The location is Ougokucho. Well, actually it's a visit from Namba on foot. There is a famous restaurant called "Soul" that I know of, but this time I made a reservation based on a friend's recommendation. It's the original "Soul" restaurant, not the two other BBQ Soul branches. It's a well-known place for its delicious food at a reasonable price. The seating is limited to 2 hours. We arrived a bit early, so there were available seats, but when we left, it was fully booked. On that day, a friend returned from Malaysia and wanted to eat Yukhoe for sure. We ordered 2 servings of Yukhoe, 2 servings of Upper Liver, and then grilled items such as salted tongue, Harami, Upper Harami, loin, skirt meat, and belly. We also added hormone and Harami, and finished with cold noodles. For drinks, we had draft beer, highball, and black makgeolli. Honestly, all the meat dishes were excellent. Especially the Yukhoe was of high quality and had a sweet taste that we enjoyed. The quality of the meat, except for the Upper Harami, was standard, but even the standard meat was of higher quality compared to other restaurants. When comparing prices with nearby restaurants, Soul is the clear winner in terms of meat quality and cost performance. Enjoying delicious meat with standard cuts at a BBQ Jumbo-level restaurant like this is a sign of a great restaurant in my book. I would like to try ordering mainly premium cuts next time. By the way, the total bill for 3 people with plenty of food and drinks was 24,000 yen. It was a very satisfying BBQ experience.
