I tried the famous ikura donburi (salmon roe rice bowl) at the stadium, but opted for the mini size since I didn't need much. I also had a hokke (Okhotsk Atka mackerel) menchi (minced meat patty), even though I had just eaten croquettes. Maybe the shishamo (smelt) would have been better. Anyway, the main dish, the ikura donburi, was great - they served me a huge portion. It was my first visit, but I was able to confirm a few things, so I think I can make good use of it next time. Thank you for the meal.

When watching baseball, I got a seafood bowl for 900 yen from Chikyusan for takeout. I felt that it was a bit small for the price. I wish there were more varieties of seafood. It's good that the soy sauce and wasabi are separate, making it easy for kids to eat.

It's 8:00 PM on August 23, 2023 at Escon Field. Oh, hello, it's Kamen! I met up with my nephew at the stadium. I arrived late, so we had a meal first. I ordered a mini ikura bowl, and my nephew ordered a large one! They generously topped it with ikura. Thank you for the meal!

This shop inside Escon Field in Susukino is super famous. I was able to buy without waiting in line because I entered the stadium early. When you want to try various things, I think it's good to have just the right amount of volume to satisfy you.

Starting today, it's another 3-game series♪ I've already been to almost all the restaurants I wanted to try, but there are some places that I just keep going back to, you know? This place's signature dish is delicious, and they even have a special mini version only available at the stadium. I thought the portion might be small, but it was just right since I'm planning to visit multiple restaurants today. When I ordered the salted fish guts, I suddenly felt like having some alcohol, so I ended up trying Japanese sake for the first time at the stadium. Oops, I did it again! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Watching the Nippon Ham Fighters and Lotte Marines game while enjoying a seafood bowl and a cold beer is the best! The mini seafood bowl with a piece of kelp shaped like Hokkaido was adorable. We also got to see the Kitsune dance and Escon Field, with Hokkaido food and drink stalls surrounding the stadium, felt like a food theme park. Many people were not even watching the game, just eating and drinking at the various food stalls. It was hard to tell if they were there for the game or just to enjoy delicious food.

At Escon Field Hokkaido, I went to watch a baseball game. The game has started and the atmosphere is getting exciting. I decided to go replenish my drink at a shop on the 3rd floor on the 3rd base side. The shop seems to specialize in seafood dishes, offering items like seafood bowls and chirashi sushi. One of their visually appealing dishes is the ikura bowl, which looks very luxurious. They also have a variety of small dishes to accompany drinks. Although I was interested in trying many dishes, I wasn't very hungry, so I ended up purchasing a fox lemon sour (700 yen). The drink is a bit sweet and easy to drink, with a moderate alcohol content that should be fine even for women. The cup has a print of the Fighters Girl, which is currently popular among baseball fans for the fox dance. It looks cute. Since it was a seafood shop, I regret not trying their seafood dishes. They also offer standing drinking inside, so I look forward to trying seafood with a drink next time.

The ground is close by, feeling the heat on your skin while enjoying a bowl of ikura don. What a wonderful trip it is. The specialty "cheers" can only be experienced by those dining in the restaurant. From the escalator, you may also attract attention from others, but the feeling of superiority of enjoying something good is also there, making it taste even better. At the ballpark, with this quality and this price, considering the atmosphere, it is really worth it. I am a tourist from Tokyo, just in case.

Before watching the baseball game, we first went to get dinner. Escon Field may be a bit pricey, but it has a lot of restaurants to choose from, which is nice. Taking into account the crowd and our mood, we decided where to eat. We chose the Chami Chirashi for 1360 yen. It had a variety of ingredients and looked delicious. Sushi dishes like this don't require cooking, so there weren't long lines, which was great. My son and I bought it here. The eel was delicious. We ate it before the game and during the game. However, when we ate it later, the soy sauce had soaked into the rice, making the taste a bit disappointing, so it would have been better to eat it all at once. It was so tasty that we might buy it again when we watch baseball games.

It's 5:00 pm on March 30, 2023. Escon Field Hokkaido! It's the opening day of professional baseball! Hello, this is Kamen. Oh boy, here we go. To celebrate the opening of the new stadium, the Blue Impulse flew overhead, but many people came by car to see it, causing a traffic jam with cars parked on the roadside, making the shuttle bus unable to move at all. I hurried to Kitahiroshima Station and finally arrived at Escon Field. I lined up for a takeout from Hachikyu-san for a quick bite, but the line wasn't moving much. Upon closer inspection, there were empty seats inside the restaurant! I moved inside and ordered a small bowl of ikura don. Surprisingly, the portion was generous. Thank you very much. It was delicious!

The deliciousness of the food can only be heard by those eating inside the restaurant! I was able to hear other customers' reactions while waiting in line. I underestimated stadium food. It was so delicious!

The companion who took me to Esukon Field bought lunch at "Kaime Hachikyo" on the 3rd floor (STAR LEVEL). It seems to be a popular seafood izakaya chain in the Susukino area. You can dine in the restaurant or take out. The "Hichori Bento" for 1,360 yen includes hokke fry, salted salmon, hokke mince, sashimi, and ikura. It is named after Morimoto Kiten, the outfield defense and base running coach for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, although his connection to this bento is unclear. Several senior reviewers have also purchased this bento. The seaweed has the number 80, and the kelp is from Hokkaido. It looks fun and delicious, and apparently, it tastes delicious too. If it wasn't delicious for this price... well, let's not think about that!

The alcohol salesperson changes frequently at this stand, but they are actually a fan of soft drinks. Since the soft drink salesperson only comes occasionally, I chose to buy from the nearest and shortest line that day. The drink options here include oolong tea, green tea, Calpis, Calpis soda, and ginger ale. There was no melon soda available. The price for ginger ale was 380 yen. Soft drink prices seem to be the same at all stores. It was Canada Dry ginger ale.

When we went to see the baseball game at Escon Field, we were very thirsty, so we decided to buy a soft drink. We intended to order the Escon exclusive Calpis, but we were given a regular, ordinary Calpis instead, and we realized that's why it was cheaper than we thought. The amount we paid was minimal, but the staff was polite and didn't make a fuss. That made us happy, so we're thinking of ordering the delicious-looking seafood menu next time.

I want to try player gourmet at a restaurant I haven't been to yet. Here's one: Coach Kazuhiro Morimoto's Hichori Bento for 1,360 yen. The rice is vinegared rice shaped like Hokkaido, which is pretty exciting. The sashimi slices are thick and quite delicious. Under the sashimi, there is seaweed laid out. Under the fried fish, there is tartar sauce. The fried fish is crispy and tasty. The balance between rice and side dishes is good and overall, it's well put together.
