On a regular night, I made a reservation in advance and visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for years. The location is about a 10-minute taxi ride from Komyoike Station. Orders are placed through a touch panel system, and the total amount is displayed each time, which helps prevent overeating. We ordered heart sashimi, harami sashimi, thick-cut salted tongue, sagari 2 kinds platter, Yonezawa beef lamb loin steak, Yonezawa beef toro tetchan, Yonezawa beef liver, special mino steak, white cabbage kimchi, and bean sprout namul. We also had 3 drinks each. The total bill for 2 people was around 19,000 yen. The bean sprout namul had a unique and delicious flavor with sesame oil and sweetness. The sashimi was fresh, especially the harami sashimi, which had a smooth texture and a wonderful balance of meat fat sweetness and umami. The tongue had a good chewy texture and plenty of juiciness. Both harami and sagari were juicy and had a good elasticity. The slightly rich dipping sauce was also delicious. The lamb loin steak was incredibly meaty and satisfying. The toro tetchan allowed us to enjoy its sweetness and texture without being greasy. The liver had a huge volume and a good elasticity. The mino steak had a crispy texture and a lot of umami, making it so delicious that we wanted to order another piece. Although the meat we ordered had less marbling, we could have eaten more, but we restrained ourselves this time. It's inconvenient to go because it's far away, but it's a restaurant I want to visit about once a year.

On a regular day off, I finally went to the yakiniku restaurant Kurochan that I had been wanting to try! Since my wife also had the day off, we made a reservation in advance for a lunch for two. I was already impressed by the photos of the roast beef bowl on Instagram, so I ordered the Miyazaki beef roast beef bowl with umeshiso cold noodles half set. My wife ordered the Miyazaki beef oxtail soup lunch. First, we enjoyed the assorted raw meat platter with heart, harami (skirt steak), tsurami (tripe), and tan (tongue) slices. Each piece was small but flavorful, and it was a delightful dish for someone like me who enjoys trying a little bit of everything. Then, the highlight was the roast beef bowl. It had two types of roast beef slices - one with more lean meat and the other with more marbled meat. The colors and flavors were distinct, making it a unique experience. The roast beef itself was delicious, but I felt that a slightly thinner cut with a bit more sauce would have made the bowl even better. Since we were already there, we decided to try some grilled meats as well. We ordered the salted tongue and sagari harami (marinated skirt steak) as additional items. Each plate came with four slices. The tongue was impressively large and thick, providing a satisfying chew. The harami was exceptionally tasty, possibly the best I've ever had. It was delicious on its own or dipped in the fruity and slightly salty sauce. We shared and enjoyed two slices each. Due to our lack of coordination in ordering, the total bill ended up a bit higher than expected, but with better planning, we could have enjoyed a variety of dishes at a more reasonable price. While Miyazaki beef is undoubtedly high-quality, it felt like a luxurious lunch for me.

I went for lunch with a friend who made a reservation for us, and we entered the restaurant right at opening time. All the meat dishes were delicious, and the size of the meat sushi was just right. It was really tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

I enjoy yakiniku 2 to 3 times a year. The joy of being able to enjoy Yonezawa beef in Osaka is beyond words. We ordered the Kuro-chan platter, Toro-tetchan, Tetchan, salted tongue, thick-sliced salted tongue, tsurami, harami, sirloin, marushin, rump, and A5 wagyu sushi platter. It cost 6,500 yen per person, which is cheaper than usual. Three women, and this time we were completely satisfied.

In Kansai, there is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy "Yonezawa beef," one of the three major Wagyu beef varieties alongside Matsusaka beef and Kobe beef, which are hard to come by in Kansai. The restaurant has won numerous awards, including being selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. I recently tried their weekday lunch set featuring Yonezawa beef, available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The set included Yonezawa beef harami yakiniku, Yonezawa beef sashimi, Yonezawa beef roast beef salad, white cabbage kimchi, daikon kimchi, bean sprout namul, rice, soup, drink, and ice cream. The sashimi was sweet and delicious, and the harami was my favorite, with a unique richness and tenderness that impressed me. The meat melted in my mouth instantly. My partner kept saying how tender the meat was. In addition to the meat, the set included side dishes and a drink, making it a great value for the price. The atmosphere and the friendly smile of the manager made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Yonezawa beef is not just tender but has a perfect balance of marbling and redness. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to try it out. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I arrived around 11:50 but the restaurant had already opened, so I wasn't sure if I could get a seat. Surprisingly, there were no other customers despite it being lunchtime. I sat at a table in the middle and ordered the recommended grilled meat set with Yonezawa beef loin in a small size. The food came out quickly, but the salad was just okay, the tofu was average, and the beef sashimi was decent. The rice, oolong tea, and soup were also average. The Yonezawa beef loin was quite tender, which some may appreciate, but I personally don't place too much importance on tenderness. The meat was flavorful, but not exceptionally delicious (it's tender, not tough – so those who prefer tenderness might like it). I paid with a card, totaling 2500 yen, and now I'm off to try out the next top dessert shop.
Ordered menu:
- Oolong tea 330 yen (tax included)
- Kurochan platter half size (1 serving) 3,300 yen (tax included)
- Thickly sliced salted tongue 2,980 yen (tax included)
- Harami (skirt steak) [1 piece] 550 yen (tax included)
- Tsurami (tuna) [1 piece] 330 yen (tax included)
- Akami (lean meat) [1 piece] 440 yen (tax included)
Thank you for the meal! Thank you, Yakiniku Kurochan!

Izumi City's first Kansai-based Miyazawa beef specialty restaurant, which has also been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. Located in Izumi, this Miyazawa beef specialty yakiniku restaurant is a rare find in Kansai, as there are not many places in the region that offer this brand from Tohoku. The restaurant is conveniently located for those traveling by car, with a decent amount of parking available. The thickly sliced salted tongue is a bit pricey but worth it for the quality of Miyazawa beef you get. The meat has a crispy texture and a rich flavor, making it incredibly delicious. The harami (skirt steak) is also flavorful and tender, with a great mouthfeel. Despite its high fat content, the hiuchi (diaphragm) is surprisingly not overwhelming, with a smooth and mellow taste. All the horumon (offal) dishes are made with Miyazawa beef, and they are all of high quality and delicious. While it may be a bit of a trek for those living in the city or northern Osaka, it is definitely worth a visit for those who live nearby or are Miyazawa beef enthusiasts.

One of Japan's three major wagyu beef, "Yonezawa beef," specialist store in Izumi City, Yakiniku Kurochan, has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants in 2022. Yonezawa beef is considered a rare breed as only 30 cattle are shipped per day. I heard that you can enjoy Yonezawa beef at a great price, so I went to try it out.
- Yonezawa beef harami set: ¥3,000
- Yonezawa beef sashimi platter
- Yonezawa beef roast beef salad
- White cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, bean sprout namul
- Rice
- Wakame soup
- Drink
The main meat is incredibly tender with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat. It's so delicious that you'll keep wanting more.
- Yonezawa beef tsurami set: ¥2,500
- Chewy and flavorful, comparable to lean meat. It was delicious and satisfying.
High-quality meat, great value for money, and a recommended yakiniku restaurant. Be sure to try Yonezawa beef and enjoy it to the fullest.

"Miyazawa beef," which is on par with Matsusaka beef and Kobe beef, is the specialty of this yakiniku restaurant. This popular restaurant, which has also been selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants on Tabelog, serves Miyazawa beef, of which only 30 cows are shipped per day. The restaurant has won the Excellent Beef Buyer Award from the Miyazawa Beef Brand Promotion Council every year, and there are many trophies on display. I tried the following dishes: Harami sashimi for 1,630 yen, which I recommend eating with rice and a raw egg on top; Harami for 2,100 yen; Kameno red meat thigh for 1,680 yen; Tsurami for 970 yen; Hiuchi for 2,200 yen; fresh raw liver for 1,000 yen; Shimacho for 860 yen; thick-cut salted tongue for 2,980 yen; and fresh salted liver for 1,100 yen. The liver was deliciously tender and a must-try! Starting the diet tomorrow...

Yakiniku Kurochan is a popular yakiniku restaurant located about a 40-50 minute walk from Hikarimachi Station. It is known for serving rare Yonezawa beef in Osaka, and was selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in the west in 2022. The restaurant faces Route 216, making it a bit difficult to park, but they do have a parking lot in front of the store for customers. We tried the Tsurami Yukke, Yonezawa beef assortment, and large rice. You can conveniently order dishes and drinks using a touch panel, which makes the ordering process stress-free. The recommended Tsurami Yukke has a perfect balance of the unique chewy texture of the Tsurami, flavorful special sauce, and rich egg yolk. The Yonezawa beef assortment includes cuts like Marushin, Harami, Haneshita, and fillet steak, each offering excellent meat quality. Marushin has a perfect ratio of fat to lean meat, Harami is chewy and packed with flavor, Haneshita is fatty and pairs well with yakiniku sauce and rice, and the fillet steak delivers the direct umami of Yonezawa beef, making you want to eat it with rock salt. Each cut was exquisite! Yonezawa beef offers a different taste experience compared to Tajima beef or Matsusaka beef commonly found in Kansai, so be sure to visit and enjoy it. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Good evening! Today's highlight is the Yamagata beef specialty restaurant "Yakiniku Kurochan"! It's rare to hear about a Yamagata beef specialty restaurant, but apparently this is the only one in Kansai as most of them are located in the Kanto region! The restaurant has a calm atmosphere with dark colors throughout, creating a relaxed space. They also have private rooms! The owner seems to be a fan of Dreams Come True as the BGM is exclusively their music.
I tried the "Yamagata Beef Harami Yakiniku Set" this time! At first glance, it may seem pricey at 3000 yen, but it's a lunch set featuring Yamagata beef, one of the three major Wagyu beef brands, and it even comes with beef sashimi, making it a high-value meal! I can't help but think they are cutting it close to the cost price. Yamagata beef truly lives up to its reputation as one of the three major Wagyu beef brands! Whether it's the harami or the beef sashimi, the meat is incredibly flavorful and even the marbling is sweet and rich! The harami, in particular, is impressively delicious, tasting great with the sauce and rice. This is a lunch that will satisfy everyone and is a bit of a luxurious treat! If you're looking for a yakiniku lunch in South Osaka, this is the place to go! Thank you for the meal!!

Lunch at Yakiniku Kurochan: 1kg of Yonezawa beef hormone bowl for 1980 yen. This restaurant exclusively serves Yonezawa beef, one of Japan's top three beef brands. I was so hungry that I got carried away and ordered a 1kg hormone bowl. The rice was topped with plenty of hormone marinated in sauce. Mixing it with the egg made the rice even more delicious. The fat from the hormone was sweet and not unpleasant, without any strong smell. It was amazing, but I overestimated myself with the 1kg portion. My stomach couldn't handle it in the end. They offer takeout if you have leftovers. I still have other menu items I want to try. When should I go next?

After a long time, I went to Yakiniku Kurochan today and had tongue and Harami as the main dishes. Kurochan is as delicious as ever. To finish, I had plum cold noodles. I forgot to take a picture of Kurochan. Thank you for the meal as always. #Yakiniku in Izumi City #Yakiniku Kurochan #Yonezawa beef #Foodie #Want to connect with foodies #Gourmet in Izumi City

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant specializing in Yonezawa beef, one of the three major Wagyu beef brands along with Matsusaka beef and Kobe beef! Located in Izumi City, the owner, who knows Yonezawa beef the best, carefully selects the meat for customers to enjoy. I tried the Tan Yukke for 1,520 yen, which allows you to directly taste the flavor of the meat. The fresh salted liver looked amazing. I ordered the thick-cut salted tongue in a lump and grilled it slowly, then cut it to my preferred thickness. The harami and beef toro sushi were also delicious. It's not located near the station, so you need to go by car, but it's worth a visit! This might be the best yakiniku restaurant in the southern Osaka and Izumi area. I highly recommend it!

Kurochan is a yakiniku restaurant located in Izumi City in the southern Osaka area, specializing in Yonezawa beef! I went there for dinner and tried Yonezawa beef for the first time. I didn't know much about Yonezawa beef, but apparently it is one of the three major Wagyu beef varieties along with Matsusaka beef and Kobe beef! The menu had a variety of meat dishes, and the fresh liver (980 yen) was particularly beautiful and delicious. The texture and flavor of the liver were unlike any I had tried before. I also ordered the tongue, which was thickly sliced and cooked carefully. Despite its thickness, it was tender and juicy. I was impressed by the deliciousness of Yonezawa beef! I also enjoyed other cuts of meat without feeling too full. I couldn't resist trying the ultimate combination of yakiniku and rice, TKG (tamago kake gohan). Although I ordered a la carte this time, I saw that they also offer set menus and courses, so I definitely plan on returning. I'm curious about their lunch menu too! The restaurant is a bit of a distance from the station, so you'll need a car to get there, but I highly recommend checking it out!

I had a reservation for 12:30, but I arrived a little early by taking the Nankai bus from Otori Station and the staff suggested I go to the restaurant. Although I had reserved a counter seat, there was an available table seat, so I sat alone at a 5-person table. I ordered the Grilled Harami Set for 3000 yen, two glasses of draft beer for 550 yen each, and added the limited 1 serving of Tongue Steak for 1630 yen. I also received a complimentary plate of grilled salted tongue. Rice was available for free refills. The Yonezawa beef was delicious as it had a good flavor without being too fatty. The lunch set may seem expensive at 3000 yen, but the quality was high. It included roast beef salad, a platter of 4 types of Yonezawa beef, kimchi assortment, soft drinks, wakame soup, rice, and the grilled Yonezawa beef tongue as a bonus. The additional Tongue Steak for 1630 yen seemed to be priced at cost, and it was thickly cut. I used scissors to cut it and it was a generous portion. Overall, I was very satisfied and felt it was worth coming here. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant called "Yakiniku Kurochan" in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture to try out Yonezawa beef, the top-tier variety. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a few tables and a counter, run by a friendly male owner and a female staff member. They were very particular about serving Yonezawa beef, evident from the numerous awards and trophies displayed at the counter. I ordered the Yonezawa beef loin yakiniku set for 2,500 yen and the Yonezawa beef harami yakiniku set for 3,000 yen. They also served Yonezawa beef tongue as a complimentary dish. The restaurant's specialty was A5 grade Yonezawa beef with a BMS score of 10 or higher, which is a rare and high-quality type of beef. The dishes arrived promptly and were beautifully presented. The Yonezawa beef loin was incredibly delicious, melting in my mouth with perfect umami, sweetness, and juiciness. The Yonezawa beef harami was also outstanding, tender and flavorful. The complimentary Yonezawa beef tongue was a pleasant surprise, with a great texture and taste. The set also included Yonezawa beef roast beef salad, three types of kimchi, four types of Yonezawa beef sashimi, tofu, soup, rice, dessert, and a soft drink, all of which were delicious. The quality and quantity of food for the price were impressive. Highly recommended!

I visited the restaurant on a regular Wednesday at 12:30. I made a reservation online through Hot Pepper 30 minutes before. I ordered the roast beef and oxtail soup set. The food came out quickly. The set includes kimchi, tofu, salad, and beef sashimi, which made me excited. The taste was very delicious. I was impressed by what seemed to be the manager's interaction. He gave clear instructions to the staff while thanking them repeatedly. The taste, service, and manager make this restaurant truly exceptional.

The nearest station is Komyoike Station on the Semboku High-Speed Railway, but it is difficult to access by public transportation. The restaurant is known for its champion beef, which won the gold award at the Yonezawa beef evaluation competition. It is rare to find Yonezawa beef in Kansai, and there are only a few places where you can eat it. The menu includes courses, but this time we ordered a la carte. The restaurant has iPads where you can order while keeping an eye on your budget, which is great! All the cuts of meat were amazing, but the "10-second loin," "fresh liver," and "heart sashimi" were particularly memorable. The hormone was fresh and had no odor, thanks to the fact that they buy the whole cow. The quality of the meat, with its marbling and sweetness, made us feel like we were truly eating top-notch beef. The prices are on the higher side compared to other Kansai yakiniku restaurants. Although we may not have the most discerning palate when it comes to distinguishing between different types of beef, we can still appreciate the high-quality meat they offer. The restaurant is well-known for its lunch menu, so we plan to visit for lunch next time. Of course, it is also recommended for special occasions like dinner on a special day!
