I stayed at this hotel for one night during my trip to Muroran. It is located a little bit away from JR Higashi-Muroran Station, but it has a spacious parking lot and is close to the drinking district, making it a suitable base for sightseeing. The hotel also has a large hot spring bath, and being a relatively new hotel in Muroran, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Although the breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected, it was still delicious. The price was also reasonable, making it a good choice for business travelers.

Today I stayed in Muroran at Route Inn's Grand hotel. With a name like Grand, you can expect a great breakfast! The breakfast was buffet style like Route Inn, but with a special touch - ikura (salmon roe)! You can't visit Hokkaido without trying ikura. Putting plenty of it on rice makes for a luxurious bowl in the morning! Being able to serve yourself is a nice touch. The plump sausages and crispy fried chicken were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a hotel for breakfast for the first time, and it was a buffet style with a wide variety of dishes. Even for picky eaters, there were plenty of options to choose from. I picked out the dishes that caught my eye and added soy sauce-marinated salmon roe to my rice. Just that made for a slightly luxurious breakfast. Thank you for the meal!

I stayed at a hotel that opened last year in Nakajima-cho. The hotels around Muroran Station are old, and it seems quite difficult with few business and tourist guests, but here in the Higashi-Muroran area, with new hotel openings like this, it strongly gives the impression that the city's core functions are shifting. This is the second Route Inn hotel in Muroran, indicating a high demand for hotels in this class. Regarding business hotels in the Muroran area, they are said to be in the highest price range. Check-in is at the front desk on the 1st floor. Payment is made in advance and a contactless IC card key is handed over. There is also a free coffee server in the lobby. The room assigned to me was spacious, with a nice design for the new furniture. In addition to the room bath, there is also a hot spring public bath on the 1st floor, which was also a good bath. The room was quiet without car noise, as it was far from the main road, allowing for a peaceful sleep. Breakfast is served from 6:30 in the breakfast venue on the 1st floor. The young male and female staff welcomed me with a pleasant greeting. There are counter seats by the window, so even on busy days, you can enjoy your meal without feeling uncomfortable dining alone. The variety of food was average. The main dishes, such as "spicy hot pot," "shrimp chili," and "chicken garlic butter stir-fry," were all warm and delicious. The grilled fish felt like it was thawed from frozen and steamed, so it was not as good. There were also fruits and cakes that would be appreciated by women and children. The milk was rich and had a satisfying taste. There was also a corner where egg dishes like fried eggs and omelets were cooked on the spot, but I was too full to try it. The tray was self-served to the designated location. There was a free trial newspaper (Yomiuri Shimbun) in the lobby, so I took it and returned to my room.

Breakfast battle? Not only in Hakodate, but also in Higashi-Muroran? The accommodation was affordable and the breakfast was luxurious.

On the first day, there were croissants, French toast, water dumplings, zangi (Japanese fried chicken), stuffed eggplant, hamburg steak, cabbage and cucumber salad, chicken and avocado with aurora sauce, herring, and scrambled eggs. On the second day, there was rice (ochazuke), miso soup, salad, pork and spinach with mayonnaise, prosciutto, minced cutlet, deep-fried nagaimo (Chinese yam), har gow (shrimp dumplings), tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette), grilled salmon with salt, and a bonus of sausages. The view from the room overlooks the Shiratori Ohashi Bridge.
