I decided to use the Hokkaido support coupon that I had leftover and visited Gyu-Kaku for the first time in a long while. I was able to use the Hokkaido support coupon, so I ordered the Karubi specialty rice dish to enjoy. I also ordered a la carte dishes. And then, I ordered the Karubi specialty rice dish that was born from staff meals. The white rice was the best! \(//∇//)\

I was seated in a row which made it difficult to eat comfortably, and the lack of ventilation made it very hot while eating. I recently realized that it is cheaper not to choose the all-you-can-eat option at Gyu-Kaku, so I opted for the soft drink all-you-can-drink option with a single dish. The bill came out to be around 6000 yen for two people, so I recommend ordering individual dishes! The additional green onions and magic salt you can order are truly delicious!

On May 15, 2022, my son wanted to eat yakiniku, so our family went to Gyu-Kaku in Atsubetsu. Since everywhere was crowded on holidays, we ended up coming to Atsubetsu. When looking at the menu, I noticed there was a super spicy ramen! So, I decided to write a review about it. The spiciness comes in three levels. While the family enjoyed yakiniku, I had the spicy ramen with a beer. At first glance, it resembled Miyazaki spicy ramen. Let's take a bite... It's not super spicy (ﾟ∀ﾟ) It's like a typical ramen from a yakiniku restaurant. The noodles are thick, but the soup doesn't stick much to them... The soup seems to be made with beef bones. It's surprisingly flavorful! The price is reasonable too. If it were spicier, it would be perfect (^^) Drinking alcohol with spicy food is the best! Thank you for the meal ☆ Piro Yukin Super Spicy Level 2 may not feel spicy unless it's super spicy.

It has been over 10 years since I last visited a Gyu-Kaku, and this was my first time at this Atsubetsu branch. I had the impression that the food might be cheap and not very good, so I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Instead of opting for the all-you-can-eat option, we ordered dishes one by one. The kalbi steak was delicious. In terms of cost performance, it was quite good. My friend tried the sakura yukhoe and said it was tasty. When I struggled to download the Gyu-Kaku app on my phone, the staff kindly did it all for me. They were very helpful and friendly!

Three types of meat available: White for 980 yen/Red and White for 1280 yen/Red for 1580 yen I'm not a fan of offal so I ordered the Red MIX with only lean meat (Beef Belly Kalbi/Harami/Thick-cut Kalbi/Degi Harami) Yuzu Sour (ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ Choose 2 out of 8 side dishes: Potato Salad/Salted Cabbage/Kimchi/Sliced Cucumber The meat portion is decent with some fatty cuts mixed in. There's also an option to add more meat. We ordered the "Spicy Chicken" for 490 yen, but it wasn't spicy at all (ﾉД`) The meat quality is good for the price, and the value for this yakiniku set meal is excellent! As for the drinks... Yakiniku set meal, sounds like lunch, but they don't serve it during the day lol. One plate of yakiniku, two side dishes, all-you-can-eat rice, and 60 minutes of all-you-can-drink. The yakiniku options include the "White Mix" with mainly hormone meat, the "Red Mix" with mainly red meat, and the "Red White Mix" with both. This time, I ordered the most expensive "Red Meat Mix" for 1,738 yen. I discovered this place on YouTube and since I happened to have a weekday off, I made a reservation right away. There is a room with seats for couples, with 4 seats set up. There are partitions between each seat, so it's reassuring. I don't really like meeting people, so I made a reservation for right after opening at 5:00 PM, and no one showed up for an hour lol. The meat includes four types: beef belly toro kalbi, harami, thick-cut kalbi, and deshi harami (pork). They didn't look particularly appetizing (shitsurei!), probably lots of scraps included, but as a drinking snack, it's not bad, considering the price. You can choose 2 items from 8 side dishes. I had "edamame" and "kimchi." If it was just the meat, I might not have lasted an hour, but with these, it was just right. I thought about getting a "medium" size of rice, but since it's all-you-can-eat, I went with "small" and ended up not getting seconds, which was the right call. Unfortunately, the draft beer is an extra 300 yen, so I didn't order it. I had 2 highballs, 1 black oolong highball, and 1 black oolong tea. It's a good place to have dinner alone while enjoying a drink. It seems like this is only available at this Gyu-Kaku location in Sapporo, so it might get crowded in the future. Thanks for the meal! It is the best value for a family to go to this yakiniku restaurant. The Kalbi is 590 yen, and the Harami is 550 yen. The Kalbi is consistently delicious. The Harami was also tasty. We cut it into small pieces for our toddler to eat, and they really enjoy it. The cold noodles (Naengmyeon) at 690 yen are a must-have. I prefer them over stone pot bibimbap these days. We always order the half-size Caesar salad for 390 yen. Even though the quality of the meat may not be top-notch, it is still delicious, and that's what matters.

All the staff were very friendly, especially the female staff members who provided excellent service. Our whole family enjoyed dining here comfortably. The spacious sunken kotatsu seating was much appreciated, especially with young children. We will definitely come back again.

The menu is extensive and there is enjoyment in choosing. However, there is noticeable dust on the menu at the table seats and near the window. The staff is energetic, but that is a bit disappointing.

I went for the first time in a few years. It was close to 9 pm, and all the other shops were closing, so we went to Gyu-Kaku, which was still open. The conclusion is that it was not good. The menu had a lot of options, so it was fun choosing. However, some points that made us go "huh?" were: - Even though we ordered the all-you-can-drink soft drinks, they took forever to arrive, and the cups were dirty. - The color of the meat didn't look good. The Harami and Gyutan were not appetizing, and the quality was like the old days of all-you-can-eat BBQ, which was disappointing. - The table next to the window was dusty. - They didn't clear the plates unless we asked, and they only gave us one small bowl for sharing, even though there were four of us. - The presentation was sloppy, and the staff seemed poorly trained. - The kitchen was not clean, and the staff's appearance lacked cleanliness. The seasoning of the cold noodles was good, though. It was cold noodles with seaweed, and adding wasabi made it tasty. When I went a few years ago, I didn't feel like this. The staff had energy and enthusiasm back then. Just being a cheap chain restaurant is not an excuse for the disappointing dinner we had.

It's August 2017 and I went to Gyu-Kaku after a long time. When I was younger, I used to go there often. As I got older and my taste buds became a bit more refined, I stopped going. But today, I decided to visit again. The reason I chose Gyu-Kaku is because it's within walking distance. My husband also wanted to have some drinks. We arrived without a reservation on a weekend at 7 pm and luckily there was seating available. The restaurant has a casual feel like a family restaurant, with tables placed close together. It didn't bother me in the past, but now it feels a bit cramped. My husband had beer and I had a black oolong tea highball. The alcohol content was quite low, so I didn't feel like I could get drunk no matter how much I drank. The menu was overwhelming, so we decided to go with the "Popular 5 kinds of meat platter" for 1980 yen, excluding tax. The food was decent, typical Gyu-Kaku quality. It was enough for the two of us. We also ordered a half size of the "Choregi Salad" which was a bit salty. The "Negi Tamago Rice" in small size had a generous portion of rice and was delicious with the salt sauce mixed with green onions. The food didn't really make me want to drink more, so we only had one drink each. The total bill came out to around 3500 yen. They offer all-you-can-eat options, which might be good for families, but it's not a place I would go out of my way to visit with just adults. Thank you for the meal.

Around 10 pm on August 10, 2014, I visited a restaurant with my girlfriend in heavy rain. We dashed from the car with our umbrellas, wondering if it would be empty on a day like this. However, the entrance was crowded with a wait for one group. After about five minutes, we were seated. I ordered a beer with the all-you-can-drink option, while my girlfriend chose a soft drink. The beer was served in a clean glass with decent foam. We ordered charcoal-grilled dishes such as beef kalbi, family kalbi, beef tongue, and vegetable platter, which were all reasonably priced and delicious. We also had an avocado Caesar salad where they grated cheese at the table. I had multiple beer refills and added lamb loin and golden potatoes. We also ordered stone-grilled sesame onion ramen and a half portion of mini bibimbap. For dessert, my girlfriend had almond tofu, while I had the unique cow horn ice cream. The alcohol was reasonably priced at 980 yen, and the soft drinks at 380 yen for all-you-can-drink, making it a very affordable option for a barbecue restaurant. In total, we spent a little over 8000 yen for two people. My girlfriend and I were both satisfied with the meal. We will consider visiting a closer location of the same restaurant next time. I had some errands to run in Sapporo and felt like eating yakiniku, so I leisurely drove along Route 12. I happened to see Gyu-Kaku and looked it up, finding out they offer all-you-can-eat for ¥3,129. It's a shame I couldn't drink since I was driving. The restaurant was crowded on the weekend. The persuasive posters caught my eye. Since it's a nationwide chain, I feel like the taste is consistent. But the addictive cabbage dish is my favorite. I think it could be priced at around ¥2,500. Maybe it's because of the brand power. Anyway, it was a delicious meal.

Even when choosing from menu options with various seasoning choices, she didn't just recite promotional lines but also shared her personal preferences as a reference. This type of explanation was more helpful when making a decision compared to standard sales talk. While not all staff members may be like this, I had a very pleasant dining experience. The dessert selection is great at Gyu-Kaku, and if you want to try the trendy item (this time it's the eatable chili oil), this is the place to go. I revisited on a Saturday around 8 pm, and as always, it was really crowded. The eatable chili oil that came with the meat was delicious! It wasn't too oily or too salty, I wanted to have seconds. I love the Sakura meat yukhoe here. The thick-cut bacon was also delicious. The desserts were good, but on the small side. Other menu items were just average. The atmosphere of the restaurant was normal, not too busy, but all the staff were young and it felt a bit unsettling, but that might just be me. I prefer the seats with partitions for a bit more privacy, but this time we had a regular table, so I might try to reserve a specific seat next time.

A few years ago, I used to visit this place quite often, but the prices went up and I started eating yakiniku at home more often after quitting my job, so I hadn't visited for about a year. The other day, my husband suggested, "Why don't we go after a long time?" so we visited. We chose the all-you-can-eat menu (3654 yen...we just wanted to eat without worrying about the price later haha), and my husband opted for the all-you-can-drink alcohol (with beer for just over 1000 yen. There is another slightly more expensive drink all-you-can option with a wider variety of alcohol available). I chose the all-you-can-drink soft drinks (I think it was under 400 yen). There are two types of all-you-can-eat menus, but I recommend the more expensive one (3654 yen) because for just 500 yen more, you get a wider variety of meats to eat. As I felt a few years ago, the quality of the staff here is really good!! Although there are some young part-time workers who seem a bit apologetic, they all provide very pleasant service. The call button for table seats, which was not available before, is easy to use, but even before that, the staff come to take away plates and ask, "Would you like to order more?" at just the right timing, so I am truly grateful. I can feel that each part-time worker is considerate and attentive to the customers, which makes me really like them. As for the taste and quality of the meat, there is a certain level of trust and reliability because it is a Gyu-Kaku chain. I have never had any unpleasant experiences in this aspect. I think it's delicious. The meal serving time is not too slow, and if you ask for a grill or charcoal replacement, they do it promptly, so you can eat comfortably. The all-you-can-drink option, with tax included, is just over 1000 yen for 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink, including beer (Suntory Malts, I think), which my husband was quite pleased with. The all-you-can-drink soft drinks also include options like pink grapefruit and golden pineapple juice, which give a slightly more cost-effective feeling compared to other all-you-can-drink places (but that's just my preference haha). Oh! Also, if you sign up for the email membership (exclusive to the Atsubetsu store), you will receive emails with offers like a free plate of meat, a percentage off, or a 1000 yen discount (the content varies, but one of these three offers comes in 1-2 times a week). Furthermore, by showing your membership number, you can accumulate points based on the amount you spent, which can be converted into a 1000 yen discount voucher. The only downside is... the price, of course (ﾟдﾟ) Despite that, this is one of the places where you can leave feeling full both in your stomach and heart, so I will visit again.
