When heading towards Yuubari from the Kizawa area, I noticed a cute sign at Seikoma in Horonai (Mikasa) for a bakery called "Hatsune." Since I had some extra time today, I decided to wander over to the sign. It was a narrow road, and I thought it would be close by, but it turned into a residential area with apartment buildings. I had no choice but to keep going. Just when I started to feel anxious, I saw the sign on the right. There were cars parked outside, so I knew it was the shop. It's a lovely little shop. It turns out they only sell on Saturdays in October, so I was lucky to be able to buy something. The prices are very reasonable, and even with all I bought, it was only 700 yen. It seems like there are regular customers from the neighborhood. When I tried the baked goods at home in the evening, they weren't hard, which made me feel warm inside.
