5/11 Revisited. Added a photo of a Wiener bread for 100 yen... In the 1960s, there were 3,000 elementary school students, now there are around 1,500? Our shop continues to deliver fried foods for school lunches to the local elementary schools. The other day, I posted a video on Facebook of how to serve soft-serve ice cream. My wife and I decided to visit. Me: "Long time no see." Young female owner: "Thank you for always liking our posts." Let's see, let's see! Set up the ice cream, click! Prepare the cup, turn on the switch, swish, swirl, swirl... There you go, all done! Soft-serve ice cream x2 for 520 yen. Thank you for the meal!

This weekend, I attended a funeral in Yoichi Town, marking another farewell in the second half of life. The bento we had was somber yet pleasant, and delicious too. It was appreciated that the fried food was kept to a minimum, as most of the attendees were elderly. The inari sushi in the bento was especially tasty.
