While wandering around various shops in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, I discovered a new location of Dim Sum Tower Taipei!? Although I wasn't sure of the exact number of branches, it was small and had "Hakata Station South" written on it. The Dim Sum Tower Taipei Hakata Station South branch was completely empty at around 9:30 PM on a weekend, which was nice for a quiet dinner! It’s great that there are places to eat normally at this hour. Inside the restaurant, there are six counter seats, three four-person tables, and two two-person tables, and it was pleasing to see a variety of meal options available even at night! There were two male staff members who provided attentive and friendly service, which was appreciated. The concentrated mango juice was half price at 200 yen for a limited time—it was a reliable and delicious mango juice! I ordered the shark fin chahan (fried rice) for 1,100 yen, and to my surprise, it actually had shark fin in it! It was generously filled with shark fin, three shrimp, julienned bell pepper, julienned carrot, and egg, all adding to a colorful and perfect fluffy fried rice with a light, flavorful sauce that enhanced the taste without being overpowering. This was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced—definitely a must-try dish! Next, I had the hot and sour soup noodles for 900 yen, which also had a good amount of food. The moderate sourness and spiciness combined with the aroma of ginger was right up my alley! I started sweating while eating, and the ginger and black vinegar made it feel quite healthy! It contained ingredients like pork, shiitake mushrooms, beaten egg, tofu, shimeji mushrooms, leafy greens, and carrots, making it colorful and hearty! For a change in flavor, adding pepper, chili oil, vinegar, or soy sauce made it richer and even more delicious! While the flavors at different Taipei branches can vary significantly, this one hit the mark! Typically, such places tend to be rich and heavy, but here they offered a light yet flavorful experience. The quality is impressive! They also have all-you-can-eat and drink options, making it a great choice for gatherings. I can confidently recommend this place!

This is a Chinese restaurant that has recently opened near Chikushi Street, south of Hakata Station. On this day, I visited this place that has been established near Sanno Park for lunch. The restaurant has a conventional layout with table and counter seating, and I chose to sit at the counter to watch the preparation of my food. I ordered the daily lunch special from the menu. After a short wait, my daily lunch special, priced at 850 yen, was ready. The main dish for the day was sweet and sour pork. The pork was tender, cut into small, easy-to-eat pieces, and it was seasoned to suit Japanese tastes. Rice was available for a refill. The accompanying small dish was chilled tofu, perfect for a hot day. The soup, served alongside pickled mustard greens, was a classic thick egg soup. A mini almond jelly was also included with the lunch. The restaurant is located along the road, one block southwest of Chikushi Street. Restaurant: Tenchin Rōdai Taipei Address: 1F, Lila Swing Pier Hakata, 3-2-26 Hakata Station South, Fukuoka City Phone: 070-8937-2253 (Note: The prices, hours, and days off mentioned are from my visit; please confirm with the restaurant when you plan to go.)
