【Non-smoking】A pork bowl restaurant opened in April 2023 in the Shimamatsu area, surrounded by rural areas in Eniwa City. They have started evening business as well. The menu is also available for viewing. The location of the restaurant is along the Shimamatsu Chitose Line (Prefectural Road 600), near the Kashiwagi River, just a 10-minute walk from JR Shimamatsu Station. On May 27, 2023, at 12 o'clock, I read the review by the first-time reviewer Kimumiyu, and I was impressed that they were willing to challenge the popular restaurant Sukaikan with the same pork bowl in the nearby area. As I had five days off from my temporary job, I decided to go shopping and cycling, and have lunch on the way. There were 4 groups of customers already seated and 2 groups waiting when I arrived. Since the counter seats were full, I opted for an available table seat. I ordered the extra-large serving for 1300 yen because I just wanted to eat a lot of rice. I was happy that there was an option to add more rice for an additional charge. A pitcher of cold roasted green tea was placed on the table, which was very refreshing after cycling and sweating. The water in Shimamatsu is known to be of top quality in Hokkaido, so the roasted green tea was delicious. The daikon radish salad was fresh and crunchy, and the pork bowl was served in just a few minutes. The speed of service and the slight char on the surface of the pork made me anticipate the system of the restaurant. But ultimately, as long as it tastes good, that's all that matters. The pork had a good texture and plenty of umami flavor, especially the sweetness of the fat. It was definitely made with pork from Hokkaido, so you can't go wrong with that. The sauce on the pork at the time of serving was minimal, allowing customers to add more as they like, which was great. The rice was cooked perfectly. Overall, it was a delicious meal, and I couldn't help but think that it would be nice to have some dishes using local vegetables in this wonderful area of Eniwa, especially during the summer. Maybe offering something with local vegetables as a side dish could be a good idea. These were just my thoughts as I enjoyed my meal.

Every time I return to my hometown of Eniwa, there was a shop that caught my attention. It opened around spring this year, I believe. The location has a history of ramen shops opening and closing repeatedly, so the image isn't very good. They have a parking lot and it's quite accessible by car, but still, I had my doubts. My mother at home asked me to go and check it out, so I went on a reconnaissance mission. When I arrived around 1 pm, there was only one other customer. To cut to the chase, it's delicious. Coming from Obihiro and having tried many pork bowl specialty shops, I can say with confidence that this place is top-notch. Probably. Maybe. The meat is thicker here compared to other famous shops, so it's more satisfying. Some reviews mentioned that it was tough, but I didn't feel that at all. (The scary part of using food review websites, right?) The sauce was slightly sweet, but it holds its own against other well-known shops. The lunch set for 1000 yen includes salad, miso soup, and pickles, which is a nice touch. They also seem to pay attention to the rice they use. If you're craving a pork bowl but don't have time to wait in line at the famous shops, you'll be completely satisfied here. One thing that caught my eye was the yellow flag outside that reads "Super Delicious Pork Bowl" looked a bit cheap in my opinion... Personal impression though. I don't think they need dishes like pork bowl topped with keema curry, stamina pork bowl with kimchi, or raw egg topping. I haven't seen any other pork bowl shops offering those kinds of dishes, so I felt it might be going against the traditional way. Since they have a delicious pork bowl, they should focus on that! However, I think having udon or soba set menus would be nice. I hope they do well! I'm rooting for them.

I was torn between this popular restaurant and another one, but I chose this one. However, the meat was tough, maybe because it was thick. I couldn't finish my rice, which is rare for me as I always clean my plate. I should have gone to the other popular restaurant after all. I also ordered the Keema curry pork bowl, but it was just okay.

Tonight's dinner was pork bowl at Eniwa Shimamatsu for 1,100 yen. Since the famous pork bowl shop was not open, I decided to try Nana Rin Chayabo-san, a new restaurant that opened this year. The interior had table seating, raised seating, and a counter. Without hesitation, I ordered the pork bowl as I came with the intention of eating it. However, I was also intrigued by the Keema curry on the menu. Chopsticks and salad were served, and soon after, the pork bowl arrived. Despite the relatively empty restaurant, the service was quick. Perhaps it was because they use white charcoal to cook at high temperatures for a short time. The thick pork loin was tender and flavorful from the charcoal grilling. The sauce was light but just enough to enhance the deliciousness of the pork. It paired well with the rice and you could add more sauce if desired. The side salad, miso soup, and pickles complemented the pork bowl perfectly. It was a satisfying meal with high satisfaction.

I really love pork bowl, and the pork bowl here was so delicious!!!! I think they use both loin and belly, or maybe just the loin which was big and soaked in sauce, it was the best. The sauce-soaked rice was also amazing. The salad, miso soup, and pickles that came with it were also delicious. Overall, it was excellent!

As a fan of pork bowl, I wanted to try eating at Sukaikan in Eniwa, but I ended up trying this place instead. The daikon salad that came out first was delicious, and the pork bowl had thick slices of meat with a nice grilled texture. You can also add extra sauce to your liking. The hojicha tea served instead of water was a nice touch for me. I will definitely come back again!

Today is the beginning of the month, so I will consume a lot of reviews. A new pork bowl restaurant has opened in Eniwa!? And it's from the same owner as the famous "○kai" pork bowl, which is surprising! I heard about it on social media and decided to check out "Nanrin Chayabo" right away! It was shocking to see them open in Eniwa, specifically in the location where the ramen shop "Suzune" used to be. I didn't know that place well, but it seems like there have been changes in ownership even before the ramen shop. It's a difficult location due to poor accessibility, which may have led to previous closures. I really hope they survive this time as Eniwa citizens! There were 2 groups of customers before us and 3 groups after us. For lunch, they offer regular and large servings of pork bowl, and for dinner, they have pork bowl, set meals, and keema curry. I heard that you can also get keema curry for lunch now, so if you're interested, give it a try! I ordered the "regular serving (¥1000)"! After ordering, the salad and roasted green tea were served in 30 seconds, followed by the pork bowls in about 5 minutes! Let me break down the lineup for you: pork bowl, daikon salad, salted cabbage pickles, miso soup, and extra sauce available! The fact that they serve roasted green tea instead of water as a drink is also a nice touch! I'm happy there's a lot of salad, and they didn't skimp on it at all! The smell of charcoal fire is appetizing, this must be delicious! The pork slices are thick, with a firm texture that is soft and easy to chew! Despite the pork itself being light, the sweetness of the fat is exquisite, and the right amount of sweet sauce doesn't overpower the pork, allowing each ingredient and seasoning to shine! The savory aroma showcased by the charcoal fire is excellent, and the slight charred crust is the key to enhancing the flavor! The condiments on the table include shichimi, sansho pepper, and garlic pepper. I prefer the sansho pepper, as it adds a tingling spiciness that I enjoy! The acidity of the pickles is a wonderful accent, and there's plenty of salad to enjoy a luxurious amount of vegetables! The piping hot miso soup is also a must-have delightful element! It's a generous portion, and getting all this with the pork bowl and miso soup for ¥1000 is great value for money! I have a feeling they will thrive for a long time! They are definitely outperforming a certain famous restaurant in terms of cost performance, and in terms of taste, I prefer this one. I hope they continue to succeed... It's a tough location, but I wish them prosperity! The staff are all friendly, and the pork bowl was so delicious that I will definitely try the keema curry someday! Thank you for the meal.

It's a place in Shimamatsu Higashimachi, Eniwa City. A new pork bowl restaurant has opened along the Dodomatsu Chitose Line in Eniwa City's Shimamatsu area, and I visited the shop to check it out. The location used to be a ramen shop. I parked in the front parking lot and entered the shop. I sat at the counter and ordered a regular-sized Charcoal-Grilled Pork Bowl with 180g of rice. First, a daikon salad and chopsticks were served, followed by the pork bowl, miso soup, pickles, and extra sauce. The pork in the bowl was thickly sliced, sweet and tender, with a nice charred flavor from the charcoal grill. The sauce on the pork bowl was soy sauce-based and slightly sweet for my taste. I wish they didn't put too much sauce on the rice, as I prefer to add it myself. I enjoyed the miso soup and pickles as well. The menu didn't mention the daikon salad, and personally, I think it's unnecessary with the pork bowl. It would be better if they offered the option to exclude the salad and reduce the price slightly.

I found out about this place from a post in a Facebook food group and decided to visit since I had the day off. However, I ended up passing by it as usual. It turned out to be a pork bowl restaurant. I ordered the regular size, which came with salad, miso soup, pickles, and sauce for ¥1000. The meat was tender and delicious. I left feeling satisfied.

This is Keiton Shimomatsu, a ramen shop where places change frequently. It was my first visit alone on a weekday. I ordered the Charcoal-Grilled Pork Bowl, regular size for 1,000 yen. There are parking spaces for 2 cars in front of the shop and 4 diagonal spaces at the back. There are 3 tables, a counter, and a raised seating area, but they were not in use. The menu is simple, offering pork bowls in regular, extra-large, and kids sizes, all served with pickles and miso soup. First, a daikon radish salad was served with oolong tea instead of water. Then, the main dish was served with extra sauce on the side and condiments on the table. The pork was loin, grilled over charcoal to a delicious color and aroma. The sauce was sweet and savory, and even the regular size was quite filling. The staff, consisting of three women, were friendly and cheerful in their greetings. They only accept cash and do not offer takeout. For the time being, they are only open for lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant on May 21st because they started evening hours. I had been there for lunch before, but this was my first time going at night. I ordered the Keema Curry, which is a night-only menu item. There weren't many other customers, so my order came out in just 5 minutes. It was served in a bowl like a Keema Curry rice bowl, with 3 pieces of pork on top!
