【Takeout】A chain of kiosks located in train stations nationwide, this review is about the store at JR Shin-Sapporo Station. The store is located right outside the ticket gate. Visited again on May 16, 2023 at 5:00 PM. I was planning to try the fresh Northman, but ended up getting the regular one for comparison. I haven't bought Northman in a while, but on this day, I went for the pumpkin flavor priced at 180 yen. The pie crust and pumpkin filling were exquisite. While the regular one is also delicious, I slightly prefer the pumpkin flavor. (#^.^#)

I had to wait for about 20 minutes for a transfer at JR Shin-Sapporo Station. It was around 10 o'clock and I realized I needed to get something to eat here or I wouldn't have lunch. I decided to stop by the station's kiosk. They had a wide variety of items, including local souvenirs for tourists who forgot to buy them. They also had alcohol, bento boxes, sandwiches, onigiri, snacks, magazines, and newspapers. I bought the "Yakisoba Roll" for 108 yen and the "Large Onigiri (Autumn Salmon)" for 160 yen. I paid with my Suica card. The "Yakisoba Roll" had soft bread with sticky yakisoba noodles and a rich sauce with mayonnaise. It was quite intense. The "Large Onigiri" was a big size from Sekoma's Hot Chef, with a mild saltiness and firm rice grains. I wish it had a bit more filling. I quickly ate them and continued with my work. Thank you for the meal.

I don't usually review convenience stores, but I wanted to record this because I personally found it delicious. I stayed near Shin-Sapporo Station and decided to head to Susukino. On the way there, I got really hungry, so I bought an onigiri at a kiosk right by the Shin-Sapporo Station ticket gate. It was a beef tendon onigiri and SAPPORO SOFT (a bottle of shochu). This kiosk also sold souvenirs. The onigiri was from a place called Sazae Shokuhin, made with Hokkaido rice. I paid with electronic money and ate it on the station platform. The beef tendon onigiri was so delicious! And the SAPPORO SOFT was different from the cup shochu you find in Kanto. It had a deep flavor, maybe due to the water quality or the smoothness of drinking from a bottle, or maybe it was the atmosphere of the station in Hokkaido. In any case, it was delicious.
