I went for lunch and managed to get in without having to wait in line. I ordered the mapo tofu & chicken karaage lunch set. I waited for about 20 minutes for the food to come out. They offered a free extra portion of rice, which was delicious. It seemed like a lot of people were ordering the cold tan-tan noodles.

Ankake yakisoba set. I arrived a bit late and when I went in, they said they could only make yakisoba. I said that's fine and waited. The next customer was turned away because they had run out, so I was lucky. The set came with a small bowl of rice, which I poured some sauce over to make it like a Chinese rice bowl. It was a bit too much food. The yakisoba was cooked well with lots of ingredients, very tasty. Thank you for the meal. It would be nice to have napkins and such on the table.

The ankake yakisoba here has good cost performance. The sauce is on the sweeter side. The karaage here is also quite tasty. I wish they had some mustard for it though... The lunch set comes with rice but I don't need it (laughs). The lack of parking is a bit of a problem...

I come to Sapporo on a business trip every month and always explore new restaurants. This time, I found a place near the hotel that caught my attention, so I decided to give it a try. From the menu posted outside, it seemed like a genuine Chinese restaurant with a more traditional and rural style. I was seated at a counter for one person and ordered a Sapporo beer to start. The drink prices were reasonable. I ordered my favorite century egg from the regular menu and a dish from the seasonal menu that was a Beijing duck-style fried chicken. Both dishes were delicious. Encouraged by the good food, I ordered another dish from the seasonal menu, which was a savory pancake with chives, pork, and glass noodles. It was also tasty. I finished my meal with some dan dan noodles. Overall, it was a genuine Chinese restaurant with a rural touch, just as I had imagined.

I came back after a long time. The Maabo spring roll lunch that was available before is gone, and now it's Maabo fried chicken lunch. It costs 750 yen and comes with 3 pieces of fried chicken, which is enough to fill you up. I like spring rolls, but I also like fried chicken, so this is the perfect combination. There is also a fried chicken lunch available, but I want to eat Maabo tofu, so this is a good combination. I used to be torn between the Maabo spring roll lunch and the fried chicken lunch, but now I don't hesitate anymore (laughs).

I had lunch at a Chinese restaurant in town. The interior of the restaurant is clean, but the menu seems a bit old-fashioned. The 1200 yen lunch set seems to be the most popular. A group of students came in while I was there, but the staff handled them promptly and politely. The food was very delicious, and I would like to visit again. An ankake yakisoba costs 750 yen.

The Chinese restaurant I recently visited had the best value for money and was incredibly delicious. I had all this for just 750 yen, which was amazing. The food was so tasty that the place was always full during lunchtime with a constant flow of customers. The Qingdao beer was delicious and went really well with the Chinese dishes. Nakaorou also offers three types of bottled beer, including stout. I'm interested in trying their ankake yakisoba next time I go. Can't wait to visit again! ☺️✨

Today I had lunch at a restaurant near the office. It serves authentic Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price. The mapo tofu rice bowl is generous in portion and satisfying. The spiciness is not extremely hot, but it is enjoyable for everyone. There are not many dining options around here, so be careful as it can get crowded during lunchtime.

For lunch, I had the ankake yakisoba lunch set. I wonder if it comes with rice? They didn't have mustard, I should have asked for it. I prefer the noodles a little more cooked. The soy sauce base was slightly sweet, not bad.

I think there are three types of sweet and sour pork depending on the restaurant. One type is more sweet and flavorful with a lot of sweet bean sauce. Another type is spicier with more chili bean sauce. And the third type is lighter with less of both sauces. My preference is for the sweeter type, but this restaurant seemed to lean towards the lighter version, despite having a spicy mark on the menu. The fried rice with chili bean sauce was interesting and turned out to be very spicy, so it's a menu item to be cautious of. The hot oolong tea can be shared between two people as they offer free refills of hot water Chinese-style. The tables have acrylic dividers, but they were removed for us as we are a household. Credit card payment is accepted. The restroom is located at the back of the second floor and has an old-fashioned Showa era feel. The toilet tank doesn't fill up quickly, so you have to wait a few minutes before flushing it again.

Visited at 1:00 pm on a holiday and the restaurant was almost full, but I was able to find a seat right as someone was leaving. The restaurant is a two-story building, with the first floor having a counter and table seats, and it gives off a Taiwanese vibe rather than a continental one. I ordered the single item "Ankake Yakisoba (750 yen)" from the lunch menu. It seemed like both the kitchen and the floor were being managed by one person each, and it took about 25 minutes for the dish to arrive, probably because it was a busy time. The soy sauce-flavored ankake was delicious, with the perfect thickness and it went well with the crispy noodles. There were also plenty of ingredients. I only had the ankake yakisoba this time, but I have a feeling that the other dishes are also delicious. I will definitely revisit. Despite the current situation, they seem to accept banquets at night, making it a convenient downtown Chinese restaurant for both lunch and dinner.

There is no parking lot in the back alley Chinese restaurant. There are pots lined up in front of the store that look like snakes might come out (lol). Surprisingly, there are plenty of seats inside the restaurant. The lunch set is 750 yen and includes mapo tofu, spring rolls, salad, soup, and pickled vegetables. The almond jelly dessert is also good. I really like the taste of the mapo tofu - it's spicy and flavorful. I want to eat more (lol). Next time, I want to try the ankake yakisoba too.

Mapo tofu and spring roll lunch set for 750 yen. The small dishes were generously filled with delicious mapo tofu that was spicy enough to make your nose run, so it's on the spicier side. The large spring roll was crispy and the egg soup had a nice balanced flavor. It might not be enough for big eaters, but you can also order noodles separately. The portion was just right for me. Lunch orders stop at 2 pm. They accept payment through PayPay and au PAY. No parking available.

I have visited this place several times for lunch and dinner. I am currently on a personal kick for sour and spicy noodles, so this time I chose the Sour and Spicy Ramen for lunch. I wonder if there is a difference between sour and spicy noodles and sour and spicy ramen? The noodles were quite soft and the ramen had a good consistency. It seems like each Chinese restaurant has its own unique take on these dishes!

I came here after a long time without having my usual lunch time, arriving at 11:40 am with no other customers present. The staff informed me that they start serving at 11:45 am, but allowed me to wait inside. The restaurant had 4 counter seats and 5 table seats, with reduced seating capacity due to COVID-19 measures. The lunch menu included 5 set meals and 7 single dish options. Although I usually enjoy the hot and sour noodles, I changed my mind when I heard about the daily special lunch: stir-fried pork slices with garlic sprouts for 750 yen. I love garlic sprouts, so I quickly ordered it. The meal arrived in about 8 minutes and included salad, soup, rice, pickled vegetables, and dessert. The soup was a hot and flavorful egg drop soup, the salad was simple green salad, and the main dish of stir-fried pork slices with garlic sprouts was delicious with a light oyster sauce flavor. The garlic sprouts were crunchy, and the bamboo shoots and black fungus added a nice texture. The pork was plentiful and the spiciness from the chili pepper added a kick to the meal. It was a tasty and affordable Chinese set meal with a consistent quality. Thank you for the meal!

Arrived at noon on a regular day. 8 customers already seated, more customers arriving and sharing tables, but not facing each other so it quickly filled up. By around 12:30, there were empty seats again. All customers were dining alone. Located on the west side of the Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens, on the street by the Education and Culture Hall. Look for the sign that says "Chinese cuisine". The interior is decorated in a Chinese style, with terracotta warrior figures on the walls. The restaurant has a total of 60 seats, with a possibility of a second floor as well. The first floor has 19 seats, including a counter with 4 seats, 2 tables with 4 seats each, 1 table with 3 seats, and 2 tables with 2 seats each. There is 1 server in the dining area, and the kitchen is not visible. This time, I ordered the "Ramen Set (Tan Tan Men)" for 800 yen. They also have soy sauce ramen. The food arrived about 15 minutes later, following the orders of 5 customers before me. It came with mini fried rice, pickled vegetables, salad, and almond jelly. The fried rice was served a bit later, with plenty of meat miso on top. The soup was very smooth and delicious, with a good sesame flavor. The spiciness was just right for those who like medium spiciness. After eating, my lips felt tingly. The scent of Sichuan pepper was also quite nice. The noodles were white and curly, with a moderate firmness. The vegetables included green onions and bok choy. The fried rice was not too oily and slightly firm, with pickled vegetables in it. The salad consisted of lettuce and cucumber, with tasty Chinese dressing. The almond jelly was slightly sweet. I was quite satisfied with the delicious taste. This might be the first time I've had such a smooth Tan Tan Men! The portion size was decent, and for this variety at 800 yen, it's a great deal! Next time, I'll try either the "Ankake Yakisoba Set" or the "Fried Chicken Set".

During the weekend in the midst of staying at home, I decided to go out for a refreshing walk and have lunch. I came across a restaurant that I had been curious about, and they were open for business with infection control measures in place. I decided to go in and try their lunch set which included a dish of fried noodles with sauce on top. The set also came with fried chicken, soup, a small portion of rice, salad, and sesame dumplings. The food was served promptly and I started with the salad followed by the delicious fried chicken. The noodles with sauce were flavorful with a nice balance of sweetness and saltiness. The rice was a bit on the firm side for my liking, but overall, it was a satisfying lunch. I finished off the meal with the sesame dumplings. I might consider coming back for dinner next time. Thank you for the meal.

Located around halfway between Subway Nishi 11-chome Station and JR Kuwon Station, this Chinese restaurant was where I had dinner as I had some errands nearby. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats on the first floor, and it seems there are seats on the second floor as well, although I didn't confirm this. Due to the impact of the new coronavirus, there were few customers. We ordered the specialty "Spicy Chicken Hot Pot (1,000 yen)", as well as "Fried Chicken Wings (@150 yen)", "Gizzard and Cucumber Cold Dish (550 yen)", "Char Siu Fried Rice (720 yen)", and "Ankake Yakisoba (800 yen)", and shared them with my wife. The menu indicates the spiciness level, and the Spicy Chicken Hot Pot (marked as very spicy) was quite spicy, so those who are not good with spicy food should be careful. The Spicy Chicken Hot Pot includes chicken, tofu, choy sum, and udon, and has a decent amount of volume. The Fried Chicken Wings were crispy and delicious. Overall, the dishes had a light flavor, and the prices felt reasonable. The course menu for banquets also seemed like a good deal, so I think it would be great for drinking parties.

I suddenly felt like eating ankake yakisoba, so I went to a nearby Chinese restaurant that I had been curious about. I made it just in time for lunch, and the ankake yakisoba was packed with ingredients and tasted great! However, the mini fried rice that I ordered on the side was a bit bland and might not suit everyone's taste.

It was a visit around 12 PM on a weekday lunch, with cold weather and light rain. The restaurant was about 80% full. I chose a warming menu item, the Spicy and Sour Noodles for 720 yen. The service was a bit slow, but the dish arrived in about 20 minutes. The soup was steaming hot with a thick texture, and had a mild sour and spicy flavor. The noodles were medium-thin and slightly soft, which paired well with the rich soup. I added some vinegar halfway through to enhance the sourness. It was a satisfying meal that warmed me up. Thank you for the meal.
