味噌ラーメン(札幌)

Miso ramen set, great value for money. Comes with mini fried rice and salad. The gentle soup has a flavorful miso taste. The yellow curly noodles, stir-fried bean sprouts and onions, and crunchy bamboo shoots are simple but delicious. The thick and juicy chashu is tasty. The mini fried rice is lightly seasoned and deliciously fluffy. I also like the friendly atmosphere.

Today's lunch was a revenge for yesterday's somewhat disappointing "ankake yakisoba," so I decided to try a different and interesting dish at a restaurant. However, when I arrived at the restaurant around 11:25, I noticed that there were already cars parked in the limited parking spaces. It turned out that the restaurant actually opens at 11:00, not 11:30 as listed on the food review website. I quickly ordered the "Chuka Donmen" in large size for ¥860, plus ¥130 for the large portion. The dish arrived in less than 10 minutes, served in a large and deep plate. I started with the ankake yakisoba, which had a good amount of noodles and a slightly burnt flavor. The taste of the sauce was delicious. Then I moved on to the Chuka Don part, which had a generous amount of rice topped with tasty sauce. It was a unique experience to have both dishes in one meal. Despite feeling quite full after finishing everything including the soup, I later regretted choosing the large portion as I started to feel uncomfortably full on the way back home. However, considering the price of ¥990 for such a satisfying meal, the restaurant offers great value for a delicious and filling menu.

I had a ramen set with mini fried rice and salad, haha. The flavor was soy sauce. The soup was quite simple with a sweet soy sauce taste. The fried rice was also simple with just egg, green onion, chashu, and rice stir-fried with salt and pepper, without any extra seasonings. It was nice to have salad included, haha. Thank you for the meal, haha.

Finally finishing my deliveries and feeling hungry just before 8 pm. I was thinking about where to have dinner. Coincidentally, I finished my last delivery of the day right next to this restaurant. I had always been curious about it but never went in. Today, I decided to give it a try. Before entering the restaurant, I imagined it to be a traditional, old-fashioned Chinese restaurant, but my image was quickly overturned once I stepped inside. A woman who seemed to be the owner warmly and politely welcomed me. There was one other customer at the counter seats in the back. I sat at a relaxed counter seat and thought about what to order. I was initially thinking of ordering the soy sauce ramen, a classic dish from a local Chinese restaurant. Since I was hungrier than usual, I decided to order the soy sauce ramen with a mini fried rice set, and I even went for the large size ramen. While waiting for my food, I suddenly realized something. The restaurant closes at 8 pm, and it was already 7:50 pm! Did I just walk in 10 minutes before closing time? When I mentioned this to the woman, she kindly replied, "Don't worry at all! Take your time and enjoy your meal." I felt a mix of happiness and guilt. After about 5 minutes, my food arrived. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the ramen bowl was quite large. The woman also said, "I'll start cleaning up soon, but please take your time and enjoy your meal." As the autumn deepens and the weather gets colder, her kindness felt even more heartwarming. The soy sauce ramen was exactly what I expected from a local Chinese restaurant - a simple soy sauce broth made from a clean and flavorful dashi. The noodles were on the softer side, similar to miso ramen noodles, which actually suited the style of a Sapporo local Chinese restaurant. The fried rice was a classic Chinese-style fried rice with green onions, egg, and char siu, seasoned simply with salt and pepper. It was delicious. This meal was exactly how a local Chinese restaurant ramen and fried rice should be. I was extremely satisfied. My tiredness from the day quickly faded away. I felt healed. After paying, as I was leaving, I expressed my gratitude for their service despite it being close to closing time. The owner said, "No need to worry at all! Thank you!" And a man who seemed to be the master also thanked me warmly. It was a very pleasant dining experience. Such restaurants are truly a treasure in Sapporo. I hope they continue to thrive and remain unchanged. I will definitely come back!

The place is located across the street from the Co-op Shin-Kotoni Minami store, next to a tonkatsu and steak restaurant. The parking lot in front of the store can fit about 2 cars, and there is also space for about 2 more cars next to the store with a "P" sign. The store has a lot of counter seats, 2 table seats, and 2 raised tatami floor seats. It was a cloudy weekday around 6:30 PM when I visited. There was a group of two women already there, and another solo customer arrived later. Even though I was alone, the staff kindly offered me a table or tatami seat, but I chose the counter. They quickly brought me water and a pitcher. I had a craving for mapo tofu rice bowl for some reason, but it turned out they only had mapo tofu set meal. I ordered the mapo tofu set meal and it was ready in no time, maybe less than 5 minutes. The spot I chose at the counter was a bit awkward as there was something in front of me, but the staff swiftly moved it aside and placed my meal in front of me. The mapo tofu was served in a large plate with a generous amount. It was not spicy but had a nice texture with a good amount of tofu and sauce. The rice bowl was quite big, and the rice was a bit soft that day, which was the only downside for me. The soup looked thick but was actually light and had egg and green onions. It was delicious. The salad had a colorful mix of cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, carrot, and purple cabbage with a tasty dressing. Pickles were also served as a side. The mapo tofu set meal was very filling, so it might be enough to eat half the rice for those with a small appetite. The service from the staff was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The prices were reasonable for the portion size. I would definitely visit again and try their other dishes like sweet and sour pork and liver with leeks. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I had a craving for Chinese chirashi after a long time, and I finally had it. It was delicious as always. The restaurant had an old-fashioned town Chinese style, giving a nostalgic feeling.

When you want to eat both Chinese rice bowl and yakisoba with thick sauce, try the Chinese Don Men restaurant. It's a great way to kill two birds with one stone.

Located in the middle of Shin Koto Avenue, between Shin Koto Avenue 1 and 2, is a restaurant with a sign advertising "Ankake Yakisoba." I haven't had it in a while, so I decided to stop by. There were towels available for use near the bookshelf, which was a nice touch. I ordered the mapo tofu set meal and was surprised by the large portion size when it arrived. The mapo tofu dish was bigger than the rice! Be sure to eat it carefully so you don't run out of rice too soon. It wasn't too spicy and had a delicious flavor. The CEO of our household ordered the ankake yakisoba, which was also large and nicely presented, with a boiled egg on top. The flavor was a bit milder compared to the mapo tofu. We managed to finish both dishes with a little help from each other.

I went to another restaurant, but it was full. As I was driving around, I found a new restaurant. The menu offers a set of three flavors for 620 yen. There are also other options like mini fried rice with a side dish or ankake yakisoba. The unique dishes seem to be Chinese don noodles and Chinese chirashi. I ordered the ankake yakisoba for 730 yen. It came with a soup, which was a nice touch. The dish included boiled eggs, shrimp, cabbage, onions, carrots, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, green beans, and pork belly. The sauce was dark and thick-looking, but surprisingly, it had a light and slightly sweet taste. The noodles were well-cooked with a nice char, but they were a bit too soft for my liking. The portion size was generous. The soup was a thick and flavorful egg soup. Overall, the flavors were delicious, but the noodles and soup were slightly lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing.

The other day, I received information from the owner of that shop and decided to visit 【Saisai】. It seems they serve simple yet delicious ramen at a reasonable price. I was excited to try it out. It was lunchtime on a weekday, so I thought it would not be too crowded. However, when I arrived, the parking lot was full... But as a member of the association, I have the right to park there. The full parking lot also meant that the restaurant inside was packed. I was hesitating at the entrance when someone asked me if I was okay with waiting a bit longer. I was determined to try their ramen today, so I placed an order for the soy sauce ramen set (700 yen) and miso ramen (750 yen). The staff inside were all men, and they were all wearing work clothes, indicating that the food might be hearty. The restaurant allowed smoking, so there was a haze of purple smoke in the air. After waiting for about 40 minutes, I was served a salad and the soy sauce ramen. The soup had a chicken broth base with a good amount of vegetable flavor. The soup was a bit lukewarm, but the clear soy sauce flavor combined with a generous amount of black pepper made it delicious. The miso ramen my companion had was also nostalgic and gentle in flavor. The noodles were thin and yellow, likely from Nishiyama, and had a strong wheat aroma. The toppings included pork shoulder chashu, bamboo shoots, onions, bean sprouts, green onions, and seaweed. The chashu had a good balance of tenderness and chewiness, and the bamboo shoots were soft and well-seasoned. The salad consisted of cabbage, cucumber, and tomatoes with a refreshing salt dressing. The mini fried rice that arrived a few minutes later was moist and simple in flavor. It had chashu, green onions, and egg, and despite its small size, I couldn't stop eating it. The husband and wife who ran the restaurant seemed to be very attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I regret not visiting this place sooner, as they have a variety of ramen dishes on their menu. Thank you for the meal! By the way, the car parked in front of the shop always has the license plate "Saisai" on it, haha.

While driving, I was drawn to the sign for tonkatsu and decided to park my car. However, upon seeing the sign that said "Chinese" at the entrance, I realized for the first time that I had parked next to a different restaurant. Nonetheless, I love Chinese food so I decided to go in. The interior of the restaurant had a long counter, tables for five people, and even a raised seating area. I chose the "Chinese Don Men" for 720 yen, which was the restaurant's original dish - a combination of Chinese-style rice and stir-fried noodles. The dish included noodles similar to those used in Nishiyama ramen, with a sauce containing ingredients like Chinese cabbage, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, snow peas, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, boiled shrimp, and boiled eggs. The sauce was soy sauce-based with a hint of sesame oil, slightly sweet, and light, making it easy to eat. I enjoyed alternating between the rice and noodles, with the noodles having a deliciously fragrant and oily taste that complemented the sauce. The shrimp had a slightly different smell, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the dish was satisfying and had a good amount of food. The egg soup had a slightly thick consistency with a hint of pepper. It was a fortunate coincidence that I was able to try two different dishes and left feeling like I got a good deal. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at a Chinese restaurant in a residential area on the outskirts of Sapporo. I had been curious about it for a while, but never had the chance to visit as it was not close to my father's house. The place seemed popular, judging by the number of customers coming in and out. The restaurant is known for its generous portions of ramen sets and fried noodles, according to online reviews. When we arrived, the restaurant was already busy with a few customers at the counter and families at the tables. We were seated in a cozy corner and carefully studied the menu. I decided to go for the Cantonese noodles, while my companion chose the mapo tofu set. Two others in our group ordered Cantonese noodles and fried rice. We also shared a plate of dumplings. The food took a while to arrive as the restaurant was busy, but when it did, it was delicious. The Cantonese noodles looked appetizing with a good balance of ingredients. The noodles were firm and not soggy. The mapo tofu had a thick sauce and was not too spicy. We enjoyed tasting each other's dishes. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere, and the staff was efficient. We also tried the dumplings, which were plump and tasty. The fried rice was well-cooked with a nice charred flavor. We were all full by the end of the meal, but everything was delicious and reasonably priced. It's a must-visit local Chinese restaurant that has been loved by the community for a long time.
