Fuchu Lawson (located near Fuchu Driving School) has two small yakiniku restaurants diagonally across the street. They have counter seats available. You can easily spot the place as they have red lanterns outside indicating they are open for business. I ordered kalbi, sagari, horumon, and tongue. You can choose between salt and sauce for the kalbi. The horumon was surprisingly delicious! The sausage was only 200 yen, so I couldn't resist ordering it (laughs). There is charcoal in the shichirin, so you can enjoy grilled meat over charcoal. Thank you for the meal!

It is located along National Route 235 from Sapporo direction. After passing the Monbetsu Racecourse, you will come to a left curve and at the bottom of the hill in the town of Tomikawa, it is on the right side. On the left side of the national highway, there are Lawson and Tomikawa Driving School, so it should be easy to find. When I asked my colleague, who is a foodie, about a delicious yakiniku restaurant in Tomikawa, he immediately recommended "Nonki" here. We visited at night with some coworkers. The store looks like a small pub or a small restaurant in a remote area, but once you enter, there is a counter and also a tatami room. However, it might get full with around 15 people. I heard that Wednesday is the day they stock up on meat, so if you go on Wednesday, you can enjoy delicious tongue. Unfortunately, we went on Thursday, so the tongue was already sold out. It seems like tongue at this restaurant is a rare item. We ordered kalbi, sagari, horumon, and chicken meat, and all of them were delicious! Ah, I have found another favorite restaurant in Hidaka again.
