The ramen here is served piping hot with white negi (green onions), giving it a nice touch. The sesame seeds add a good accent, and there is a hint of ginger that adds to the flavor. The tender chashu (roast pork) goes really well with rice, surpassing the usual pork bowl. In conclusion, when eating ramen here, white rice is a must. Since this place is a Chinese restaurant, I am also very curious about their menu other than ramen. Next time, I'll try the shrimp fried rice.

Rice also comes with it. The strongest ramen! As expected, if you go for the classic, it's Hokkai Ramen. All the set meals are delicious! The miso ramen here. The richness and umami are irresistible. Surprisingly, even though it's miso, it's light and easy to eat, yet it has a deep richness. The noodles are medium thick and curly. After finishing eating, if you mix the rice with the remaining broth, it's the perfect finish. I will definitely go again!

When I ordered cold ramen, it turned out to be more like tsukemen style. The dipping sauce was soy sauce and tan-tan, with a generous portion of noodles similar to tsukemen. I always get confused when it comes to tsukemen with separate toppings. The chicken chashu was just the right firmness, and the sauce was typical for cold noodles. I think it would also be delicious with the tan-tan soup. The food here is generally tasty and the portions are large. If you order a set meal, you'll get a rice bowl as well. They might ask if you want a small rice, but even that comes in a big bowl, so be careful.

This day was not very hot, but I was in the mood for some "hiyashi chuka" (cold noodles). I saw a notice that they had started serving it here, so I couldn't resist ordering it from the ticket machine. To my surprise, the dish looked completely different from what I had imagined! It was served in a ramen bowl, with toppings and sauce in separate dishes. The sauce looked light, like the one you'd find in zaru ramen. The portion of noodles seemed quite generous. There were pickled ginger and seaweed already on top. The toppings included thick slices of egg, sliced cucumber (not shredded), cherry tomatoes, ham, kikurage mushrooms, and chicken char siu. I added the toppings to the noodles and poured some sauce on top. I'm not sure if I was supposed to eat it like tsukemen (dipping noodles), but I tried it that way. The sauce was light and soy sauce-based, maybe a bit more acidity would be nice. I'm not a big fan of char siu, so I gave some to my senior colleague. Hmm... I think I prefer regular hiyashi chuka. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I visited Sapporo. This was my first time after the pandemic. I stopped by a ramen shop that my colleagues and I had visited a few times before, Hokkai Ramen. I ordered the Special Miso Ramen for ¥1,300. As expected, miso ramen is a must in Sapporo! It was delicious. We arrived around 11:30 am, so we didn't have to wait to be seated. By the time we left (before 12 pm), there was already a line forming outside the restaurant.

This is a hidden gem♪ They have a variety of light drinking sets available, perfect for when you want to eat a lot or just have a small snack. It's not very well-known, but it's actually part of the same group as Matsuo Jingisukan, and the lamb karaage made with Matsuo Jingisukan's lamb was really delicious.

I came here for the first time in so long that I can't remember how many years it's been. It was crowded during lunchtime, and even at around 1:00 PM, it was full. I ordered the daily Hokkaido set for 1,000 yen, which came with a mini salad, fried rice, and ramen. The ramen of the day was white miso ramen. The taste was like Hokkaido itself! The ramen had a strong flavor of lard, miso, and sesame, and the thick curly noodles were amazing. You can really enjoy Hokkaido ramen here. It's worth the full stomach for 1,000 yen at lunchtime when it's packed.

Last night, I had quite a bit to drink at home before heading out to a bar. I only got about 3 hours of sleep, but surprisingly, I felt pretty energetic in the morning! However, as the end of the workday approached, I started feeling a different kind of fatigue and my stomach was demanding ramen! So, I headed to the Hokkai Ramen Sapporo Station store. Despite having a hearty lunch, I still felt quite hungry. I ordered the special Hokkai set with a large serving of soy sauce ramen. The set also came with half a fried rice, 3 dumplings, and a salad. The ramen arrived in about 10 minutes, and it was a substantial portion! The soy sauce ramen was reminiscent of the ones I used to eat in the past. The pork slices were delicious, and the bamboo shoots were sweet and tasty. The fried rice was light and flavorful, and the dumplings were also delicious. I was starting to feel quite full, but my stomach wanted more! I indulged and felt completely satisfied. I have work again tomorrow, so I plan to go to bed without drinking. Good night!

This is my first visit. I arrived before noon on a weekday so it was smooth, but there was a line forming after I started eating. I came knowing they had Chinese chirashi, but I also ordered the grilled dumplings. The chirashi was full of ingredients like egg, bamboo shoots, meat, and wood ear mushrooms. The dumplings were juicy and more to my liking. This Chinese restaurant also has a presence in the food sections of Sapporo department stores like Mitsukoshi, Tokyu, and Esta, under the name "Dim Sum Sapporo".

Located in the underground food court of the Sotetsu Building, there is a Chinese restaurant called "Ra-men." Despite the name, they offer a variety of delicious set meals. On this particular day, I chose the daily special Set B, which was "Spicy Stir-fried Pork and Eggplant." The table was a bit cramped for four people, and the restaurant was quite crowded. The set meal was served relatively quickly and came with a generous portion of rice. I accidentally forgot to request less rice, but the flavorful stir-fry dish made me finish it all. In addition to the pork and eggplant, there were plenty of onions and garlic sprouts, which worked well for me as I still hadn't taken off my mask. The meal also included miso soup with clams and a salad. On another visit, I tried the Stir-fried Egg with Black Fungus, which was also a substantial and egg-rich dish. Next time, I might try their ramen as well. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

At first glance, the exterior may seem intimidating for a woman dining alone. However, I was surprised to see several solo female customers who seemed like regulars. The menu offers generous portions and everything I tried, such as stir-fried mushrooms and eggs, deep-fried lamb, and stir-fried shrimp and eggs, was delicious without being too heavy. While the place may seem popular among office workers, I think it's a hidden gem for women as well.

Located in the Sapporo International Building B1F, in Sapporo's Chuo Ward, Hokkaido, this Chinese restaurant is connected directly to the subway concourse and is just a short escalator ride up from the 2nd basement floor. It used to allow smoking, which made it difficult to enter, but now it is smoke-free, which is fantastic. As soon as you enter, there is a ticket machine where you can purchase your meal ticket. The staff are efficient and provide excellent service, guiding customers to their seats promptly. The interior has counter seats in front of the kitchen, as well as table seating. Despite visiting for a late lunch on a Saturday around 2 PM, the place was almost full, with a diverse mix of customers including office workers, shoppers, and elderly women enjoying a midday drink. The A set meal on this day featured shredded pork with green peppers, served with plenty of rice and a flavorful egg soup. The food was delicious and satisfying, and the restaurant's cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, a great place to enjoy Chinese cuisine in the Sapporo Station area.

It's a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the special plate set meal this time. You can choose one main dish from the two daily specials of the day, and it comes with fried chicken, spring rolls, and shrimp chili. I didn't know this, but it seems to be a branch of the Tenshin Sapporo group of restaurants. The main dish today, pork and vegetable stir-fry with green Sichuan pepper, has a good flavor and goes well with rice. The other side dishes are decent. The only downside is the miso soup, which leaves a bit of a strange aftertaste. Overall, I think it was pretty good. Thank you for the meal. (*´ω`)

I remembered a senior with a connection to rugby who recommended this place when he was assigned to Sapporo, so I visited around 6:30 pm on a weekday. I was busy that day and couldn't eat lunch, so I was eager to eat! It's been a while since I visited the famous curry restaurant "Colombo" in the basement of this building. Since I was alone, I sat at the counter. I flipped through the menu. Hmm, everything looks delicious... I remembered that my senior said the fried rice here is excellent. Sapporo was cold that day (it's always cold in winter...), and I wanted to warm up with ramen. Just then, I noticed the "Special Hokkai Set" on the menu. It includes ramen (you can choose from miso, salt, or soy sauce), half fried rice, and 3 dumplings for 1400 yen! I ordered this set (with miso ramen). It arrived shortly. The 3 dumplings were delayed. The fried rice is indeed delicious! The large slices of pork and slightly crispy rice mix well with the egg. It's not something you'd find at an ordinary Chinese restaurant. Of course, the ramen is also delicious. The dumplings that arrived later had chewy skin and paired well with the fried rice. It made me crave plain rice. I want to try other items on the menu as well. Thank you for the meal! #Recommended by Mr. Nishimura

It's the end of the year, so everywhere is crowded. Even the ramen shop, curry shop, and gyudon shop at Apia were all full even though it was past 2 o'clock. The curry shop at the International Building also had a long line, so I decided to leave. As I was about to leave, I noticed that the lunch set A was sweet and sour pork. I like sweet and sour pork, but it's too much trouble to make it myself, so I decided to dine in. I was seated at a table in the back. The dish was filled with plenty of onions and garlic sprouts. Sometimes when you go to a Chinese restaurant, you get sweet and sour pork with mostly pork and vegetables as decoration, but I love the onions in sweet and sour pork. I also like green peppers, but garlic sprouts are good too. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Wednesday was the day for Colombo's simmered hamburger curry, but the line was too long, so I went to Hokkai Ramen instead (another popular local Chinese restaurant!). I bought a meal ticket near the entrance first, and couldn't decide between the Hokkai set and the A set, but I wanted something hearty, so I went with the A set which was probably similar to the liver and garlic stir-fry. The restaurant was packed! There were many Hokkai sets and individual ramen orders being served, so it took about 20 minutes for my order to arrive. The visual presentation of the A set was perfect! The liver was tender and delicious, with plenty of garlic sprouts! It felt like I was having a proper meal set after a long time. It was a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal!

I visited around 1pm on a regular day. I was planning to go to Colombo for curry, but it was crowded so I decided to come here instead. The restaurant was quite busy but I was able to find a seat. The tables are spacious and I was happy to sit alone. I ordered the Hokkai set (salt ramen and fried rice). The ramen was quite ordinary, it tasted like something you would find in an old food court. The fried rice was nicely cooked and tasted decent. The portions were large and I left feeling full. Most of the customers were men over 30 years old.

I finally came here to have a daytime drink! Our group had been talking about wanting to have Chinese-style drinks for a while. We chose the B set, which includes 3 drinks and 2 dishes. Since there were 3 of us, we each chose a different dish. I had imagined it would be a casual Chinese place, but the flavors of the dishes were quite authentic! The dumplings had a strong star anise flavor, and the eggplant and pork stir-fry also seemed to have star anise. The sausages were all different flavors, which was interesting. Personally, I liked the shredded pork with green peppers the best! We used a coupon from a local magazine, which made it a good deal. As we were leaving, we saw some salarymen lining up at the entrance. Feeling a bit guilty, we decided to go to our next spot...

Day drinking٩(ˊᗜˋ*)وStarted day drinking from 11 am! Thank you for finding the place for us~! A friend found this place where you can start drinking from 11 am, haha. We ordered the "Day Drinking Set" which has three options: A, B, C, and we chose B. It includes 3 drinks and a choice of 2 food items, all for 1800 yen, including the table charge. The food choices were mapo tofu, gyoza, steamed chicken with sesame sauce, and eggplant and pork stir-fry with chili. The best dish was the gyoza, perfect with beer! Other dishes were also good, with a reliable taste of casual Chinese cuisine. However, since the place gets crowded with office workers around noon for lunch, it might be best to enjoy a quick drink from 11 am to 12 pm like we did. Thank you for the meal! Off to the next place!
