Along Route 12, I often make use of Bentas' daily bento boxes. This time, I had the daily bento box (ginger pork) for 500 yen and the pork cutlet bento for 620 yen. It's quite affordable. The ginger pork tasted like a homemade dish and was delicious. I really liked the tamagoyaki (rolled omelette). The pork cutlet bento had thin meat but the flavor was good. All the bento boxes here have a good amount of food, which is nice. Thank you for the meal.

First visit on December 25th. Ebetsu is freezing cold today as well. (>_<) The cold snap has been terrifying since yesterday. (>_<) I stood outside for 15 minutes and my ears hurt so much that I seriously worried about frostbite. (>_<) At lunchtime, I decided to get a bento box, so I got a takeout from Bentai Ebetsu store. There are plenty of menu items displayed. The variety is impressive. Since it's my first time, I'll go with a safe option of Nori & Karaage Bento, please. - Nori & Karaage Bento 430 yen When I received the bento, I felt its weight. (^o^;) Opening it up, there was plenty of rice. (^O^) The side dishes included squid tempura, white fish fry, large tamagoyaki, karaage, pickled vegetables, shredded cabbage, and more. Especially the white fish fry and large tamagoyaki were sweet and delicious. (^O^) All this for 430 yen. (^O^) And tax is included. I am truly grateful. (^O^) Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back to buy again.

★Toku-Toku Bento for September 2019, priced at 530 yen (50 yen extra for brown rice). Located along Route 12 in Ebetsu City, this place currently has 3 reviews, and for some reason, Keipon gave it a 3.8 rating! The operating hours of this mysterious restaurant are inconsistent - sometimes open, sometimes closed. When you call, they may say they are on a break, but will check when they will reopen. Huh? Seems like their hours change daily. Inside the dimly lit store during power-saving mode, there is a wide variety of bento options. You order by number, but if your eyesight is poor like mine, you might struggle to see the numbers placed high up. The Toku-Toku Bento has a lot of side dishes like salmon, ginger pork, fried chicken, macaroni salad, and spinach salad - perfect with rice! You can switch to brown rice for an extra 50 yen. My husband had the "Fried Chicken & Omelette Rice" which looked appetizing. The cheap omelette rice was surprisingly tasty, don't you think? And it comes with fried chicken for just 500 yen - quite a deal! If they're open next time, I'll definitely stop by again. Thanks for the meal!

On May 3, after eating ramen for lunch, I decided to buy some snacks for drinking at home while watching a baseball game. I usually go to a place known for its "ultimate fried chicken," but I noticed that a place that had been temporarily closed was now open again, so I went there to purchase some snacks. I went to Benten Ebetsu Store and looked at the showcase. There were quite a variety of options available. I ended up buying a hamburger and some fried chicken balls. While I was waiting for my order, two more customers came into the store. It seems like there is a demand for convenient bento shops. When I got home, I set the TV to the baseball game channel and started eating. The hamburger was wrapped in silver foil and was still slightly warm after almost an hour. So, I decided to eat it as it was without reheating it. As expected, it was still slightly warm. The hamburger was not soft and fluffy, but rather hard and firm. It was a meaty and satisfying hamburger, which I enjoyed. As for the fried chicken, it looked like a typical fried chicken at first glance, but it was surprisingly not greasy at all. It remained crispy even when it cooled down. The meat was tender and the price was reasonable. Overall, it was a delicious fried chicken. If this bento shop was nearby, I would definitely visit it often. Despite the presence of major bento shops in the area, this place has a homemade feel and offers delicious food. I would love to buy from here again. It was a tasty meal! Thank you!

Well, I've had soba and now I'm heading home to get dinner. I remembered someone's review mentioning "Benta" so I used the navigation to find the "Benta Ebetsu branch". The place can seat two customers and the service is quick. I decided to order the "Grilled Meat Bento Box for 500 yen", which is a limited-time offer starting from March 1st. Although the appearance may not be appealing, the amount of meat inside is generous, which is a plus. The tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) was well-seasoned and delicious, while the zangi (deep-fried chicken) was surprisingly tasty. The rice was good too, with a piece of kombu (kelp) sandwiched between the rice and meat. Overall, the meal was satisfying and I even had some rice left over. "Benta" is delicious, at least based on what I tried.

Welcome. ---------- September 2014 ----------When heading towards Iwamizawa along Route 12, it's like "It's not on the way back!!" When returning to Sapporo, it's like "It's on the opposite side..." It's a trap that you can never reach |o| °д°)ノ|YuGachonIt's a very normal bento style with a variety of sample options. If you're unsure, you can decide by looking at the blackboard for a good deal. Today, I chose the meat and fried shrimp. Pay, sit and wait, and before you know it, you're asleep, but you wake up when called. It's the usual scene.Looking at the beef tongue bento on the lid, it looks like beef tongue, but it's thin and you can't really feel the tongue. When you take a bite of 2 or 3 layers, then you feel the tongue. The sauce-soaked rice makes you want to eat more. The fried chicken is just one piece, but it's satisfying. It has a strong seasoning. The thickly cooked egg is slightly sweet and big, so it's filling. The salad with Caesar dressing and komatsuna ohitashi is topped off with Q-chan. Just like the Sapporo branch, the volume and affordability are great. Thank you for the meal.

On December 8, 2012, after having ramen at Matsuki for the first time, I visited a bento shop that had caught my interest before. The bento shop, called Bentai, seemed to be a chain store rather than independently owned. When I entered the shop, I saw many photos of bentos displayed in the showcase, making it easy to imagine the bento options. As a fan of "karaage" (Japanese fried chicken), I quickly ordered the "karaage bento" without hesitation! I noticed there was an eat-in area at the back of the shop, which was a nice surprise. While I was observing the interior of the shop, I was called out as the "karaage bento customer!" It didn't take long, maybe about 3 minutes. I wondered if the karaage was pre-fried and kept warm. Anyway, I received my bento and hurried back home. The weather that day was very bad, with slippery roads due to light snow. It took a long time for all cars to drive slowly. Therefore, on my way back, I took the main road instead of the usual route, but unfortunately, there was an accident on Route 337, so I was redirected to a local road. I didn't know the way, so I drove randomly, which added an extra hour to my journey home (sweat). It took an hour from when the bento was ready until I could finally eat it. This was a tough situation. Now, let's enjoy the karaage bento! When I opened the lid, a nice aroma of karaage filled the air. Although it had cooled down, it wasn't completely cold, so it was still edible. There was a generous amount of karaage! I tried the karaage and it was crispy and not too salty. The chicken itself had a good amount of fat and was delicious! The rice was excellent. It wasn't just about the quality of the rice, but also the cooking method. The rice had the perfect firmness for a bento, and it was delicious even when cold. Since it was a karaage bento, it was mostly karaage and rice. The side dishes were average. While I appreciated the abundance of karaage, I did start to get a little tired of it after a while. This might have been influenced by having ramen earlier (laughs). The price was reasonable, and with this volume and taste, I would definitely visit frequently if there was a branch nearby! It had been a while since I had a homemade bento, and this bento surpassed the offerings of major chain stores. Thank you for the meal!
