The salt was good (strong taste), but the miso was tasteless. So, I decided to try the soy sauce ramen. How is it? It's too salty. I can't drink the soup. If it's normal, it's tasteless, and if it's strong, it's too salty. What should I do? And what's inside? Are those meatballs? Or is the ground meat just not separated?

I knew about this place but never really paid attention to it. I saw Nishiyama's flag, so I decided to make an emergency visit. The table seats were occupied by regulars, so I sat at the counter. I ordered the soy sauce ramen. There was no menu at the counter where I sat, so I didn't know what they had. I just went with the soy sauce ramen. It took about 7 minutes for the food to arrive. The smoke from other customers' cigarettes was bothering me, even though I smoke too, I never smoke in places like this. The taste of ramen is not just on the tongue, it's also about using your nose. The cigarette smell can affect the taste of the ramen. The noodles were cooked well, not too soft like the current trend. The soup was rich with lard, and the bean sprouts and wood ear mushrooms were crunchy and delicious. The char siu was firm, not the soft kind cooked in a pressure cooker. I like this kind of char siu. Overall, it may not be a standout ramen, but it resonates with an old guy like me. Next time, I'll carefully look at the menu before deciding. There might be something interesting to try. ♫

The miso soup had no flavor. The salt was on the salty side, but it was decent when requested. It feels like stepping back into the Showa era. Showa Ramen!! I personally like it. ★Comments, likes, follows★ would make me happy. I do not let overall ratings influence my own evaluation. No matter how highly rated a restaurant is, if the food is not good, I will rate it as such. Even if the food is delicious, if the cleanliness is lacking or the staff's service is poor, I will give a low rating. I will provide my own evaluation without being influenced by others.

This is a place in Minami Ward, located at 1-1-2 Susukino along National Route 230. The restaurant has been serving mainly ramen since around the Heisei era, and I visited after a long time. I parked my car in the spacious parking lot next to the restaurant, entered, and sat at a table away from the counter where regulars were smoking. I ordered the "Salt Ramen" as usual and waited for it to be served. It arrived in about 8-9 minutes, with a Showa-era atmosphere. The soup was a light broth mainly made from animal ingredients, with a slight hint of vegetable flavor and a slightly salty taste. The noodles were medium-thick, lightly curled yellow Sapporo noodles, cooked slightly soft, which may be due to regional preference. The toppings included plenty of Mizuna on top of which were soft bean sprouts, onions, minced meat stir-fry, one slice of chashu, menma, wood ear mushrooms, and chopped green onions. The price was quite reasonable for this ramen, which had a nostalgic feel with slightly soft noodles. It seemed to be a ramen that has been enjoyed by regular customers who have been accompanying the restaurant for nearly 30 years.

I recently went for lunch. I ordered cold ramen, while my partner ordered fried rice and gyoza. The cold ramen was quite filling, but the taste of all the dishes was just average. I felt somewhat satisfied, although there is another ramen shop nearby that is much better. A few days later, I remembered that this restaurant also offers delivery, so I checked their business hours and called. An unenthusiastic lady answered the phone, asking for our order. We ordered fried rice and gyoza. After a long pause, she asked who was calling. It's just a 5-minute drive away, so it was strange that she didn't recognize us. After another long pause, she grumpily said, "We're not doing deliveries today," without any explanation or apology. I found this kind of customer service unacceptable. Since the food wasn't that great anyway, I recommend reconsidering visiting this place in the future, as there are plenty of other restaurants in the area.

Located in Minami-ku, "Ramen Koko" is the only ramen shop in the area. Heading south down Ishiyama Street from here, there are only a few ramen shops near Jozankei, so this is likely the southernmost ramen shop in Sapporo. I visited on a weekday around noon. The place was not crowded, but there were a decent number of customers. I sat at the counter and ordered the basic "salt ramen." The cooking was done by an elderly man, with an elderly woman serving as the waitress. The beautiful hostess, resembling Mariko Kaga, was assisting them. When I asked for extra green onions as a topping, they generously gave me more. The cooking took about 15 minutes. The soup had a typical salty flavor, nothing special but not bad either. The curly noodles were also decent. The standout was the watercress topping. I seem to have a weakness for "Kyoto vegetables" like watercress and Kujonegi. Overall, it was better than I expected. If I have the chance, I would definitely visit again. The pleasant service was a nice touch. I heard that they will soon start serving their seasonal cold ramen, so I look forward to trying it next time, perhaps during cherry-picking season.

This is a ramen restaurant located along Route 230. They have sunken kotatsu seating, counter seats, and table seats, making it a spacious restaurant suitable for individuals or families. There are many regular customers. They provide hot towels which is a nice touch. - Half & Half Ramen (\700): I chose the shoyu ramen for this set which includes half ramen and half fried rice. The toppings include seaweed, green onions, and chashu in a light soup. The noodles are not curly and it has a nostalgic taste that was delicious. - Seafood Ankake Yakisoba: This dish was packed with surf clam, shrimp, squid, vegetables, and was very tasty. This restaurant is recommended for when you want to eat nostalgic ramen.

It's like old Sapporo ramen, but not quite... I've been there four times, but I couldn't find any distinctive flavor. To put it bluntly, it's a ramen that you can eat when you're hungry and can't find anything else. It's not a place I would recommend to ramen lovers. It feels like one of those old drive-ins along the main highways. The fact that the soup is drinkable is not bad, but I wonder why they don't put more effort into it. Maybe it's because the shop was started by a public servant looking to make some extra money? (bitter smile)

I used to occasionally stop by this place when I was playing in Sapporo and heading back to Hakodate before reaching Nakayama Pass. Despite the intimidating name, my husband likes this place because it has a spacious parking lot and is not too crowded. He also appreciates the casual and unpretentious atmosphere of this restaurant. Although our go-to dishes are ramen and gyoza, the first time we visited, the owner kindly gave us some extra gyoza because he accidentally burnt them. We always enjoy the delicious ramen and gyoza, and our kids always fall asleep soundly on the drive back to Hakodate with full bellies. Recently, I noticed a sign advertising cold ramen for 400 yen, which seemed like a great deal. Today, I saw this restaurant featured on a TV show, mentioning that the cold ramen special will only be available for this week.
