I visited on a rainy Saturday during snack time. There were quite a few open seats. I ordered the "Montblanc Piccolo Size" for 1,130 yen, which was served directly from the showcase onto my plate (without removing the film). The portion was substantial for the price, and it was generally quite sweet. There were plenty of chestnuts and nuts mixed in. The café offers Wi-Fi and power outlets, and from my window seat, I could watch the trains on the Chuo Line, making it a great spot for train enthusiasts. However, the plate was cleared away quickly, so if you plan to use this place as a work café, it's better to have a drink with you. They accept cashless payments.

Since it was before 11 AM and too early for lunch, I decided to try the morning menu. It includes options like fruit sandwiches, pancakes, and French toast, all with a drink. I chose the French toast, which came in a hot cocotte dish made from baguette. It was surrounded by various fruits, and topped with vanilla ice cream, served with a side of maple syrup. The French toast itself was soft and creamy except for the crust of the baguette; while it was delicious, I would have preferred a bit more texture. The fruits, including some beautifully sliced grapes, were tasty, but since the French toast was hot, some of them warmed up too. The vanilla ice cream, of course, started melting, creating that classic dilemma of having to rush to finish the French toast. It’s hard to eat slowly! The counter seating lets you look down at the train tracks of the JR station while you eat. There are also free power outlets available. Since the place has only been open for about a year, the interior is very clean and well-maintained.

I hesitated to enter because of the impression the cake prices gave me, but when I looked at the menu, it wasn't as bad as I thought (maybe similar to the pricing at Fruits Orchard Riebel?). Even in mid-October, there were still shaved ice desserts available. The ice had milk jelly mixed in, but the coldness made it hard to taste, which was a bit disappointing (the milk jelly might not even be necessary). I would like to visit again for lunch next time.

I went to APOLLONFRUITGARDEN to buy a birthday cake for my wife. We could have eaten in the shop, but since we have delicious tea at home, we chose to take it out. I had the Berry Berry Cotto, which is packed with four types of berries. It cost 1550 yen. The cake was really filled with berries, which made the sponge thin, and the cream was lightly sweet. Although it goes against the current trend of Instagrammable desserts, personally, I prefer cakes where I can take a big bite of sweet whipped cream along with the sponge.

I went there to have some kakigori (shaved ice). However, the cakes are quite famous, and I was really torn about what to choose... The kakigori had plenty of syrup and fruit chunks, and I was very satisfied! The espuma? added a smoothness that kept it from getting boring, which was one of the highlights. I think I’d like to try a different kind next time.

In September 2024, I revisited a shop located at the entrance of the OPA shopping facility next to JR Hachioji Station's south exit. I went there on a weekday evening. This time, I ordered a cake set! I chose the Piccolo size of the Mixed Zgod for 830 yen, along with a hot latte, bringing the total to about 1,500 yen. The Mixed Zgod features a variety of fruits, making it visually enjoyable and delicious to eat. The strawberries, kiwi, and especially the mango were particularly tasty. The sponge cake was moist but not overly so, just the right amount. The whipped cream had just the right level of sweetness, creating a good balance. The hot latte was warm and came in a generous portion. I highly recommend this set!

This is a store located at the entrance of Hachioji OPA. I thought it was a cake shop, but it's actually an Italian restaurant that offers not only desserts. The Italian menu is supervised by Chef Masayuki Okuda from "Al Cacciatore," an Italian restaurant in Shonai City, Yamagata Prefecture. The interior is bright and has a casual atmosphere similar to a family restaurant.
★ Romaine Lettuce and Crab Salad: The salad has crab, as shown in the menu photo. However, the crab has a somewhat lackluster quality, resembling canned crab meat.
★ Pizza with Bacon and Fennel: This is a pretty standard pizza.
★ Italian Hamburger: It comes with a white sauce and maybe a tomato sauce. There are three small pieces, and it might be better to have one large piece that would be juicy and fulfilling.
★ Specialty Pork Sauté: This dish includes herbs, but it feels like a regular pork sauté. While it’s not bad, it’s cooked a bit too thoroughly and tastes homey.
It might be best to focus on the desserts when dining at this restaurant.

In August 2024, I revisited a shop located at the entrance of the OPA commercial facility adjacent to the South Exit of JR Hachioji Station. I visited on a weekday evening. This time, I ordered the "Peach Parfait," which is a summer limited item available only after 3 PM, priced at 1,500 yen. When it was served, I was amazed! Beautiful pink peaches, resembling a baby's cheeks, were beautifully arranged. With one and a half peaches used, the peach flavor was incredible. The flesh of the peach was firm, providing a nice crunch. It was sweet yet refreshing, with an undeniable freshness. The strawberry sauce was a bit lacking, but it balanced well with the ice cream. With so many peaches, it truly felt like a parfait from a fruit shop. For peach lovers, this is a must-try! I will definitely be back for a repeat visit.

On July 2024, I revisited a shop located at the entrance of the OPA commercial facility adjacent to JR Hachioji Station's south exit. I visited on a holiday afternoon and ordered a mixed sandwich with hot coffee for a total of 1,450 yen. The mixed sandwich was simple, consisting of ham, sliced cheese, tomato, and leaf lettuce. The toasted bread had a crispy surface. However, the ham was thin, making the sandwich feel somewhat lacking, more like a tomato sandwich. The accompanying watermelon and melon were disappointing as they lacked freshness and sweetness. The coffee, on the other hand, had a pleasant bitterness and was quite good, but the drink was served first, and the food took a long time to arrive, which impacted the timing negatively. Given the content and price, my overall satisfaction was lowered.

After having Italian food, I wanted something sweet, so I ordered the strawberry chocolate banana zuccotto (piccolo size) and the chocolate banana parfait from a shop I had been curious about. I was surprised by how large the chocolate banana parfait was! It's quite sweet, so I recommend pairing it with black coffee!

In June 2024, I revisited the shop located at the entrance of the "Opa" commercial facility at JR Hachioji Station's south exit. I visited on a weekday evening. The shop specializes in fruit-based and Italian cuisine. This time, I ordered a fruit sandwich and an iced coffee, totaling 1,760 yen.
The fruit sandwich featured a cream that was moderately sweet, filled with strawberries, kiwi, mango, and pineapple. While the fruits themselves weren't particularly tasty, the overall balance of the sandwich was great due to the mild sweetness and strong acidity. The bread was moist and perfectly complementing the flavors. The serving size was generous, making the price feel reasonable. However, it might become monotonous if eaten alone, so sharing with several people would be better.
As for the coffee, it was weak and tasted more like iced tea, which was disappointing. By the way, it's worth mentioning that this Italian shop is supervised by Chef Masayuki Okuda, a master from "Al Checciano," located in Yamagata Prefecture. I look forward to trying a meal here on my next visit.

I found this place while returning from a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant with my wife! It had an amazing vibe. Since we were full, we decided to wander around the Hachioji station area for a bit before coming back here an hour later. By then, I was feeling thirsty and a bit hungry, so we decided to have some cake as a break! The appearance of the cakes here is stunning, so it took me a while to choose which one to get! I ended up ordering a cheesecake and a melon-flavored cake. To sum it up, they were delicious, but the level of sweetness here didn’t quite match my taste! The cream and fruits were great, but I found the sponge cake too sweet for my liking! It’s tasty, but I can’t eat too much of it!

I had the daily special chicken lunch^_^ The skin was crispy, and the seasoning was just the right amount of salt, making it really delicious. I was surprisingly full, so I couldn't manage to have dessert this time, haha. Next time, I'd like to go just for the sweets.

I ordered the daily lunch special, which was a hamburger. It had an authentic flavor and was delicious. It came with a salad, soup, and fruit, and I could choose between a baguette or rice. Since it’s a fruit shop, the fruit was very fresh and tasty as well!

In April 2024, I revisited a shop located on the second floor entrance of OPA, right outside the south exit of JR Hachioji Station. They offer fruit cakes, parfaits, and pasta, among other meals. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the fruit parfait for 1,580 yen. It included apple, pineapple, blueberry, orange, grapefruit, kiwi, melon, strawberry, raspberry, and mostly banana. Due to the variety, it took quite a while to be served. While none of the fruits were overwhelmingly impressive, they were all quite tasty. The pineapple and banana were the most delicious. However, I was disappointed with the whipped cream, which had lumps that lingered in my mouth, not pairing well with the fruit. Next time, I think I’ll go for a fruit platter or yogurt instead. Alternatively, I might try lunch there! It's a shop that is easy to enter even if you're alone!

I visited the restaurant during an event at JCOM Hall. I arrived before peak time, but the food service was slow, and I ended up leaving after taking a sip of the café latte I ordered after my meal. The daily special, which was a roasted chicken dish, was delicious. My friend had the doria, but it seemed to lack flavor.

My son finally went to sleep! Yay, it’s Mama's break time. I'm currently at the Hachioji Opa, and to make the most of my break, I need to slip into a nearby store. So, I decided to drop into a café on the second floor. March is incredibly busy. I can hardly remember a day when I finish work on time. My only break is during lunch, and I work until just before I need to pick my son up from daycare. My workload has exceeded my capacity, and I've even had to ask my boss for help. Even when I work events on weekends, I don’t get compensatory time off for my shortened hours... In the midst of such a hectic routine, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to treat myself to an expensive parfait! So I ordered a strawberry parfait for 2,420 yen. Here it comes! It’s piled high with strawberries, so let’s dig in. What I like about this parfait is that it’s filled with strawberries right through the middle—they haven’t just added cornflakes to bulk it up at the bottom. The strawberries are delicious, as expected. The other components are just whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. Since we're in the Reiwa era, I expected something more creative, like a delicious sauce or strawberry gelato. The lack of creativity makes me hesitate to pay 2,420 yen. Also, photos of strawberries almost always look overly enhanced. I saw a photo of Takami from The Alfee in the menu and wondered what it was about, only to find out he's making wine.

There were lots of strawberries in it! Of course, it was delicious, haha. There was also alcohol! Highball was great! I also did takeout on the way home! I think there was a green salad too. It's a place I'd like to try for a meal! I want to visit again!

I visited on Saturday around 3 PM and waited about 5 minutes to get in. I ordered the Very Berry Cott (1,573 yen) and a blended coffee (550 yen). The cakes displayed in the showcase look so delicious! It’s great that you can enjoy them comfortably in the shop. The actual cakes look even more tempting than the photos in the menu. The abundance of fruit is truly satisfying, and the coffee pairs perfectly with it. It goes well with tea as well. If you want to enjoy a little luxurious moment, this is the place to go. I definitely want to visit again.

This place is all about strawberries. Even though it's filled with strawberries, I'm having a hard time deciding what to buy. This season really is all about strawberries!
