I went on a business trip to Muroran. I checked into a hotel in East Muroran and thought about where to have dinner. I searched on my phone and found out that there is a Rocket Curry just a few minutes' walk away! It used to be called Goonies, a delicious restaurant that opened around 2007 or 2008. I had always wanted to visit their Sapporo branch but never had the chance. So, without hesitation, I decided to visit the Muroran branch. When I arrived, I realized that the restaurant was actually inside a big pachinko parlor. I ordered the standard set with original soup, chicken, and mild spiciness. The soup was delicious, with a nice balance of flavors. The vegetables were fresh and sweet, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The rice was also top-quality and complemented the curry perfectly. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I left feeling very satisfied. I will definitely visit their Sapporo branch soon. It was truly delicious. Thank you for the meal!

This is a corner of the Pachinko Himawari shop. It's quite unusual, isn't it? Right now, it's not a place where you can quickly eat udon noodles. There are 7 counter seats and 8 table seats, with a casual atmosphere. The lunch curry rice is very reasonable at 600 yen!!! The curry rice comes with a drink, but it seems that the soup curry is not included in this offer. It would be nice if there was a lunch special for the soup curry too. I decided to go with the soup curry since they had oysters. There are 5 types of soup available, and I chose the original one. I went for the maximum spice level of 5. The rice portion was a normal 200g. There were 4 small oysters included in the curry. The curry also contained over 10 types of vegetables such as broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, okra, baby corn, lotus root, potatoes, cabbage, Mizuna greens, and quail eggs. The portion size was quite decent, and I think it's a good option in Muroran. They offer various toppings, and you can increase the spice level for an extra 10 yen. By adding them as a LINE friend, you can get the Ebisu soup for free, which is usually an additional 50 yen. They also offer takeout and delivery services. I didn't know they had a coupon on Tabelog for a 100 yen discount. Oh no!!! Thank you for the meal!

I'm on a business trip to Muroran and had dinner there again, so I'll just upload the photos. "Hamburg Soup Curry (1,250 yen)": Original soup, spice level 4, regular rice. The hamburger was more like a meatball and not really to my liking. The curry soup, however, was delicious as always.

Muroran, Nakajimacho. Today's restaurant is Rocket Curry Higashi-Muroran store. Normally I go in order, but they have an event in October so I'll post this review first! Rocket Curry, a familiar delivery service in Sapporo, has opened in Muroran (^o^) It's located inside Himawari S. Not the Himawari near Higashi-Muroran Station, so be careful! There are 7 counter seats, 2 seats for 2 people, and 1 seat for 4 people. Around 18:30 there were no customers before or after us, but you could hear the delivery orders coming in! Unfortunately, my Chuocho is outside their delivery range (*_*) Now, for the October event, on weekdays they are offering free curry roux for the first 200 customers, and if you follow them on Instagram. It used to be limited to weekday lunchtime, but many people couldn't go, so they changed it to all day starting today. So I went (^o^) - Curry Roux (free): You can choose from 3 levels of spiciness, and I chose the spicy one. The curry roux has a gentle richness with the sweetness of slowly simmered vegetables, especially the sweetness of onions. It has a mild sweetness with the added touch of chutney. The side dish is mizuna. Since they are originally a soup curry restaurant, maybe that's why they don't have fukujinzuke for the curry roux. - Topping: Tonkatsu @350: It was fried crispy and crunchy, fried after ordering. I thought it was a bit too fried when I saw the cross-section, but when I tasted it, the tonkatsu was juicy and tender inside (^o^) I wonder why they are located inside a pachinko parlor? Maybe the rent is cheap. It seems like they haven't reached the 200 servings yet, maybe the pachinko players are not interested in Instagram? I was actually planning to come back here to try their soup curry, but for now, I'll come back for the soup curry! Thank you for the meal (・∀・)

Located inside the pachinko parlor "Himawari" along National Route 37 in the Toyako area, this soup curry restaurant offers a cozy cafe-like atmosphere with only counter seats. I have visited their branches in Sapporo multiple times, but this was my first visit here. I ordered the "Chicken Soup Curry (1,200 yen)" with the original base, spice level 4 (medium-hot), and regular rice portion (200g). The soup curry comes with a choice of five types of soup (original, tomato, coconut, garlic, rich shrimp), with additional charges for spice levels above 6 and upsizing the rice portion. The dish was ready in about 10 minutes and served in a unique pot-like container. The amount of soup felt a bit small, but it had a light and well-balanced flavor with a good mix of umami and spices. The chicken leg was tender and the other ingredients were well-cooked, making it a high-quality soup curry overall. Although the price may seem slightly high compared to the portion size, the delicious taste makes it worth it, especially for those who prefer lighter flavors.

I went to Rocket Curry in Sapporo during my business trip to Muroran. I don't play pachinko, so I was unsure how to enter, but there was another entrance. The Hokkaido-style soup curry is delicious! This time, I tried the free rich shrimp soup, and I also liked it.
