I decided to move the Olympics to Sapporo, and it's a bit complicated. I wonder if this is a good thing for Japan. Well, I guess winning a medal is out of the question, so that's okay. The announcer said, "Oh, everyone in Hokkaido must be happy." I'm not happy... I wanted to see the finish at the new national stadium. There are more bakeries in Tsuiki, right? So, I ran through the town and found a bakery. Well, I don't go down minor roads, so I didn't know about it. It's called Creche. You have to take off your shoes, but they provide slippers, which is better than socks. The selection of bread isn't extensive, with no hard types. They have "baked curry bread" and "potato bread" for 340 yen each, tax included. I can't tell if the price is high or low. The store is small with not many products, but there are quite a few staff members. A regular customer came in, wearing shoes. What the... Can you wear shoes in here? If so, please let me know. I was watching when I entered, right? Are they part of a group or something? I tried the bread that same day. The potato bread has whole potatoes in it. I don't like potatoes, but they are small so it's not a big deal. It seems to have butter and mayonnaise. And the bread dough is delicious. It's chewy and moist. The curry bread has potatoes too, but the curry is tasty. The bread dough is thin, but also delicious. This bakery is pretty good. I did some research and found out that it's run by the "Tsumugi" fostering association, which aims to nurture children with disabilities to lead healthy lives and participate in various activities in society, economy, and culture, while also finding fulfillment in living in the community.

In October 2015, there is a handmade bread shop in Tsugai Town run by an NPO organization. I had been curious about it ever since it ranked third in the unique taste of Tsugai, but I couldn't visit because it is only open on Thursdays and Fridays. Luckily, they had a booth at the Tsugai Industrial Festival this time, so I took the opportunity to purchase various items. The bread I bought includes Rye Dry Fruit Bread (half), Edamame Cheese, Chocolate Chip Bread, Sweet Bean Paste Bread, Cream Bread, and Andonuts. The prices are generally reasonable, with the Rye Dry Fruit bread being a bit more expensive. I had always thought Rye bread was hard, but the bread here is all soft and fluffy. The Edamame Cheese bread had plenty of edamame and was delicious. I finished it in no time. It seems they also sell bread at Sansankan on Saturdays, so I might consider going there in the future.
