I went for a weekday lunch and arrived a bit late, around 1:30 PM. The place seemed busy, and I was guided to a table while they were still cleaning up; about half of the seats were occupied. I ordered the lunch menu which included a grilled beef lunch with 120g of kalbi and harami. I was a bit skeptical about the reasonable price, but the meat was incredibly delicious! The fat from the black-haired wagyu was sweet without being overwhelming, and it tasted amazing. The portion size was also very satisfying! The soup and rice were options you could add. The soup was labeled as beef bone soup and had a refined taste similar to oxtail soup. Despite being an affordable lunch menu, I was fully satisfied. For dessert, I ordered almond tofu, which was also rich and delicious! I would definitely want to come back even if I'm by myself.

I ordered the harami kalbi lunch set! I upgraded the soup to yukkyejang for an extra 350 yen. The meat was tender, and the special sauce was delicious. It made me want to try other menu items as well. During lunchtime, you can get free large servings or refills of rice. The yukkyejang soup had just the right seasoning and plenty of ingredients, with tender meat inside. Since I visited around 2 PM, the restaurant wasn't crowded, allowing me to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. I thought it would have been even better if I could have sat by the window. There seemed to be many solo diners, so I think enjoying yakiniku alone would not be a problem.

On Saturday, just after 12:30 PM, a Yakiniku restaurant opened in the 9th-floor restaurant area of Odakyu Machida on October 24, 2024. The restaurant has a nice balance of upscale ambiance and accessibility. Orders are made with a touchscreen, and it's great that they offer a lunch menu on weekends (available until 3 PM). It seems like they put a lot of emphasis on their barbecue sauce, and the sauce that was served looked quite different. I ordered the Domestic Beef Kalbi & Beef Harami Yakiniku Lunch (120g) for 1,628 yen, but with a LINE coupon, I got it for 1,128 yen (500 yen off). My meal was served in no time! The salad didn’t taste particularly fresh, but the meat, rice, and soup were delicious. The meat had a nice balance of red and fatty parts, and the special sauce, although slightly different from the picture, turned out to be good. From October 23 (Wednesday) to November 5 (Tuesday), there’s a 500 yen discount for orders over 1,500 yen with a LINE coupon. (☆-.-- 3 people)

I went to a newly opened yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant on the 8th floor of Odakyu Department Store after making a reservation over the phone. Since it's just opened, the interior is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. There seem to be quite a few seats available. We ordered a variety of dishes, and the meat quality was great and delicious. The cholegi salad was really large and satisfying, and the appetizer platter was tasty, making it a satisfying meal overall! They also have a limited-time offer for a five-meat platter at a 1,000 yen discount, which is really nice! (This seems to be a limited-time promotion.) The staff are still getting used to customer service since it's a new opening (which is understandable; I personally find it endearing!). I was looking for a good barbecue place in Machida that I could visit regularly, so I have high hopes for this one. Thank you for the meal!

I ordered the wagyu kalbi for lunch, but it was full of fatty, tough meat, so I ended up leaving it all behind and just finishing the rice and kimchi.

The meat was good, but the sauce was just regular and it was a bit disappointing. It would have been better to have the typical yakiniku sauce (sweet and savory flavor).
