I ordered the Japanese-style child sauce hamburger set for 740 yen, which came with rice, miso soup, and salad. I was the only one eating at the counter, although there was one other person sitting there, perhaps a previous customer or a friend. It felt like a cozy, homey atmosphere with the owner, who seemed like a mother figure, running the place by herself. The salad portion was generous. The hamburger was cooked in a skillet and then simmered in a flavorful sauce. It was tender and juicy, and the sauce had a nostalgic taste to it. Watching the food being prepared in front of me was reassuring. The egg omelet was delicious, tasting just like the sweet one my grandma used to make. I loved it! I would definitely want to come back if I have the chance. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I stopped by a place near Asao Station and had some onigiri to fill my stomach for the time being. I wanted to try somewhere a bit unusual, so I came here. It seems no one has visited here for about 7 years. I thought they weren't open anymore due to the long time that had passed. But around the same time, it seems that someone else had visited, according to the reviews. It's important to write reviews promptly, isn't it? When I entered, there were no other customers. It's a neat Showa-era coffee shop. I ordered the daily set meal which was a Japanese-style hamburger with mushroom sauce for 740 yen (includes rice, miso soup, and salad). The smell and sound of the hamburger being cooked in a frying pan were delightful. It arrived in about 15 minutes. It all had a homemade feel to it! First, the miso soup. It tasted like delicious homemade miso soup with silky tofu, green onions, and a perfect balance of dashi and miso. The rice was freshly cooked and fluffy! It's a slightly sticky variety of rice, but it was delicious. I might have been satisfied with just the rice and miso soup! The hamburger was firm and the mushroom sauce was quite good. The salad was crisp, and overall, I thought the food was delicious! I just wish they offered drinks as well. Thank you for the meal!

On a certain weekday, I visited a cafe near the underground Asao station as I passed by. When I arrived, the place was clean and refreshing, which I personally appreciated. On this day, I heard that they were planning to make significant changes to their menu starting from spring. Since there were only rice dishes available, and no sweets, I decided to go with an "Iced Coffee (450 yen) instead. However, I was surprised to find out that they had started charging tax separately from today. The way they broke the ice with an ice pick and put it in the glass was quite nice. As I took a sip, I could feel the slightly bitter taste of the coffee, which seemed to be a blend of gum syrup and fresh ingredients, although I was unsure if it was a ready-made product or an original blend. Finally, I finished with a glass of cold water with ice from the ice pick. I couldn't help but notice the changes in the times, like not being able to smoke inside the store anymore, and the extra precautions taken by the staff for hygiene in the current situation. It seems like they are facing various challenges. Thank you for the meal.

[Revisit] April 2015 in Nobio, Kita-ku, Sapporo. This time I ordered the hamburger set. It's 680 yen, so it feels like a good deal. However, the hamburger was relatively ordinary. Thank you for the meal. [Revisit] March 2015 in Nobio, Kita-ku, Sapporo. Located along Asahara Gokasen, Ojuzukuko-dori. It feels like an old-fashioned coffee shop, making it easy to enter, so I revisited. There are still many regular customers here. This time I ordered the omurice. It seems like they ran out of demi-glace sauce, so it was the old-fashioned ketchup omurice. But that actually made it fresh and nice. I think the omurice itself was delicious. It has a sense of stability. Thank you for the meal. [First post] December 2014 in Nobio, Kita-ku, Sapporo. When it comes to Asahara, it's along Gokasen, Ojuzukuko-dori. Well, it feels like an old-fashioned coffee shop. When it comes to coffee shops like that in Asahara, it's either here or Tachi. Compared to Tachi, the interior is bright, and it seems to be run by a female owner. I entered a little after 3 pm, and there was one customer inside. The female owner was chatting with a female customer of the same age, so it felt a bit awkward... I ordered the daily special B, which was pork with melty cheese baked on top. A dish where pork wrapped in egg is baked with cheese on top. The salad was delicious, and the rice was easy to eat. However, it came with a piece of rolled omelette, which was a bit disappointing as it visually overlapped with the main dish, but it was tasty. There are other menu items like omurice and hamburger, so it's close by, and I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This shop... seems to have been around for quite a while, but I had never noticed it at all. During a conversation with a friend who lives in Aso, we were discussing where you can have a decent lunch in Aso, and my friend asked, "What about Nobio?" This prompted me to learn about its existence. When I actually checked it out, I did have a vague recollection of it, but it seemed to blend into the town and didn't really stand out as a shop. Well, that's actually a charming aspect of it. I visited close to closing time at the end of the year, and they only had "yakiniku and hamburger" left. So, I ordered those two dishes and waited while reading some comics they had. The hamburger... the sauce was a bit lacking, like it needed more sweetness? It had a slightly rough texture, so it was a bit disappointing. However! The yakiniku was incredibly tender and well-balanced in flavor, it was delicious! This is really good! Looking at the menu, there are plenty of other enticing options! I definitely need to come back again!

Visited around 1 pm on October 30, 2014. It's been a while since I've been to Azabu. I used to walk around this area a lot about 20 years ago. I decided to visit this place today because I had been wanting to come after seeing the reviews. It's my day off, so I wanted to relax and read a book at a café, which is why I chose this place. The name "Nobio" sounds like a Spanish word meaning boyfriend or groom? I sat at a table in the back, with only one other group of customers. Two ladies were laughing loudly. It seemed like they were settling the bill with the owner as they were leaving. After they left, it became very quiet. I like the unobtrusive style of service here. They provide water with rock ice! They put big, attractive ice cubes in the glass. Just that alone captured my heart. I was recommended the daily special, but I had already decided on either the jumbo hamburger or the pork cutlet curry, so I chose the latter. I ordered the pork cutlet curry in large size and then coffee after eating. I waited for a while. I read my book. I could hear the sound of meat being pounded. Then the sound of deep-frying, and the smell of curry started to waft in. I was so hungry (*´ω`*) I couldn't concentrate on my book. The curry arrived♪ It had plenty of small-cut onions and carrots. It was a thick, homely curry. The pork cutlet was freshly fried and hot, with a sufficient thickness and a good amount of fat, which I like. The salad dressing was homemade, as indicated by the sign saying it could be purchased separately. It must be popular. It was delicious♥ I ate heartily. It was delicious. As I ate, I found that I needed more curry sauce, so I left some pork cutlet and tried eating it with rice and sauce. I finished the meal. I wasn't overly full, but just right. The edge of the plate had "Buono!" written on it. It was delicious. I was looking forward to the post-meal coffee, which was a flask coffee with a mango heart on top, but unfortunately, it was a bit too sour this time. I thought next time I would like to try freshly brewed coffee. I read my book leisurely for a while and then left. There was one more customer who ordered the daily special. The pleasant sound and delicious smell made me want to come back again. As I drank water with the ice cubes, I felt happy once again (о´∀`о) The total cost was a little over 1000 yen. Next time, I'll try the jumbo hamburger♥

I was aware of its existence before, but this was my first visit. Upon entering with a little hesitation, I found the interior to be surprisingly clean despite its age. A quiet and clean lady welcomed me from behind the counter. I noticed signs prohibiting the use of mobile phones everywhere. The background music was the afternoon wide show on TV. From the menu on that day, I was drawn to many items, but wanting to indulge in nostalgia, I decided to try the "Old-fashioned Omurice (880 yen)." Ah! As soon as another customer started smoking, they quickly turned on the room ventilation, which was very helpful and not too smoky. After hearing the sound of a frying pan being shaken from behind the counter, the dish was served. I took a bite... Oh! The aroma of butter was stronger than the egg, and the ketchup was surprisingly rich and tangy, complementing the slightly light and sweet buttery omelet. The combination of the pork-like char siu, onion, and ketchup rice was excellent, making it one of the best omurice dishes I've had recently. I couldn't remember if I had eaten omurice recently... Anyway, there's no doubt that this omurice is delicious! It was a delightful experience at this restaurant with a fantastic omurice. Thank you for the meal.

Welcome! ┌¬o* * * 2014.02 ↓In the Asao area of Kita-ku, the snow seems to be heavier than in the city center! Despite being overwhelmed by the scenery, I head towards this café located next to Cucina with a recommended daily set menu displayed on the façade. The atmosphere inside feels like visiting a cheerful person's living room, where a slightly elegant host was enjoying tea with regular customers. There is a flask on the counter, indicating their seriousness about coffee. A TV is placed nearby, and a sign on the table says "No cell phones allowed." Although there was no warning against taking photos, I failed to read the atmosphere. It was lunchtime, so I asked for the daily special which was written on the wall. The chef skillfully prepared Cream Korosuke and Chicken Cutlet from the daily set A. The tonkatsu spice sauce from S&B was available for added flavor. The meal included two cutlets, cream croquette, tamagoyaki, salad, wakame miso soup, and was quite filling. The crispy chicken cutlet had a slightly firm texture, perfect with the sauce. The cream croquette was generously filled and heavy, indicating it was homemade. The salad dressing, also homemade and sold in the café, had a refreshing acidity. The rice was cooked firm, served in a dish plate with a bowl, which was appreciated. The miso soup had a strong miso flavor and complemented the meal well. The customers seemed to be regulars, creating a friendly atmosphere in this café that felt like the hostess's living room. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a nostalgic cafe before 6 pm on a regular evening. There were no customers, which I found perfect for studying. The place was bright and clean, giving off an old-school coffee shop vibe. I decided to order the hamburger set, which was juicy and delicious. The owner, a mom, was running the place on her own and cooked the hamburger fresh for me. It was a homemade, comforting meal that I enjoyed with rice and miso soup. As I was leaving, a regular customer arrived, and I took that as my cue to leave as well.

Business hours are from 11:00 to 20:00. Address: 2-3-10 Asahimachi, Kita-ku, Sapporo. Phone number: 011-709-4545. The seating consists of about 6 counter seats and 4 four-person table seats. The restaurant is located along the Asahi 5-sa Intersection, on the hill near the Okadama Airport street, next to Cucina. When you enter the shop, you will see the counter and the kitchen in the back. There are manga books on the bookshelf. The cuisine is mainly Western-style centered around hamburgers. It seemed like a woman was running the place alone, so I thought it would take a while for the food to arrive, but I was satisfied when it came out in about 10 minutes. The taste of the food is average, but the presence of manga and the homely atmosphere make it a cozy place. The set meal comes with miso soup and salad, but drinks are separate, with a post-meal drink costing an additional 200 yen.

It is located near Asao Station, a large intersection. The interior has about four counter and table seats. There are many manga available. The menu is typical of a regular cafe. I ordered a toast set. The iced coffee was an additional 50 yen. There was only one older lady working there. She seemed annoyed, watching a drama, and brought water without much enthusiasm. No cell phone use was allowed inside, so I couldn't take any photos. When the toast arrived, I was shocked. It was just a thin slice of toast. What? Only one piece of store-bought bread. No jam, salad, or boiled egg included. And it cost 600 yen... I couldn't capture how disappointing it was in a photo. I hardly touched the toast and left. The iced coffee was just average. The water was the only thing enjoyable (laughs).

The daily set meal is 680 yen. It feels like being invited to a proper girl's house from when I was in elementary school, with a mix of nervousness and comfort. You have to have good manners. But the kind mother-like person who makes it serves a hot hamburger (mixed ground meat) with just the right amount of heat and a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg! The sauce is meaty! The salad dressing is light and delicious, and the rice is just right. The 200 yen coffee after the meal is also served in nostalgic tableware and tastes great. If there was one nearby, I would definitely visit often. Even hungry high school students would be satisfied. There are manga too.
