Yakiniku Tokyo BeeN Machida is a popular barbecue restaurant loved by a wide range of customers for its high-quality meat and extensive menu. At first glance, you might wonder if this is really a yakiniku place, as it has a trendy appearance. Once you step inside, you are greeted by a bright space featuring roasters and chimneys. However, the scenery inside is quite unique, reminiscent of the glittering chimneys and factories of the Keihin area at night. The second floor continues this unique vibe, while the third floor has a Korean street-food theme, adorned with vibrant Korean-style neon lights.
At Tokyo BeeN Machida, you can enjoy a variety of carefully selected premium meats. One of the most popular menu items is the specially selected Wagyu BBQ. The Wagyu served is prepared from the day's best cuts, and upon tasting, it delivers a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich aroma. Today, I ordered the restaurant's signature platter, the Tokyo BeeN Legend Set, which featured an impressive assortment: thick sliced fresh tongue (100g), aged thick cut harami (120g), aged thick cut roast (120g), aged ribeye (120g), and Omega oil grilled meat (60g), all beautifully piled high. The sight is truly breathtaking.
This luxurious assortment is expertly grilled by the staff to perfection. I couldn't help but order white rice to accompany it. Among the cuts, the ribeye offers a texture that's almost beyond the realm of barbecue. I ended up ordering the aged melting roast as well. It’s grilled just enough to achieve a light char on the surface, and upon tasting, it also melts in your mouth.
I also enjoyed the Korean street food delights, truly defining what a Korean one-hand food experience is! To conclude my meal, I had Tokyo BeeN's specialty, the sudachi cold noodles! The slightly tangy broth, infused with the aroma of sudachi and the chewy noodles, paired well with kimchi and created an irresistible dish.
Another standout feature of the restaurant is the self-serve highball station, where you can pour drinks directly from the tap on each table, allowing for endless Kaku Highball. It's hard to resist drinking here.
Tokyo BeeN Machida is perfect for various occasions, whether you're dining alone, with friends, family, or hosting a banquet. Their affordable yakiniku banquet courses include an all-you-can-drink option, allowing you to enjoy as much alcohol as you like. Additionally, for those who wish to savor their yakiniku without worrying about others, floor rentals for small groups are available.
This place is suitable for company drinking parties, welcome and farewell parties, girls’ nights out, or parent gatherings. They also house the Jongno street food village, where you can enjoy items like "Hotteok," "Sotteok Sotteok," "10 Yen Bread," and "Tteokbokki," either in the restaurant or for takeout. I highly recommend stopping by at least once—or even making a special trip to visit!
