230 yen." The "Omumayo Cheese Shrimp Curry" has a sauce made with lots of onions and various fruits, initially sweet but with a spicy kick later on. The combination of omelette rice, shrimp, cheese, and mayonnaise in this sauce is very delicious. The "Half-Juku Om Cheese Black Wagyu Curry" has a healthy and gentle sauce, with a combination of half-cooked omelette, cheese, and tender beef that is also quite tasty. This place seems to be a must-visit for Nippon-Ham Fighters fans.

The new manager of the Nippon-Ham Fighters, Big Boss Shinjo, loves this curry restaurant! Just two days after taking on the role as manager, Big Boss mentioned in the media that the curry here is so delicious that he had three bowls. Intrigued, I decided to visit the restaurant right away! When it opened at 11:30, there were already 4 or 5 groups of customers waiting in line. The restaurant is filled with Fighters memorabilia and photos, making it clear to even non-baseball fans the love for the team. Despite not being interested in baseball, I couldn't help but stare at a photo of Shohei Ohtani while ordering the "Soft-boiled Egg Cheese Curry with Black Wagyu Beef Topping and Lassi or Oolong Tea for 1230 yen." After about 10 minutes, the curry was brought to me, and I took the first bite. The sweetness of the fruits was delightful at first, but then the spiciness kicked in. Eating the omelette and cheese-wrapped rice with the curry, I found myself quickly enjoying the meal. I discovered a great restaurant to visit for lunch during a drive! I also ordered a "Blueberry Lassi" (340 yen when ordered with curry). While waiting for my order, I enjoyed looking at the Fighters' memorabilia in the restaurant. I could taste the deliciousness of the meat and the sweetness of the onions, giving a gentle impression. The spiciness was moderate. ✲Summary✲ It's supposedly low in fat, which reduces the guilt after eating curry, so that's appreciated.

In Asahikawa, I was unsure of where to have lunch on my first day, but when I climbed the Arashiyama Observatory in the morning, I found a restaurant nearby with lots of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters goods on display. The inside of the restaurant had an American feel, which was unexpected for a curry shop. The background music playing was also American songs from over 30 years ago. I ordered the Om Curry with a 17-centimeter Schauessel, which is not commonly sold. The curry was Keema Curry. The omelette was sweet, so personally, I think it could be a bit spicier. I would like to try a different curry next time.

Last time, I went to Dinner Time as soon as it opened, but they were unexpectedly sold out of curry, so I got rejected. Today, I came for lunch as soon as it opened for revenge (laughs). I chose extra spicy for an additional ¥60, but it wasn't as spicy as I expected, and it was delicious without ruining the flavor of the curry. My husband had the Powerful Curry for ¥940, and he chose the spicy option. It came with shumai and the rice was a large portion, very filling. Our 5-year-old had the Kids' Omu Curry, which was a cute-sized curry and very tasty. Crazy Spice has a unique atmosphere, but also a warm and friendly vibe, and the curry is so delicious that you sometimes crave it. Plus, if you're a Fighters fan, you'll love this place ♡

A friend wanted to eat Dam Curry, so we all visited the restaurant together! I chose the reliable Powerful curry. We were all having a great time, and the owner came out to explain the displayed merchandise to us! It was such a fun experience!

This is a review of Curry Catalog {004}. On the way home from work, I headed in the opposite direction of my house. Saturday nights are splendid, but I am getting older. I went to a famous curry restaurant known for their curry roux. They even have a collaboration product with the Nippon-Ham Fighters! However, what I had today was powerful. The spiciness was intense! I had dumplings, meatballs, eggs with corn and extra rice. The curry roux was tomato-based, tangy and spicy, but not too sour. It had a tangy spiciness, with a strong onion flavor. It was a luxurious curry roux that I cannot make at home. I ate it while sweating stoically. The menu is extensive! I definitely want to come back again.
