On August 13, 2022, I planned to visit a delicious katsu curry ramen restaurant and then head to a shop in Chitose, so I entered the destination on Google Maps. However, I found that the shop was closed. Recently, Google's information seems to be more up-to-date than information on Tabelog, so I decided to skip this shop this time. Instead, I decided to treat myself to Hanachan's reward time. This was the planned location. It was located a little outside of the town of Hayato. It seemed to be a shop run by a flower farmer. There was a small hut selling soft serve ice cream in one corner, and there was no one there. I called out to an employee in the flower house, and they quickly responded. They offered normal and small sizes of soft serve ice cream, so I chose the small size. It melted quickly because it was hot, so I hurried back to the car to eat it. It was a bit lacking in flavor for me. I took a bite. Huh!? It's a bit unsatisfying... Maybe because I've been eating rich foods a lot recently, but it felt more refreshing than satisfying. So I quickly shifted the focus to Hanachan (laughs). But you know... Even though she usually eats with single-minded devotion, today Hanachan didn't seem to eat much (-_-;) She must be savoring the flavors. Well done, Hanachan! In the end, she finished even the corn neatly, but that was the feeling. Now that we've taken a break with ice cream, let's go to one more place since we're here! Thank you for the meal♪

I visited a shop that offers soft serve ice cream that I discovered on the TV show "Today's Dokki" on HBC TV for the first time. The soft serve ice cream made with fresh milk costs 350 yen. It is located along the road that leads out of Chitose towards Sapporo, and although I pass by it often, I never noticed it before. The shop primarily seems to be a florist, and they also sell vegetables. They have been in business for quite some time. There is a small hut in one corner of the spacious property with a sign that says "Please call out to the staff nearby." I had to look around for someone to place my order. The shop's website mentions that they also sell soft serve ice cream and coffee, but when I asked about coffee, I was told that information was from last year's website. According to Google Maps reviews, there were comments about the lack of staff, with one person handling the sales of soft serve ice cream, vegetables, and flowers all by themselves, but on the day I visited, there were three staff members present. I opted for the classic fresh milk soft serve ice cream, which was a bit watery but had a nice creamy texture and was not too sweet. I wonder if they get customers even without much advertising. The customer service was lacking in friendliness. Thank you for the meal.
