I went to the Matsuo Sake Brewery Festival in Mashike and Kunne with my friends. On the way back, we always stop by at Fujiiya. Even though they now sell soft serve at the Asahikawa Odori store, there used to be no store in Asahikawa that sold it. Sometimes we stop the bus here because someone will say "Let's have soft serve with Peko-chan!" or "Soft serve after drinking tastes great!" This visit to this Fujiiya is the first in 4 years. When we entered the store and looked at the menu, we were delighted to see that the variety has increased a lot compared to before. Despite the excitement, everyone ended up buying the regular Milky soft serve. I wanted to try something different, so I bought the "Plenty of Strawberry Milky Soft Serve" (780 yen). Back on the bus we go! The Plenty of Strawberry Milky Soft Serve was luxurious! It uses 6 strawberries. On top of that, there's Milky soft serve and strawberry sauce. It was quite good and delicious! We arrived safely in Asahikawa while having a fun conversation on the way back!

I tried the limited-time soft serve ice cream at the "Fujiya Fukagawa Sanjo Store" in Fukagawa City. I ordered the "Soft Serve Ice Cream Mix (Sakura & Vanilla) for 390 yen, while my companion got the "Soft Serve Ice Cream Sakura" for 390 yen. The soft serve had a gentle cherry blossom flavor, capturing the essence of spring, with a perfect balance of refreshing and rich taste. It was really delicious.

I went to Fukagawa for lunch and wanted to have Milky Soft serve for dessert, but unfortunately they don't have it in the winter. So I ended up buying four different sweets to take home and eat. They were all delicious. Next time, I will definitely go in the summer to have the Milky Soft serve. Thank you Fukagawa Sanjo store for the delicious treats! :)

I visited Fukagawa Soft Cream Fujikaya after dining at Shihou Restaurant and craving soft serve ice cream on the way back. It was a hot day and it seemed like many others had the same idea, as there were over ten people who visited the shop in a short period of time. The soft serve had a subtly milky flavor and the size was a bit small for a first-timer. It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

The memories of the Masuke Sake Brewery Festival tour are still continuing! In Masuke, 23 of us drank, ate, and had a great time. The bus ride was like a "nap time" until we entered the town of Fukagawa. Time to wake up? (laughs) We stopped by here last year as well, and it has become a tradition to stop by for some "Milky Soft Serve Ice Cream" on the way back! The reason for this tradition is that this soft serve ice cream is only available at this store, so we couldn't have it in Asahikawa. (If you check their website, it seems like they now offer it at the Asahikawa Ooyukidori store as well!) The first-time participants were surprised! Who would have thought we would stop by Peko-chan's store after the sake brewery festival? But soft serve ice cream after drinking sake is really delicious. The ones who were really surprised were the customers and the staff at the store. When our microbus stopped and all the adults entered Peko-chan's store, I'm sure they were shocked. We ordered the "Milky Soft Serve (cup)" (240 yen, tax included) with a topping of "Mango Sauce" (30 yen). We went back to the bus and ate it together! "Huh, why does Blue-san's have color on it?" "Maybe because you're a food blogger, you thought about the photo and chose the one with color?" they said. (sweat...) That's exactly right... When I looked at last year's review, I had strawberry sauce on it (laughs). We safely arrived back in Asahikawa!! After this, the evening part (second round) begins!

Every year, I buy my Christmas cake at Fujiiya in Fukagawa City. This year, I chose the "Christmas Souffle Cheesecake for 2,000 yen". It is a moist souffle cheesecake with plenty of Chantilly cream on top, and it has a perfect level of sweetness. It is very delicious.

We were on our way back from the "Sakagura Matsuri" in Zonomai, in two jumbo taxis with 14 men and women in their 30s to 60s. As we approached Machi in Fukagawa, one of the members suggested, "Since we can't eat this in Asahikawa, should we get some Milky soft serve ice cream from Fujiya on our way?" Fujiya shops are plentiful, but the ones that serve Milky soft serve ice cream are limited, I had heard. It seems that north of Sapporo, this shop is the only one that serves it! Of course, everyone agreed! Just an hour ago, the 14 of us were drinking, so soft serve ice cream might be refreshing! Everyone seemed to think so! Welcomed by the cute Peko-chan, we entered the shop! How many years has it been since I last entered a Fujiya shop? Everyone seemed to have reverted to their childhood, ordering soft serve ice cream! There were waffle cones, cups, and more, but we were drawn to the cute cup with Peko-chan on it, and ordered the Milky soft serve ice cream in a cup (with strawberry sauce) for 270 yen (tax included)! It had been a while since I had Milky, so I couldn't say "It tastes like Milky!" but it was delicious soft serve ice cream! Some people chose cones or waffles, and I thought about asking to take pictures of those too, but everyone started eating their soft serve ice cream as soon as they received it! Maybe because it melts quickly? I was the only one taking pictures, being a food blogger! (bitter smile)

I stopped by at "Fujiya Fukagawa Sanjo Store" in Fukagawa City on my way back from Rumoi and had Milky Soft Serve ice cream (240 yen). This time, the sky was cloudy, so I took a picture with the overcast sky in the background. It had been a while since I visited Fujiya in Fukagawa. It was about 9 and a half years since my last visit. The Milky Soft Serve ice cream is not available in all stores. I remember that 9 years ago, only this store in Fukagawa, Hokkaido had it, but now there are about 9 stores in Hokkaido offering it. You can choose between a cup or cone for 240 yen each, and a waffle cone for 300 yen. The cup or waffle cone comes with toppings like crunchy chocolate. I'm not sure if they had Choco Mix 9 years ago, maybe I just missed it. It was a bit sweet, but the Milky Soft Serve was delicious. *This is a blog post.

Creamy soft serve ice cream!

I thought maybe they bought it in Fukagawa because they came from Wakkamisaki. Would someone from Wakkamisaki buy Peko-chan at Hakodate Fujiya? No way!! Would someone from Wakkamisaki buy Poko-chan at Kushiro Fujiya? No way!! Would someone from Wakkamisaki buy Pako-chan at Asahikawa Fujiya? No way!! Hmm? Would they buy it at Asahikawa... well, okay!! It's Fukagawa, right? Why? Are they buying souvenirs? I chose dorayaki. Fujiya's dorayaki... actually, I have no memories with Fujiya's dorayaki. What, no memories at all?! Yeah! So I thought I'd like to try it. Isn't it cute? I just couldn't resist picking it up. When I tried it, the moist skin was mildly sweet, almost like a pancake, and very delicious. The bean paste was coarse and not too sweet, with a good texture, making it also delicious. Fujiya, keep up the good work!!
