Cowbell House 2022.11 School What I can do now is to support at least the food and beverage industry while being very careful. Let's all work together and give it our all! Today, I wanted to eat meat, so I went to Cowbell House (^-^)/ Location: Hachio, Obihiro City, within the Livestock Training Center. The exterior is a two-story training center with white walls. Inside, there are spacious 2-person tables, 10 tables, and a 6-person table. Outdoor barbecue (reservation required) available. I ordered the Toyonishi Hamburger Dish for 1,100 yen (tax included). It arrived in about 8 minutes. It was served on a hot steak plate. The meat is Toyonishi beef, full of flavor and juicy, very delicious. It also comes with a fried egg and a sauce that is not too strong, making it tasty. Next time, I will come to try the pork kalbi skewers. Thank you for the meal. Cowbell House 2022.09 What I can do now is to support at least the food and beverage industry while being careful enough. Let's all work together and make it happen ✨ Today, I feel like having some meat so I'm heading to "Cowbell House" (^-^)/ Location: Hachijo, Obihiro City, within the Livestock Training Center. The exterior is a two-story training center with white walls. The interior is spacious with 10 two-person table seats and 1 six-person table seat. Outdoor barbecue (reservation required) available. Ordered the seasoned pork belly teppanyaki for 1,000 yen (tax included) ✨ Ready in about 8 minutes. Served hot on a steak plate. The pork belly meat with fat is well-seasoned with miso, goes well with rice, and the sweet fat is delicious. The crispy burnt edges on the steak plate add a nice touch. Next time, I'll come to try the Genghis Khan dish ⤴️ Thank you for the meal m(__)m Cowbell House - Business hours: 11:00-17:00 (Last order at 16:00) - Closed on Mondays #######2022.10.06 Added photos - Aged Teppanyaki Genghis Khan Set for 1,350 yen (tax included).

Let's all work together✨ Today, I visited the Western-style restaurant in Yachiyo that I was curious about, "Cowbell House" (^-^)/ Location: Obihiro City, Yachiyo, within the Livestock Training Center. Cowbell House 2022.09 What I can do now is to at least support restaurants while being very cautious. Let's all give it our all and come together with a positive mindset. Today, I visited "Cowbell House" in Yachiyo, Obihiro to try out the menu that I had been curious about at this Western-style restaurant that I couldn't go to on Monday because it was closed. The location is inside the Livestock Training Center in Yachiyo, Obihiro. The exterior is a two-story training center with white walls. Inside, there are 10 tables for two and one table for six people. They also offer outdoor barbecue (by reservation). I originally wanted to try the Tokachi Hayashi, but since I was there, I decided to go for the steak to boost my stamina in the hot weather. I ordered the Beef Stamina Teppanyaki for 1,000 yen (tax included). It arrived in about 11 minutes. It turns out it wasn't made with Toyonishi beef for stamina, so I should have gone for the steak instead. The beef was 300 grams of Hokkaido beef, cut into easy-to-eat pieces with some marbling. The Toyonishi sauce was fruity and paired well with rice. The texture of the meat was satisfying and delicious. Next time, I'll come back to try the Toyonishi beef. Thank you for the meal. After a three-year hiatus, the Yachiyo Ranch Festival returned, this time in an online photo rally format from July 22 to August 17. In addition, I read in the local newspaper about a special menu at the Cowbell House, so I decided to visit. Upon entering the restaurant, I changed into slippers and was guided to a designated seat. Despite the crowd, the service was a bit slow due to the number of customers. I ordered the Teppan Beef Steak comparison set for 3000 yen, which came with two plates of rice. The portion was quite generous, with one plate of rice being sufficient. The dish consisted of two teppans, one with Toyonishi beef (lean meat) from Tokachi, weighing 250g, and the other with Icehouse aged beef (crossbred cattle) from Hokkaido, weighing 180g. The steaks were cooked to medium-rare for the Toyonishi beef and medium-well for the crossbred beef. Despite the difference in thickness, both meats had a similar taste and texture. The steak was served with a butter lemon sauce and black garlic-infused Toyonishi sauce, which added depth to the flavor. The side dishes included grilled potatoes, green beans, carrots, corn, and onions, along with a serving of rice. Despite being offered a refill, I managed to finish the meal. The experience was satisfying, and I recommend visiting this restaurant for a wide variety of menu options.

I visited with my son and his wife for lunch. This place is surrounded by a ranch and you can fully enjoy the soothing green nature. I had teppanyaki beef from Toyonishi, while my son and his wife had steak. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The sizzling hot teppanyaki was mouth-watering. One bite and I knew this was a rice thief. The rich and sweet sauce would make you want to eat endless bowls of rice. I caught a glimpse of the steak and thought it looked great... I'll have to try the steak next time! The only thing that bothered me a bit was that the rice was a bit firm.

I visited the Livestock Training Center (Cowbell House) located on a small hill at Yachiyo Ranch after seeing Toyonishi beef in Obihiro. I had a steak there. The menu says 200g, but it looked more like 250g in terms of volume. The side vegetables and beef sausages are all locally sourced. The steak was very tender, not greasy at all, and even the elderly person I was with finished it all. Toyonishi beef refers to a brand of beef produced by Toyonishi Farm in Obihiro. The vast grounds of Toyonishi Farm allow thousands of cattle to grow freely, and they are raised with a planned and uniform feed and fattening program, ensuring consistent quality and taste. While there are various brands of beef out there, they often vary in taste and quality as they are produced by different livestock farmers in the area. The Livestock Training Center was established in 1987 as a training center for livestock and wool processing. It is widely used for livestock training, cooking training, as well as general training and meetings. The facility offers accommodation and training facilities, and the restaurant serves Toyonishi beef steak, Tokachi specialty pork bowl, hamburger, dessert, all made with plenty of locally grown ingredients. In the snow-free summer, female cows are grazed on the grasslands.

Tokachi-produced Toyonishi beef steak set. The mountains are close by. Having steak in a place like this (excuse me). Soup and salad come first. The steak is cooked on a hot plate, you pour sauce on it, and flipping it is a must. Toyonishi beef is said to be lean, but it is tender and the marbling is sweet. The surrounding scenery is also a feast for the eyes.

I visited to experience the essence of Tokachi. The steak was huge, tender, and delicious! It wasn't too heavy and I could finish it easily. However, the corn soup that came with it was a bit salty. The view outside was beautiful, with a feeling of being surrounded by nature!

I went to Cowbell House! I visited for lunch with a work client and a business partner from a supplier! This place is located on a ranch and is known for its steaks! You can even see the cows (lol). The customers from far away really stand out...it must be a popular tourist spot. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and bright. Oh, you have to take off your shoes and change into slippers here! Today, we didn't even have time to look at the menu before they ordered the steak (lol). The customers always end up treating me to a meal...so the steak was automatically ordered (lol). *Obihiro-produced Toyonishi beef steak set 3400 yen, comes with rice, salad, and soup. I can't usually have such an expensive lunch in the middle of the day! Let's enjoy it properly (@^^) Now, here comes the steak! Huh, it's 200g but it looks so big? Let's dig in~ I'll pour the special Cowbell House sauce on it. Ah, it's delicious! You can taste the meat with every bite. Yeah! This sauce is really good! It's hard to describe the taste...maybe it's kind of stamina-boosting? (^^) But the meat fibers are a bit bothersome, it's hard to cut through them (^^) But I'm full now. Thank you for the delicious steak, Cowbell House! (⌒0⌒)

This year's end-of-year lunch party is here again. It's been happening around this time every year... I wonder how many years it has been now? This year, the steak was surprisingly tender and delicious! It has always been tasty before, not that it wasn't, but it was a bit on the tougher side, giving that feeling of really eating meat. But this time, everyone was surprised by how tender it was! The portion was generous too... Personally, I really liked the steak sauce. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I've been starting to prefer softer meat. It's a bit far from town, but why not give it a try? I think the steak set was around 3,400 yen? (Includes mini salad, soup, steak, and rice) I didn't pay for it myself, so I'm not entirely sure... Sorry for forgetting to take a picture of the rice.

Every year, at the end of the season, our company takes us out for a meal. We are treated to a steak set for 3,300 yen excluding tax (includes salad, main dish, rice, and a drink). I looked at the menu on the way back and wondered how much it would cost since we are treated to this meal every year. I can't afford to have lunch at this price on my own, so I am always grateful for the treat. Today, I arrived much earlier than the reservation time and noticed some strange things. There was no option to choose how the meat was cooked, and the lemon and cream that usually come with the meat were missing. The salad was served after the main dish, almost like a dessert. Some people even had it after finishing their meal. The meat was a bit rare for my liking, but it was still delicious. The set meal with dessert and ice cream that we planned to order in advance was not available this year, which was disappointing. Every year, I think that it would be better if there were curtains or some sort of shading on the windows, especially for the seats by the window on sunny winter days. Despite these minor issues, the meal was enjoyable.

A very pleasant restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while overlooking a vast pasture with many cows grazing and the majestic scenery of the Tokachi Mountains. During lunchtime, it is bustling with tourists and ranch staff, and the service is efficiently handled by elderly gentlemen. The menu mainly features dishes made with Toyonishi beef, along with other local ingredients such as pork from Tokachi, vegetables like yams, and dairy products like milk and soft serve ice cream. Rest assured, this is a breeding ranch where cows are raised in the summer before being returned to dairy farmers, so you are not eating beef from cows that may be slaughtered tomorrow. We ordered the Toyonishi beef hamburger set, steak bowl set, grated yam with wasabi soy sauce, and Tokachi mushroom potage. The beef was lean and flavorful, not tough or chewy, but tender and delicious. The yam was also delicious, so we bought some to send to our family. They also sell processed food like sausages. The ranch offers accommodation and programs like sausage and cheese making experiences at the adjacent processing facility, making it a fun place to stay and enjoy activities in the summer, with a leisurely lunch at the restaurant if you have the time.

2012.09 After finishing my health check-up, I let loose and indulged in eating a lot (≧m≦) I was craving hamburgers so I decided to visit this place ♬ There aren't many places in Obihiro where I can find hamburgers that suit my taste, but I've been curious about the hamburger that comes on a hot plate here. This time, they were also having a steak half-price fair on weekends, but I had my heart set on the hamburger, so I ordered it! It came out in no time after ordering ✿ It seems difficult to cook such a thick hamburger in a short time... Maybe they steamed it? The hamburger made of 100% beef is meaty and full of volume (o^∇^o)ノ It comes with a sunny-side-up egg on top. The sauce here is homemade like the steak sauce, so I had high expectations, but compared to the soy sauce-based steak sauce, it felt slightly lacking. It's on the sweeter side, so when combined with the egg, it becomes even sweeter and a bit disappointing; v; Personally, I wanted a bit more of a spicy kick like black pepper. I tried sprinkling some salt and pepper from the table, but unlike black pepper, it was subtle... I am convinced that this hamburger would go much better with steak sauce! So, next time I visit, I want to ask for it and have a rematch with steak sauce o(*^▽^*)o~♪ The hamburger itself was fluffy and very delicious ✿✿✿ The menu had slightly changed, so I will update it. Thank you to those who voted for the previous menu. Please understand. ☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆2012.03 I went to "Cowbell House" o(*^▽^*)o This is a restaurant located on a small hill on the Yachiyo Ranch in Obihiro City (*^-^) The first floor is a restaurant, and the second floor is a training facility. After yesterday's sukiyaki with Shihoro beef, I still felt unsatisfied (lol) so I went here to have steak ♬ How many years has it been... probably about 15 years, I think ^_^; I had been here before, and their recommended dish was the "Yachiyo Variety," a value set that included a variety of items like rice, beef sagari skewers, croquettes, Yachiyo sausages, salad, etc., but it was no longer on the menu; v; I was a little disappointed... Instead! Guess what! Maybe because I've been good lately (lol) the usual 3900 yen Tokachi beef sirloin steak was half price at '1950 yen' during the spring fair ☆(゚∇゚☆)(☆゚∇゚)☆ I'm glad I came (TwT.) Unfortunately, the sky was overcast... and it even started snowing; v; This steak was a generous 250g! I asked for it to be cooked "medium rare" because I get stomach upset easily ☆ Those who ordered during the fair also received a buffet of rice, bread, soup, dessert, coffee, and matcha latte ('▽'*) The sauce is homemade, and you add it yourself ♬ At first, I was sure I couldn't finish 250g, so I checked if I could take the leftover meat home, but I ended up eating it all (*^m^*) The meat was cooked perfectly, very tender, and juicy, spreading a delicious meaty flavor in the mouth ∬´ー`∬ "Tokachi beef" Banzaiヾ(´▽`;)ゝ The bread and soup from the buffet didn't impress me much, but the pumpkin dumpling dessert was very delicious ♬ There was still snow on the ground, and the road was slushy, so my car got dirty; v; It wasn't snowing in Obihiro city, and there was a bit of sunshine, so I went to the car wash on the way back, but it started snowing again during that time; v; I returned home very satisfied, wondering if my recent behavior was "good... or bad..."♪(*´▽`*)ノ゛

I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. There were no cars passing by, and we continued to drive through nature until we finally arrived. It was off-season and there were no people around, so I thought it might be closed, but it was actually open! I think the opening hours were from 11:00 to around 16:00, so I recommend going there for lunch. There were no other customers besides us, and the restaurant had a nice log cabin interior with a good view and plenty of sunlight. The staff, who seemed very friendly, served us water and tea. I ordered the hamburger for 1200 yen and a salad for 500 yen. It came with rice and soup. My companion ordered the steak set for lunch, which also came with rice, soup, and a mini salad. The rice portion was quite generous. You could also choose bread instead of rice, and we got butter rolls and sliced French bread with butter. The hamburger was big and juicy, topped with a sunny-side-up egg that was about 4 cm tall! It was really delicious. The steak was also large, but I found it a bit tough compared to the hamburger, which I thought was tastier. The salad dressing was really delicious! It had a gentle sweetness, maybe from grated apple or potato, and a hint of olive oil. I would buy the dressing if they sold it separately. Overall, I was completely satisfied in body and mind! I highly recommend visiting on a sunny day.

This is a restaurant located about 30 km southeast of downtown Obihiro, within the Yachiyo Ranch. The view from the window offers a stunning panorama of the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range, making it an ideal location on clear days. They occasionally have promotions such as half-price steaks or complimentary dessert. They also offer milk from Asunaro Farm in Shimizu-cho on their menu. The steaks are generously portioned, tender, and truly delicious, exuding a sense of luxury that leaves you feeling satisfied. Additionally, they have accommodation facilities on-site, making it highly recommended for travelers. Next door, they hold monthly workshops on sausage-making, cheese-making, ice cream-making, etc., which could be combined with a meal at the restaurant during the lunch break for the best experience. It may be quite a challenge to make the journey here just for the restaurant, as there isn't much else around besides the ranch.

There was also a Tokachi specialty, pork bowl. In the corner of the menu, it was written that they prioritize local natural ingredients and provide dishes without additives to enjoy the natural flavors. We chose the Eight Choyo Variety, which includes sausages, salad, and rice for 1,350 yen. The homemade sausages were delicious, and the salad with fresh vegetables and unique dressing was tasty. The Eight Choyo Uska for 1,550 yen had butter rice with mushrooms, beef cutlet, and special sauce. The combination seemed strange at first, but the taste was exquisite with a great balance of flavors. The Jumbo Hamburger made with 100% Tokachi beef was flavorful and had a generous portion. We also tried different dishes to compare and enjoy. The prices may seem a bit high for a tourist spot, but the quality and quantity of the food make it worth it. If you are planning to visit the Obihiro area, make sure to stop by this restaurant.

I visited the restaurant, Cowbell House, at Yachiyo Ranch three times out of season. The staff are all older men... Each time, I had the hamburger! The demi-glace sauce is delicious! The hamburger is thick and juicy, goes well with the fried egg. The potatoes are tasty too. If you're a woman, you might find the portions a bit too much unless you have a big appetite... My partner ordered steak, hamburger, and hashed beef rice each time we went, but still thinks the hamburger is the best! The hashed beef rice wasn't very tasty. They occasionally have promotions like half-price steak, it seems!

Thank you for your continued support. This restaurant might be the one I have visited the most in the Obihiro area. It is located on top of a small hill in the middle of a peaceful field, with a training facility attached. The view of the tranquil pasture from the window is also a treat. The restaurant serves excellent meat dishes, such as beef and pork. Their fillet and sirloin steaks are top-notch, and they also offer dishes like pork cutlet curry, steak curry, and escalope. My favorite is the beef cutlet and butter rice dish called "Yachiyo Esca"! Sometimes I crave its taste! My partner, who loves Japanese cuisine, enjoys dishes like pork bowl and sauce cutlet bowl. He is very picky about soba noodles, but he always eats the mountain vegetable soba here, even in cold weather. He likes the moderate firmness of the noodles, which gives them a unique charm different from traditional soba shops. This restaurant has a taste that will keep you coming back for more!
